Great dining experience. Staff rocked. Owner took time to stop by and have a friendly chat. Definitely will return. Good spin on southern food. Definitely good for foodies.
Great wine finds and conversation with Clayton the owner and chef. This made our night with friends from out of town. Unusually quiet since it was the day after Valentine’s but we had a wonderful time.
The braised lamb shanks were exceptional. Meat literally fell off the bone but retained essential moistness. Merlot reduction and accompanying items complemented the lamb perfectly. Particularly high marks go to the roasted cauliflower. The service was professional and attentive but pleasantly casual. The owner chatted amiably with diners at virtually every table, treating us like guests - not just customers.
Enjoyed the food. Decor was a bit dated. I’d go again.
I took the plunge and could not resist the opportunity to try the Pappy V. Expensive but a very good experience. Food was good but a little pricey. Service did not live up to our expectations.
Great place. Food and service was excellent. Will certainly be back.
Party of four all ordered off Restaurant Week menu. Great bargain and enjoyed a sampling of several really wonderful local dishes.
Great atmosphere and service. The food presentation was a bit overdone with the food being quite good but the roasted Brussel sprouts were not cooked well enough and were chewy and not seasoned well.
Chicken pot pie was excellent. My friends choice was good but not excellent.
We loved this place. Very homey and comfortable. The food is great.
Lots of fun.
