Food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely dine here again. Service was great, the server checked in with us just the right amount of time. It was just perfect. We had a nice early dinner with family.

One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the North End. We had a great table at the street side and I had a romantic diner with my wife before we attended a party to Celebrate the King’s Birthday with other people from The Netherlands. The service was great and the food was wonderful. The valet parking was very convenient as it was raining. Looking forward to return to Lucca in the near future.

We had great experience. Arrived early and it was raining outside. They made extra effort to seat us early and that just set the tone for a great dinner. Best food we have had in North End.

Our experience was enhanced by our server (Addie) as she was outstanding! She gave awesome recommendations that were better than suggested. This Chicago couple will be telling all and everyone that visits Boston to make sure that Lucca is on their agenda…AMAZING!

Overall a pretty good place. Meatballs lived up to the “really really good” description on the menu and calamari was fresh and not breaded and solid. The shrimp pasta was overcooked and not great, but the pea and asparagus ravioli was better. The wines are all mislabeled in terms of year. I ordered a 2018 Post & Beam Cab, and they brought me a 2022 bottle. I said I ordered the 2018 and was told that all of the wines listed are the wrong year and that they stock only the “current vintage” of each bottle. I’m not a wine snob, but that’s not Ok!

Excellent experience overall. Rita who met us upon arrival was very hospitable and checked in mid meal to see how we were doing. Piero, our waiter, was helpful with wine selection, as well as the meal. The food came out quickly, hot and well presented. The branzino was outstanding. We had split a special salad that included Buratta cheese. It was very tasty. We sat down at 6. By 7.15 the noise had become quite loud as the seats filled. Shortly thereafter the noise was too loud for those of us who wear hearing aids. Since we had finished our meal and lemoncello, provided by Rita, it was time to go. We will return!

We dined there last year two nights in a row when in Boston for the Marathon. Having had such a great experience then we returned again during Marathon weekend. Will definitely be back!
