We had a wonderful tasty Bone in Ribeye and it was fantastic! Along with broccolini and mushrooms. You have to try the Key Lime pie!!!!!! Our Server was Gaylynn, she was excellent! She made sure we were happy with everything. Manager Michael was also very attentive. We sat on the Patio and enjoyed people watching.

Most of the evening was nice, I found the host stand to be very unfriendly. I worked in fine dining for years and was shocked at their lack of warmth. Our waitress was wonderful, thankfully.

Our server was fine. The problem was he had 4-5 tables and the other tables were needy and whining so we didn’t get water refilled or offered and finally got our bread when we were done eating
The food was great
I know this is still a pandemic time but at your prices hire enough wait staff to take care of the tables

Always eat here before busy events at Petco Park. They take reservations, servers are very good, large menu and the food has always been very good, in my opinion. Best calamari around.

We (my girlfriend and I) came in at 8pm for a reservation on a Tuesday (last seating is at 9 according to OpenTable). In general, we go for a full restaurant experience- cocktails, bottle of wine, apps, entree and dessert. We were made to feel rushed from the very beginning. We ordered 2 of every oyster from the raw bar and some cocktails. Cocktails were good but we realized halfway through that not only had the oysters not been properly shucked (shell fragments in some, others not even slightly detached from the shell), we had only received 11 instead of the 12 we’d ordered. Meanwhile, every table around us on the patio was stripped to bare plastic, tablecloths and candles removed, heaters turned off, etc. We asked our server if we had enough time to order a bottle of wine, to which he replied “I’ll bring the cork so you can take the rest with you.” So...no. We got glasses instead. We ordered the octopus for an app (delicious) followed by a 35 oz dry-aged bone-in ribeye medium rare with mashed potatoes and mushrooms (also delicious) as sides. The steak came out obviously rushed and not rested, charred on the outside and chewy in the middle with juices leaking out on the board.
As people who work in restaurants, we understand the frustration of late tables and needy guests, but we arrived an hour before the last seating and ordered off the menu with no substitutions. We paid $300 for an extraordinarily mediocre meal.
No fault to the server, but the culture of the restaurant in general was disappointing to say the least. There are much better places in San Diego to eat. If you want to feel like you are dining at a Times Square steakhouse, this place might be for you.

Food was Amazing! We tried the Wagu aged Ribeye! It was very good. The drinks were a bit high. I ordered a double shot with lime juice. It was $17+ for one shot. We had a total of 2 drinks equaling 4 shots for $99 dollar alone.
Otherwise very pleased with Lou and Mikeys. Highly recommend it. Be careful of alcohol prices!

It’s a shame the hostess left such a bad impression or this score would have been a 5+. Every person in the restaurant counts. They need a new hostess or one who is better trained. We arrived early for dinner, she tells us there is no way they can accommodate us because they are so very busy. Being from out of town we had nothing to do but roam the streets waiting for our table. We find a place down the street to get a drink while we wait only to get a text from the restaurant saying our table is ready....early!!! We arrive, same girl now is supposed to seat us. We go outside, I ask can we sit closer to a heater. She says nothing to us, and walks back inside leaving us standing there. Several servers stopped to help as no one communicated with us. A woman, I assume manager, also stopped to help. She also disappeared and never returned. I finally had to go back to the hostess stand where we finally got seated. NO APOLOGY FROM ANYONE!! Once seated our server was delightful and the meal fabulous. Straighten up the front end of the house your food and servers deserve better.

Jeff our waiter was very kind and attentive but he had too many tables to wait on with nobody else to help him. Our cocktail drinks took 35min. to get to us before waiting another 15 just to order them. Aside from our water we did t get to start our drinks till 2pm with a 1:15pm reservation. I had to flag down the hostess to get our check. We were celebrating a birthday but weren’t offered anything for the occasion, or even the dessert menu. The cap steak was a little dry to me, other than that it was a beautiful day in San Diego. Wished the staffing was better scheduled, I’m sure my experience would have been much better. As busy as it was that Saturday afternoon I commend Jeff for trying his best, it just wasn’t fair to him to take on so many tables all by himself.

Service was good. Food horrible. They don't seem to know how to cook steaks. At 57 bucks for a rib eye it should be good. It's not that hard. Our steaks were under seasoned and very tough. Should have been a red flag when we were served 9 minutes after ordering. I'm sure they were re heated or steaks someone else returned. At least that's what the tastes like. The baked potato was not cooked through. The top was done and the rest was not cooked. The location is prime so my opinion is this is just a tourist trap. With Mortons, Flemmings and Ruths Chris nearby, dont waste your time with this scam
