Lucas Park Grille
Everything went well. The food and service were very good as was the atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
The patio area was nice and shady. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone loved what they ordered. The kale caesar salad was tasty and filling.
Our initial experience was terrible. We were seated and greeted quickly, but no one came back to our table for about 10 minutes. I watched as workers walked by us over and over again. Right as we were about to get up and leave, a different server noticed us and asked if we had been helped. The experience afterwards was much better. She was great and the food was great.
For the prices of this restaurant, I expect the service and ambiance to be better than it was.
Food was really tasty and the decor was comfortable. We would go back if we had the chance.
It was a lovely evening... the food and service was excellent!
As stated, the food was delightful . Our service was very good. Our female waiter made some great suggestions- lobster butter on my salmon over the beet salad topped it off perfectly!
She provided great Cocktail selection.
I was unhappy with no presence of toilet tissue in my stall.
Figured out it was tucked way above behind me on a shelf that was not expose to me sitting on the potty!!!
I was told it is not on rolls due to the rowdy late night clientele.
Welllll, I am not that group and didn’t appreciate the inconvenience.
The service provided by Tina was wonderful, giving us options and always following up with answers to our questions. My steak was cooked to perfection! The beet salad was very refreshing. I will be back if I get back to St. Louis
3 different entrees ordered in our group and all 3 were excellent
The service was poor. The duck was too salty. The toasted ravioli was dry. The cheese tray appeared moldy, but we were told it was truffle in the cheese.
Menu changes often but always a great experience!
Took about 1/2 hour for drinks when there was virtually no other tables occupied. All in all, dinner took two hours and the food all came at room temperature, over cooked, and salads overdressed! Would never ever go there again! An empty restaurant and they still can’t get it right!
It was good...not exciting. Ribeye was a 7. Spinach was lacking..
Seemed expensive..but it was a downtown location.
Way too noisy, the staff lack luster
We dined at Lucas Park Grille prior to a St Louis Blues game. We scheduled our reservation for 2 1/2 hours prior to game time. The restaurant was rather quiet and empty when we arrived. We were seated promptly. The host gave us food menus, but no cocktail or wine lists. We had to go to the bar twice to get drink menus (once for the cocktail list and then again for the wine list as they are separate). When the waiter finally arrived, we ordered drinks and an appetizer. When he brought the drinks, we told him we were ready to order our entrees. He stated he would return shortly as he needed to finish with another table. He did not show again for another 10 minutes or so. When the food arrived, it was delicious, but again, we were scheduled to go to the game, so we had to rush to eat as the service took so long. We asked for the check and relayed that we were in a rush. It took another 5 minutes to get the check. While the food was excellent, the service was very disappointing. We made it to the game with 15 minutes to spare. Since the restaurant was not busy, I would have expected a lot quicker service. If this is the normal, don't make any immediate plans for after dinner, or give yourself plenty of time to dine.
We were in town for some Braves Baseball and decided to have a fancy dinner our last night. We picked this place because it was close enough from our hotel! Glad we did, sorry to waitress and the staff that we selected a really late reservation, but we did not feel rushed at all! It was quiet because it was a Sunday, but we could tell that if it was a busier night the ambiance would be energetic and fun! Food was so so so good! Loved the lobster Mac n cheese and the yummy Nutella bars they had! Awesome place! If we’re ever back in town we will be back here!!
Fantastic meal , service and ambiance! Highly recommend!!!!
All the food was cooked perfectly - we tried chicken, steak and fish - apps were yummy and good deal before 7 - sat outside which was a problem as leaves and pollen got in drinks and food - server was very nice
An essenstial meal for a vital meeting. Vg food and respectful service.
Would rate food higher but my wife was disappointed in the flatbread. We've eaten here numerous times and this is first dish either of us were disappointed with. They also allowed substitution of parmesan fries instead of usual fries with my steak. We will return.
This was a delightful midweek date night. We had a great meal w/ the perfect candlelight in an upper level.
