   Wonderful meal here. Asparagus soup was delicious as was the beef tenderloin and risotto. Service was efficient, polite and courteous. Highly recommend.

   Regret! Don’t be like us and regret going here. Just go elsewhere. Service was indifferent and lacking effort. Branzino fish full of bones and poorly done. Pasta portions very very small, more like a child portion. Overpriced. Noisy. Ruined the north end for us!

   Food was outstanding. Kudos to the Chefs here. Waitstaff was very good,however she did hover a bit around our table making us feel a bit rushed.

   This was a recommendation from a friend that lived here a while ago. The whole experience started nicely with introductions and overall nice engagement with the staff. After ordering, we rarely saw our server (other helpers were not letting our water glasses stay empty though-kudos). The meals were disappointing and nothing above average. Meatball appetizers weren’t ‘really really’ too good, Salmon was average. I felt as if the Fennel Pork Sausage had to be searched for long and hard to find some in the over indulgence of pasta. While I appreciated the recommendation, I wouldn’t pass it on to others. Boston prices should be spent elsewhere.

   Met friends from out of town and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Lucca. The drinks and food variety satisfied all our palates. We shared appetizer and dessert. While the waitress was friendly, the bus boy was FANTASTIC. He offered to take a picture of us and then brought my friends purse to her when she left it on the table. He kept water full, (big positive for me) and cleared the table naturally, not at all disruptive. Improvement Suggestions: Only 1 toilet for guests. We went on a Wednesday and had to wait, I cannot imagine being there on a weekend. Given the North End location, Valet parking was one of the reasons, I choice Lucca. Valet parking is NOT free. I was not expecting to pay and then cash only too. Usually when Valet parking, I give generous tips and do not expect to pay for parking. I know Valet is separate from restaurant, but it should be a link on the Restaurant website that gives you the rates, so you a not caught off guard like I was. It was just lucky I had that much cash with me.
