Ordered house salad and what came next was a mixture of the Caesar and house salads. Also ordered grilled chicken and it came with fried chicken. Didn’t order any tea and the waiter brought me a tea. Not sure what was up. Perhaps an off Monday lunch? Waiter was nice but too many mistakes to make me want to come back.
Great food! Great service! Would definitely come back!
The food was good but our service was just okay. Also, the tables are right next to one another so there is no privacy at all, it is very loud, and if you aren’t careful you could bump your neighbor at the table next to you.
I love this place. The food and the drinks are unique and so delicious!!!
We love this spot, but food wasn't as satisfying as usual.
Love this place! When my husband and I come to Richmond, this is always our go to restaurant. The food and service is amazing. :-)
Great location, cute restaurant. I was dining with a party of 6, and of the 6 of us, two orders were wrong. Food and drinks came out at the same time, and it was a very rushed dining experience. I'm not one for harsh reviews, but I don't think I will be returning to Lulu's. Their brunch focuses too much on drinks, and too little on the quality of the food.
Amazing!! You know it's worth the trip if this is our to go spot in Richmond for breakfast. The ambience is cool, the staff are amazing and the food is out of this world! The Bloody Mary's are addicting and delish. I have not found any reason not to come out here for Brunch.
Great menu. Great atmosphere.
The service was great. However, the music was SO LOUD that it was difficult and exhausting to have a conversation with my family.
Great food, friendly service, & the perfect setting!
Yummy food! The mimosas are always delicious. Friendly service. We were a little late and the hostess was very kind about it. Wonderful atmosphere as well.
LuLu's is a great spot. Unfortunately, my experience on Sun was less than stellar. The food was honestly sub par, but I ordered something off the list of specials and that's the first time I have not thoroughly enjoyed my food. I'm not convinced a raspberry hollandaise is the best idea for what it's worth. However, the service was outstanding; our server was fantastic. The hostess was very sweet and clearly cares very much about the customers. I will definitely be back but I might be less inclined to order something off the specials menu.
Great Food, Fun Atmosphere
Great location for brunch. Fast service, great mimosas and reasonable prices.
There’s nothing awful about LuLu’s, but one just hopes for more. Like a little more kick in the Bloody Marys, another stalk of asparagus, another menu option (catfish, bangers, salmon, fruit), a little more attentiveness, etc. Still, LuLu’s serves up a decent brunch at an OK price, and I will visit again.
Wanted to lift my husband's spirits up since he'd recently lost his Mom. I already knew about the great food and service, but he had to see for himself. The service was outstanding! And the food was absolutely delicious. The gentleman serving us left my husband and I feeling special and we both walked out of Lulu's much happier than before we arrived. It was a memorable time we both won't soon forget, especially during a time when every moment mattered so much. Thanks Lulu!
Probably one of the best brunch restaurants in RVA!
It was very tasty! We did not have to wait until 12:45 to be seated. We did wait a bit for drinks but it was brunch time so we understood they were busy. Overall great experience; everyone was full and happy.
Food is DELICIOUS!! Service leaves much to be desired. Hosts and bussers are friendly and helpful, servers not so much. Forgets to bring things, spills all over the table and leaves it, have to ask for silverware, seemed annoyed to be serving us; goes on and on! The food does make up for it though. Just be prepared doing into it!
The food was amazing, my Atlantic omelette was so fluffy, the potatoes had the perfect amount of seasoning and the red velvet waffle was amazing. I will be back very soon
Went for brunch. Friendly server. Good-sized portions. We both liked the bacon, egg and cheese croissant and the chorizo omelet.
As usual, the food, drinks, and service were outstanding! Its our go to place every time we are in the River City!
Overall it was okay. The food was good but it took an hour to be served! Very noisy, hard to hear the person in front of me, and we were a square table of four
Everything at LuLu's was excellent . It could be over the top excellent if they had a bigger kitchen and food could come out a bit faster. we waited for what seemed like forever for our bloody mary's. But everyone else seemed to be waiting patiently as well. Perhaps a full house for Sunday brunch is not normal. But there it was. Full. Friendly. Noisy. Alive. Maybe I'm just not used to youthful enthusiasm.
Our entre's were great. We even had dessert. something called Velvet Waffle. Strawberry flavored waffle with cheese cake filling, strawberries and whipped cream. we there walked from near the Coliseum, so I had a calorie deficit. ;-)
Good as always
We sat in the cafe side. It was pleasant and bright. Less noise for a brunch for two.
Honestly, this is the second time this month I have been to LuLu’s for an event and it has been terrible. Every time I am there it is ALWAYS an issue with seating, even with reservations. The hostess were rude! Everyone was unorganized with seating and we were told multiple different stories about our table! And when we tried to go to the bar to get a drink while waiting, we were told no to because “we hadn’t checked in.” The waitress was rude and then we were charged for a cake that we brought. On our way out, staff was over heard saying “thank god.” Completely rude and inappropriate. I will never eat here again and will recommend anyone who wants a decent environment without rude staff not eat here! Never will plan an event her again!
I had a reservation and still waited 30+ min to be seated. All the while, I watched people without a reservation come in and be seated before my party. I was not impressed with the unenthusiastic, inattentive and nonchalant service from my waitress. However, the manager was great in accommodating our issues to improve the overall experience.
Food was great, I wish it was a little hotter temperature-wise, but flavors were great. Very nice wait staff.
Nice place, good food. Had a lovely brunch with family in the area.
Careful with the parking - there are two parking lots - paid at the machine for the City of Richmond but was parked in the Cityonline lot. Signage is not adequate, especially for out of town guests.
Food was outstanding, service was excellent, drinks we good, awesome breakfast great price. Perfect start to our morning
It was a cute comfy spot to chill and eat with friends. The red velvet waffles had NO taste at all but the potatoes and bacon was good. My peach Mamosa was good. I tried my cousins shrimp and grits and that was delicious.
Server was overwhelmed and the only person covering the back section. It was an average brunch experience.
Except for the noise level, everything was great. Food was terrific, we had a great server and the whole restaurant has a fun vibe.
Very nice and accommodating staff, great food, affordable, and plenty of seating.
Food is always delicious and the waitresses are super nice!
Great place for Sunday Brunch! Delicious food and interesting choices and specials. It's great that they take reservations. I had the Sausage & Pancake special. It was delicious and gluten free with potato pancakes and chicken sausage and two eggs. They also offer yummy libations that my dining partners enjoyed but I was the driver so stuck with coffee. Dining partners enjoyed the chicken taco special and steak and eggs special. The only one not pleased was the one who ordered the corned beef hash because the corned beef chunks were huge and not what was expected. the service was decent especially with the huge crowd they had. Would definitely return for brunch.
Crab Benedict was great!! Try the peach mimosa.
Absolutely amazing! The red velvet waffles were in an article we read as a food you MUST eat in Richmond and I would have to concur! We loved everything that we put into our mouths at Lulus! We will be back!
