   Bar service was great. Steak was excellent. Table service - awful. Rude and sat there for 20 mins before being spoken to . Then when we had questions about the menu we received snarky responses. Won’t be back.

   amazing food and service, highly recommend it to anyone, great location at the start of the gaslamp district. I'm sure all the servers are great but we had lynzie who was exceptional and always anticipated our needs before we had them, very personal.

   Just had to come back before I flew home to Texas. Lou & Mickey’s did not disappoint. Ask for Karlton (with a K) for great service. My steak was prepared beautifully. My salad was dressed perfectly and the chocolate cake was divine! Can’t wait to come back to enjoy the food, fun and fellowship!

    My dinner was outstanding! The food tasted great and the service was above and beyond. Since I was eating alone and didn’t want to waste food, they even gave me half portions on sides. My filet was prepared perfectly and the seared Ahi appetizer was to die for. Highly recommend!

    I would have rated them 4.5 stars if I could. Great service. Tammy was our server and was very attentive and helpful. My wife and I both ordered the filet medallions "thee ways" for dinner and baked potato, asparagus, wedge salad, & coconut shrimp to share. All were very good but my only complaint is that the bottom portion of several of the asparagus were a bit woody and we only got 3 coconut shrimp. 4 would have been a bit cleaner share for 2 of us. We love that there is no corkage and brought our own wine. Would definitely dine there again.

    The steaks are advertised as Prime but they definitely aren’t USDA Prime more like a Choice. If you want a USDA Prime choose a different restaurant. Steaks weren’t prepared as requested but they did take them back and fix it. Calamari was delicious. Wedge was great.

    Food and service were amazing. I would highly recommend the Dry aged Porterhouse and T-bone steaks. Cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth.

    Came here to celebrate my retirement from the military. I have dreamt about the wagyu since our first visit. The service was perfect. Our waiter was super friendly and made good recommendations. We knew it's not the most child-friendly restaurant and they dont have an actual physical kids menu (as we expected) but they were able to sufficiently accommodate us and offered my daughter a coloring page. The food was amazing and while definitely pricey, it is worth it. The cocktails were tasty and strong and didn't seem overpriced.

    We had dinner at Lou & Mickey’s for Mother’s Day. The selection of steaks was large and two in our party had the filet medallions. They were delicious. I found the encrusted halibut to be a bit dry and overcooked. The clam chowder was delicious. We were seated immediately with our reservation. Our waiter, Libby, was very attentive and knowledgeable.

    Great food and ambiance. Only downside was they only had dry aged ribeyes 22oz or higher available due to them being sold out. It was Mother’s Day, however the restaurant should have anticipated the demand and had more size options available at 6:30pm

    We went for Mother’s Day lunch. W sat outside, and it was a little chilly, however, the hostess offered us complementary blankets. The wait staff also turned on the propane heaters, so we were very comfortable. Alex, our server, was very accommodating. He often checked on us throughout our meal and refilled our beverages and bread. This is not our first time at Lou and Mickey’s. We are big fans!

    Everything was perfection. Dalton was our server and he was professional and spot on. The busser and food runners were great as well. We started with oysters and calamari, which were both amazing and then had steak, pasta and salads. Finished with dessert and espresso. A truly magical experience ❤️

    Lou and Mickeys is our go to spot when we want excellent food, lively, hip, fun atmosphere and good service. This time was a major disappointment. We ordered Bernaise sauce and were given possible garlic butter, our waitress was too busy to inquire, our food was getting cold. When the bill arrived, their were 2 bottles of wine, $180.00 added to our bill, my husband had 1 glass. My husband and I both woke up in middle of night with bad stomach aches…. Not fun!

    Overall all the place is solid. The steak was tasty and my wife had the mahi mahi. Our waitress was very efficient and nice but could have offered up some key information on the appetizer (read below) Two things to watch out for - it is quite noisy. We nearly had to yell in order to have a conversation. Not much the restaurant can do there. Our appetizer was ok but zero value. We ordered the “jumbo” coconut shrimp for $18. First of all you get three… $6 a shrimp and they were no larger that frozen Seapak shrimp from the store. Pass on those. I’d go back though.

    Food was good, however not exceptional. Musik was far too loud especially for lunchtime. even 3 waiters did nothing to change this. We were here for a convention this you need some less loud music otherwise it is tricky to discuss business affairs.