Food was incredible. They had a party going on in the back and then pretty much no one else in the restaurant (only a few tables). Our server took our order, brought my salad and then we didn't see him for the rest of the meal until it was time for the check. Never came to fill our water glasses until the end and my dirty salad plate sat on the table for the whole dinner. For this caliber of restaurant that is really a low level of service. Overall it was good but the service needs to come up a notch given the price point.
We dined at 5 pm so there was not very many other patrons in the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and are meal was served very nicely and each of us enjoyed it. The only downfall was my drink, tangeruay and tonic, which was not very tasty. I am not sure if they used tangeruay or another gin, but I did not ask, I just nursed it. I would still go back, but next time I would question this.
This is a restaurant for both the young and young at heart. The bar area has a great vibe for those who want to enjoy music and drinks in a fun place. We ate in the dining room, which had a lovely ambiance with just the right lighting, good music, and a beautiful fireplace. Our steaks were superb, and our service was friendly and efficient. We loved the whole experience so much, we had our Airb&b host add it to his recommendations. We will return the next time we visit St. Louis.
We sat in the “fine dining” section of the restaurant. Very quiet, perfect for our small family get-together.
Food was really good. Pork chop, short ribs, beef tenderloin and rib-eye all done to perfection.
Cocktails and wine very good.
Our server had a slightly annoying habit of appearing and then disappearing before we were quite done with him. But, overall service was good.
Crowd was sparse on a Saturday night. We’re from another city. I’m told downtown St. Louis is pretty dead. We found this to be true.
The service was very slow. We were seated at 7 and didn't have our meal until 8:20. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. Once the food arrived, it was very good, but the slow and unfriendly service made the overall experience disappointing.
Great dinner on a Friday night - food service ambiance excellent! And an easy drive to the Enterprise Center for the Michael Buble’ concert!
Had never been here before but would definitely go back the food was fabulous. Good location to us make it to see Michael Bublé and have plenty of time for dinner and Uber
Great food at good prices with mediocre cocktails. I would return and order a different drink.
The beef short rib and the duck entrees were simply delicious!
Restaurant ambiance of Led Zeppelin and other music blasting overhead doesn't fit with the menu or decor. Probably why there were only a handful of people dining in the restaurant.
The waitress was nice but did not check on drinks that often I ordered coffee and after finishing first cup i waited a long time to get coffee cup refilled I had to motion to the waitress, before i got a refill. other than that the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful.
Always enjoy our dinners at LPG. They were friendly, attentive and have good food. The gooey butter dessert is amazing. Will be back again!
Good was great, service was a bit slow. Server did as well as he could but could tell that they were understaffed.
The food is delicious but a bit pricey. Felt the steak dinner should include a side vegetable. Valet parking at $8 plus tip is an extra cost. We tried the onion rings and I would not get those again.
Nice bar area and it has smaller, cozy side areas. One had a fireplace. Nice outside area with a fire pit Service was very good. Cocktails were good too, we had a couple martinis, good volume. The bread was warm and seasoned, the butter was also seasoned. Good place.
Unique menu, excellent service, eligant table settings and very tasty food. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed a very nice meal at this restaurant. Although not an expansive menu there was sufficient variety. The dishes (short rib beef bourgoune and my wife made a meal of appetizers) were well prepared. Excellent team service. The wine list is very good and had a number of what I believe were value priced wines - for example a Justin meritage at $90 a Frank Family Cab at $80 (which is less than twice the retail rate - restaurant must have gotten a great distributor rate).
My husband and I really liked Lucas Park Grille. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer, he had a rib eye steak and I had the halibut. Everything was fantastic (including the warm bread with honey/herb butter!) Portions were big so we shared the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. It was also great. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that some of the furniture needs to be replaced or recovered as the chair seat covers were very worn.
Waiter was exceptional, good wine list and great food. I’d come back here
First time eating at Lucas Park Grille and we were really enjoyed are dinner. The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. We most certainly will return and recommend to others.
I always enjoy coming to Lucas Park Grille. The customer service from the wait staff is excellent, the servers are knowledgeable, and the food is always cooked to perfection.
