Fried calamari served with marinara dipping sauce
Shrimp Scampi & Linguine
Shrimp sautéed with butter and garlic in a white wine sauce and served over a bed of linguine
Food and service were impeccable. Would definitely dine there again.
Excellent authentic Italian food!!! DiLisio so!!! Felt like I was in Italy👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Excellent service. Our server knew everything about the menu. Lobster ravioli was excellent.
This wasn't my first time dining at Lucia's. I am Italian an absolutely love their food!
I have made plans to go again!
Impeccable service. Great menu with a variety of specials. Always a wonderful experience. Just like the North End without the crowds. Really attractive outdoor seating area.
Lucia’s is always so good. Service was amazing - Great night celebrating a friend’s Birthday
Just excellent. It’s the north end in Winchester.
Sat outside and had a very good meal. Orlando was a great waiter!
Horrible first experience at this restaurant! Waited at the front desk for 10 minutes before being acknowledged- 2 employees there but no contact. Service continued to be poor the whole evening. The food was okay but not great. Won’t go back
Good food nice night
Great!! Great!! Great!! Great!! Great!! Great!! Great!! Great!!
We were excited that they offered fresh pasta in their menu and ordered all items which had fresh pasta listed. When the items came though, all had “out of the box” linguini and penne in all 4 of our plates. When asked, the waitress simply said that they ran out of the pasta in the description and they just substituted! In all the other restaurants they always let us know if this is the case especially if there is added cost involved for the fresh pasta! Very disappointing! Felt like we paid big bucks just to eat a glorified boxed/frozen pasta!!
Overall it was very good. A little noisier then I prefer, but we could still hear each other.
The service was excellent. Our meals were very good, but I ordered a Caprese Salad and the tomatoes, we tasteless. There were not Red and Ripe, they seemed like grocery store tomatoes you buy in the winter. For $13.00, I was expecting much better quality. I would definitely go back, but next time I'll order the Caesar Salad!
Our waitress Genna was awesome.....enjoyed talking with her and she provided great service
Everything was great I will definitely be back again and it was my 1st time eating there. Staff was good
The menu online had bread pudding and I wanted it so I didn’t eat as much of my meal as I would have if I wasn’t planning on the dessert. By the time I found out, my meal was already packed up.
This was our first time at Lucia, and we were very disappointed. The restaurant was very loud, and it was hard to even have a normal conversation. Service was slow. One person in our party received a drink right away, but the waitress didn’t come back for a long time to get drinks for the rest of the table, so the person was drinking by himself. The entrees were mediocre in taste, and vegetables or even a side salad was a la carte. What we received (pasta and a small protein) was not a good value for the price. We waited a long time to put our order in, and a long time to receive our food. This was not an enjoyable experience for us as far as the atmosphere or the food and we did not feel that we received value for the cost. We will not go back, and I will not recommend this to friends.
Always a great experience: service food and value.
It was lovely sitting outside. The food was great and the help attentive. Very busy for Father’s Day, but they managed!
Fantastic food and service as always. Drinks are excellent also!
We had made a reservation on Opentable for 7p.m. We arrived 10 minutes early and were sat promptly. Our server immediately came over with bread and olive oil and water. There was plenty of time given for choosing our course. The server was attentive and answered all our questions and was very accommodating for our gluten free member. The server struck that balance of checking in on us and letting us enjoy our meal. I would reccomend this restaurant and would go there again.
Fabulous food and service
The food was ok. It tastes mediocre, the presentation is poor. Portions are big and the food is incredibly heavy. The price point is by far too high for what it is.
My biggest complaint is the service. It was poor. The personnel seemed borderline rude and untrained. We were helped by multiple hosts (with our actual host being openly upset about it). Waiters showed up multiple times with food we did not order (saw the same happening at other tables). We were asked whether we wanted them to clear out plates while we were still using those plates (obviously eating).
Beautiful outdoor dining space. Service impeccable as always. Traditional high quality North End style menu. Food delicious.
Eating in Lucia's Winchester is almost like their place in the North End but without the fire engines across the street.
First time eating with my besty post-Covid. Hoped to be outside (they have a nice outside space, with a roof), but alas weather wasn’t cooperative. I had a squid and pasta dish with capers and olives that was really tasty—umami sauce and great pasta. Garden salad was good too. It was a bit noisy and the waitress a little short, but I was greeted warmly at the door and throughout the evening, and all staff were competent. This restaurant was a favorite with my daughter when she was younger and it was great to be back.
The food was very tasty - as always - the fusilli is one of my favorites. They had the "standards" (shrimp scampi) as well as nice specials (whole fish on greens with grilled vegetables - that they de-boned for us!), and a good variety of dishes. The calamari was salty and tasty and great! (Salty to me is a good thing!) and the desserts were also interesting (chocolate espresso pudding) along with the favorites (cannoli). Service was also great - speedy and courteous and attentive. I love that Lucia's is right near where I live - but it's worth a trip to Winchester to visit even if you're not down the street!
Dinner with an old family friend.
We knew we were going to have a good experience at Lucia, and we did. Food was authentic and service was wonderful. And thanks for gluten-free opinions!!
Food was tasty but unhappy that eggplant dish was served almost cold. Caesar salad ok but should have anchovies included. Well made cocktail and the wine was a decent pour. The decor is warm and somewhat inviting but it can be a loud room. The waitstaff was efficient and our server was lovely. Pricing was fair considering how much the cost of food is rising.
Waited 35 minutes at the table before anyone approached the table. After taking our order, took another 14 minutes to get a glass of wine, the place was not full! The cozze appetizer was excellent the rest of the meal was mediocre.
Have been to Lucia many times. Usually a good overall experience. This was the total opposite. Terrible service as our server had tables in several different areas and often forgot about us. Food was very slow to arrive and poorly prepared. Sole was very undercooked and very wet to the point of not edible
Manager was very indifferent to our comments. We will not return
Food and service were good. The drinks were much too expensive, almost $30 for two drinks, too much!
Lucia's has been a favorite of ours since it opened in the 1980's. Consistently great place to dine. Excellent Italian Food, comfortable seating and very reasonable prices.
Great selection on the menu
This was our first time here and we will be back.
Good food and good value.
Went last night, a Saturday, post? pandemic. Place was kind of overwhelmed. They forgot my order, but did get it out about 5-10 mins everyone else's. Didn't make a fuss, but it's a real big pet peeve of mine. If we hadn't spent the last 14 months going through what we have, it would have been more of an issue!
The food was sub par - pasta wasn’t freshly cooked (also asked for linguine and got spaghetti), the bruschetta used tomatoes that were hard and unripe, the waiter tried hitting on my friend and kept trying to talk us into more value meals, honestly will never go back. I had heard great things but it was a disappointment. American Italian at its worst. The quality of the ingredients was very poor. We were told there was a time limit when we got there but the service was so slow it took longer. The waiter then spoke to us and pointed to all the people waiting for our table. Meanwhile there were 4 empty tables outside and it was virtually empty inside. It’s too bad because the location was great.
One of my favorite restaurants - The service is always amazing - the food even better. I love this Restaurant! The food is always incredible. Already thinking of when I can return.
