   You must get the biscuit with hot honey. Get there early enough before they sell out. Also try the early bird menu. Such an excellent value, cooked to perfection and flavorful. Salad, entree and dessert. I even took some home so it was a generous portion size. Will definitely return. Service was impeccable as well.

   I ate at the Lucky Rooster 8 years ago and it was one of my favorite restaurants in the south. This was my first time back. We ate there in a Saturday night. The menu had good variety of items but more abbreviated than I remembered. The food and presentation were excellent. I had the shrimp and scallops (4 medium local shrimp, 2 scallops) and my husband had the pork chop. For the price $40 (especially in comparison to other restaurants the days prior) I felt the amount of seafood was on the small side. We also each had a salad. Both The wedge and house salad were large portions and very fresh. There’s a nice wine selection and bar. The outdoor seating was a pleasant surprise. Overall I still think this is a hidden gem and very under appreciated. I hope people give it a try.

   The Lucky Burger was outrageously delicious, and my husband really enjoyed the lamb meatloaf. Pear salad was delicious also. Our server was great, very attentive, and a joy to chat with! Wonderful dinner for our last night in Hilton Head. Will be back on our next trip to HH.

   We had our reservations for over a month. This is our second attempt to eat here. On the day of our reservation we received a call saying they changed their hours and will not be open that evening. Didn’t they know that days prior? Why call us on the day of the reservation? Not impressed. Needless to say, they lost our business.

   We had Mike for a server and he was great! Our food was good too, the sandwiches are particularly yummy. Will go back.

   Lucky Rooster was a fantastic dining experience. The dining room was spacious and welcoming. The staff was great. Was impressed by the teamwork of the staff. The pace of the dining experience was not rushed and perfectly timed from check in to check out. The entrees for the three adults were exceptional. The kids gave two thumbs up for their meals as well. Only downside was the portions were so filling We had to pass when offered dessert. Next time I will be ordering the peach cobbler. As a Hilton Head resident I wish we had ventured here earlier in our residency but I will surely return in the near future. Keep up the good work and continue to provide a top notch experience to all who enter through your doors.

    The food here is always top notch and so delicious, the chef is a genius. The service was excellent by our server, Oz. He made sure everyone is my party was happy and comfortable. The drinks crafted by the mixologist were so good, everyone was passing their drinks around the table to share sips. The experience all in all was fantastic, and everyone left extremely satisfied and impressed.
