Had a reservation and had to wait nearly 45 minutes for a seat that wasn’t at the bar. Once finally seated, the service was painfully slow. The music was painfully loud to where we had to wear our AirPods to protect our ears. The food was horrendous honestly, I did not finish a single item. The queso was very watery and runny, the rice and beans were overcooked and bland- almost as if the beans had come straight from the can. To end everything- we were incorrectly overcharged by $12 and had no way of correcting that as we did not get an itemized receipt until after we had paid. We were handed a mobile check out device that only showed the total and NOT the items. Overall, very poor experience and I do NOT recommend dining here.

My apologizes on your recent visit. We normally do not take reservations and this was a trail run for holidays. It was my understanding that you were okay waiting for a low top table as you preferred seating that was not high top (dining room or bar), reading this now that is obviously not the case. All of these issues, including the overcharge could of been handled in the moment had you asked for a manager, but I would be happy to solve these issues for you. I would also like to discuss inviting you back to give us another chance, as we missed the mark on your meal completely.

My husband I tried this place on Valentines normally we do not go out on valentines. We usually go before or after...but we decided to go somewhere low key and somewhere new. Los Chingones was awesome, the food was great, the margaritas was even better. The service was awesome! We recommend this place for sure.

Food is good, margs were great, hard to hear my table mate for the loud music… it’s like a loud bar….loved the Valentine’s Day special and appreciate everyone who was working that night

Loud techno music blasts over your ears, while the staff seems unhappy and not thrilled about serving customers. The chili relleno tasted like the bottom of a charcoal grill. The salsa is the worst in Denver.

This is the second time they have just decided to close early. Despite accepting me on the waitlist I arrive at 7:30pm to find out the kitchen is closing in 10 and I can stay for “one round of drinks.” Gee. Thanks. I find it rude and unwelcoming. And for a business in the hospitality business… not very hospitable.
