Went out to dinner with one of my girlfriends - we had a great time. Everything was good. Great value for sure! Will go back again.
Everything was fantastic like always. Nice outdoor set up for safety
Ice cold in there but hey it’s covid. Hard to say I loved it because with covid not the same experience. Food was good so was wine
Went on a Saturday night, ate inside and had a party of 4. Place was busy which is always a good sign. Appetizers were good, one main had an over cooked Salmon dish and one main came out cold which was sent back.
Waiter was apologetic and professional about the 2 mains, they comped us 1 dessert and a glass of wine for the inconvenience. I would try it again during the week as the food was good, just had a bad night with the 2 mains.
Excellent meal and service!
We had reservations at 5pm on a Sunday, we were sat outside and waited 10min and nobody acknowledged us, then we asked to move inside because our kids were cold and we sat for 10min and all we got was water and no waiter/waitress came over so we left because our kids were starving and we were thirsty. We left at 5:30
Food was ok...been here twice and service is never great, they kept taking away our plates when we were still eating.
This restaurant was amazing! The food was so good and the service was so quick and they were so polite! Definitely recommend this place!
We had a wonderful dinner. As Lucia is located farther down Hanover street, there are far less crowds walking by. Their outdoor seating is blocked off, with some heaters, next to the church. It was a really lovely spot to sit. Our server, Jess, was fantastic. The foot was served piping hot. We would definitely recommend and will return.
We really appreciated how Lucia's have set up their outside seating. We will definitely try to return before winter's cold hits!
The food was amazing
Good food. Enthusiastic help. Excellent Ambience.
It was our first time dining out in 6 months. Dining at Lucia was like coming home. Christiano was a great host! The food was amazing as always.
Wonderful meal and wine sitting outside with COVID rules followed
Great food, great service! Nice ambience away from the crowds and noise on the other end of Hanover Street. Definitely recommended.
We love it there!
Really no ambiance at all. No table linen. Anti pasto was poorly made and presented. Cold cuts cut too thick.
Delicious, authentic Italian food. The set up outside was perfect and our server Christiano was great!
We wrote in the reservation we were celebrating a birthday and not one person (host, server, etc) said happy birthday to my boyfriend. I’ve worked in restaurants for years and when people come to a restaurant to celebrate that special occasion, you should acknowledge it. It was pretty disappointing. Especially in a time where people are out of work and it’s a pandemic, you should do whatever you can to ensure you get returning business. We aren’t sure if we will be back despite the food being so great.
Lucia restaurant is serviceable but not memorable. With all the amazing options in the North End I would go elsewhere. Food was decent not exceptional and prices were high for quality and portion size. Server was polite and friendly but didn’t seem to know much about the food. We ordered a fish dish, Penne vodka and a chicken limon as well as bruschetta and calamari. Apps were better than entrees. Penne vodka was my favorite of the three entrees... safest. However not the most exceptional penne vodka out there... but good.
Our server was so sweet! We made a last minute reservation and was able to get in that night. We had the option of inside or out.
Amazing experience! Food was so delicious and we had a great time
Awesome love Christiano!!!
Authentic Italian food. Friendly host and great location in the North end
Overall we were not happy with the experience. We selected Lucia because their current outdoor seating is very nicely set up. However, aside for the location our experience was not positive. First off, when I called to make reservations, the person taking in my information didn’t speak English so I ended up booking through Open Table. Then the service once we got there was not good - one of the waitresses just kept dropping plates on our table without any sense of curtesy or professionalism. The food was very average for the price we paid. Never get fish at Lucia! We ordered a filet of sole, and it was very soggy and tasted horrible. The dessert quietly frankly was the only thing that saved our overall experience.
the service wasn’t good by any means but food was okay.
Food was good but the service was horrible. Waited 20 minutes and then had to ask the host for our server to come over for the first time. Ordered a 2nd glass of wine when they delivered the food which never came. I then had to flag down my waiter for the bill. Too many choices in the North End for me to go back.
It took 1 hour from the time of our reservation to get seated and then another 40 minutes plus constant reminder for service before our server came to the table to take our orders. The food came and it was no better than ordering from a fast food.
Wonderful service . Beautiful night under the stars. Food is excellent.Veal chop special and steak Arrostiga excellent
Great outdoor dining set up, the food was on point as always. Great selections of wines (we tried a few bottles), in particular, a very nuanced Montepulciano. Christiano waited on us and provided fantastic service.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. The food is consistently delicious, and our waiter Cristiano is excellent. The outdoor space is nice, improved lately with turf and candles to create a special atmosphere. Will return again and again.
Christiano was an amazing server. He was very welcoming and we told him we were supposed to be in Italy right now (covid prevented that). He made it feel like a true Italian experience. Told us a little about the history of the restaurant and Rome. He recommended a great bottle of wine to split, and we both had the vodka penne. Absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to go back! A dinner experience we will never forget.
Great food. Jess was our waitress and terrific!
Beautiful evening at Lucia's restaurant. Very good food, lovely atmosphere in the Churchyard in the North End, excellent service! Quiet enough to have a conversation--all in all well worth going.
The food was amazing and the service was great. We were so impressed and can't wait to come back.

Italian dinner night with my Italian coworkers. Exceptional food and service.
Service was alright. Looks like waiters were new.
The service was very hit or miss. Servers were in and out all around us except ours. Saw him twice in an hour. Once we got a new waiter it was a better experience.
Christiano was excellent. Food was superb. Sat outside and it was a beautiful day
