Our anniversary dinner at Lorenzo’s was wonderful. Service was outstanding and our meal was perfect. As always, seeing the Nicotras adds to every special occasion. A lovely evening.
I choose Lorenzo’s because I have have eaten here before when I’ve traveled to the area. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. The wine was average for the price and our mixed drink was also OK. However, I its a great place I f you’re staying at the hotel. If you’re looking for a meal, you can’t go wrong, but if you’re looking for drinks and a “bite to eat”, than you may want to choose somewhere else.
We always enjoy brunch at the Hilton. It's always such a welcoming place to spend a Sunday afternoon with family when celebrating a special occasion. Food selections are always delicious and replenished. Hidden gem on Staten Island!
Water glasses never refilled, broccoli rabe inedible, Rack of lamb over cooked
Our first experience at Lorenzo's Buffet was, overall positive. My only complaint would be
the piped in music was much too loud. Sitting as close as onl across from each other, was uncomfortable
to a point of distraction. We did ask to have it lowered, it was, the piano player took over and it too
was too loud. One should be able to converse and still enjoy the ever so delicious selection of musical
Restaurant is dated. Food was good after we sent back 3 steaks that were well done after ordering medium rare. Couldn't understand the error since the restaurant was empty except for one large party. By the time we were reserved, sides were cold. Management tried to makeup for the "dropped ball" but it was too late for the complimentary dessert & coffee. Instead a cookie plate was presented which was very nice but nothing can makeup for a well done steak. We don't typically dine out on Staten Island & this is why.
Nice atmosphere. Piano player adds class.
Everything was beautiful as usual in the restaurant and hotel excellent service food was delicious great presentation.. everything was very festive and decorated beautifully for the holidays I love to stay at your hotel even though I live in Staten Island... everyone needs a night out here and there
My first reaction when I requested a wine menu was questionable, the waiter was under pressure training and instead of handing the menu actually released it onto the table without handing it over to me, really rude. However, when taking my order for the wine and food he turned it around to a rather positive movement. That’s due to the fact that we asked him to serve us with a smile and pour conversation afterwards settled his issue, he was a bit friendly. Our food was ok. The Halibut was a bit over cooked, but the Lorenzo Fried calamari was excellent and a must order. Our desert was very good as well. Overall, my experience was good and ok.
My wife and I throughly enjoyed our date night at Lorenzo’s restaurant. Both the food and service was top notch, and we got to enjoy live piano entertainment as well. My wife and I walked the grounds after our meal where we were married 15 years ago....and it still looks amazing!!
Quite impressed. Delicious cuisine and reasonably priced. Recommended to friends. Not much nice buffet brunches left! Very enjoyable. Didn’t rush us!
Calimri Padella (sp)is great. So was the Base Livornese. But avoid filet of sole..too salty. We've tried a few times in the past but this sole recipe misses big time. Comfortable room. Decent Negroni.
It's easy to find an open table. Service there was good. The place was good. The quality of food was good. We got free wine and coffee offer which was unexpected. I will recommend my friends.
We went for an early dinner before a show. It was restaurant week and that menu was limited although you could order off the regular menu. We were not disappointed with the flavor though. Buratta and Lorenzo’s calamari to start. Buratta very good and the calamari was surprisingly delicious! Main was pasta for DH and he enjoyed it and I had the pork chop with roasted Brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes also very good! Both had the cheesecake desert which was average. Overall a lovely meal and the restaurant setting is very nice, we had a window table. Service was very good. Would definitely go back for the full menu!
Delicious food, great prices, excellent decor. Highly recommended.
Wonderful anniversary dinner. We got married at the Hilton 5 years ago and try to make it back and eat at Lorenzo’s every so often.
Delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Nice staff owners came over to check on us. Very pleasant. Enjoyed the experience.
Food was excellent service needs a little tweaking and it would be a 5 all around.
Everyone in my party had stomach issues all night after eating here. The food was over priced and it’s quality was so so. The appetizers were over priced as was the main course. Not worth the cost.
Food was very delicious
Perfect in every way possible! The Nicotra family are amazing in everything they do. I can not praise everyone enough.
Thank you so much for a well deserved; wonderful evening.
Good did not live up to it's usual quality. Ham very dry. Vegetables soggy, macaroni cold.
Lorenzo's was a last minute choice to meet midway with friends from NJ. To locate a restaurant with ambience, good food, and not so loud that you can't have conversation is a hard find. But we found it at Lorenzo's! And the live piano music was a perfect touch and added even further to the ambience. As soon as you enter, the servers are friendly and welcoming. As for the food, the olive bread and dips they serve as you are seated are delicious. Of the meals we ordered, the salmon and the branzini were the favorites. The appetizers and desserts were also very good. And I should mention that the portion sizes are fairly substantial. When the owners stopped by our table and introduced themselves and chatted with us for a few minutes, it added a very warm and personal touch to the evening. We had a lovely evening and agreed that Lorenzo's will now be our midway meeting point with our friends from NJ!
Tables could be a spaced better. To close to each other.
I had lunch with work associates. The servicer was very polite and took our order quickly. The food was fresh and portions were enough. I would recommend and plan on going back.
We visit for special occasions and are never disappointed. The Sunday Brunch is always great for our family. Servers are friendly and food is good.
Very romantic and love piano music ayi g while you dine
This was my first visit. It was wonderful. I will be back!
We loved it. As we were finishing our meal, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Lois and Richard Nicotra. They are truly lovely people and by the time we left we had met the chefs, the restaurant manager and the Vice President of the hotel. We felt welcomed into the family. Lorenzo's and the Hilton Hotel and Hampton Inn are hidden gems on Staten Island.
Been coming here for years, it just wasn’t as good as it was in the past. Hope it was just an of day.
I didn't love the fettuccine bolognese. The chicken dish with the lemon wine sauce was very good.
Food was good. But not good enough for the price . Average entree was $35 and not worth it.
The quality of Food was a $20 plate
Food was delicious. Staff was great. Highly recommended the Valentine’s Day special they offer as well.
Lorenzo's is definitely one of the best spots on Staten Island. The food has never disappointed, the service always above and beyond. Mr. and Mrs. Nicotra are the best. Their hotel is top notch and they expect that every customer is to be treated like family. I never get tired of coming to this fine establishment.
Always a good choice. The service is top notch! Good food with great presentation.
have always enjoyed restaurant especially on saturday nites when most places are crowded and noisy
We had a lovely dinner. Everything was perfect.
Food was disgusting and the service was inattentive at best. Complained about food and the manager argued with us. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
second visit for me; much less crowded than first trip. Early Saturday night seating - 6 pm.
Food and service are very good ; I will return .
