   Excellent across the board. We had a reservation and we were seated immediately, the server was patient and answered all our questions, every morsel of food was exquisite, and the wine suggestions were on point.

   Definitely a new Richmond go-to. We had a phenomenal experience all-around. The interior is eclectic and unique. Certainly nothing like it in the area and has such character. The staff were all extremely warm and accomodating. Devon was our waiter and he really elevated our time. He never hesitated to explain menu items to us and was constantly checking on us without being overbearing. He was a real treat and this is all before the food which was divine. As people who are not adventurous, we truly enjoyed the different options for us from the Fabrege egg, the escorgot and the Beef Swellington is truly chef's kiss and I do not use that term lightly. If you want a truly memorable and incredible night out, go to L'Opposum. We will be back.

   L'Opossum is always the best. Such a treat to eat here. We've eaten here a small handful of times but last night was the best! My husband had the filet, a perennial favorite and probably the best steak in Richmond, and I had the arctic char catch of the day, which was AMAZING-- such a unique and absolutely delicious preparation. Best meal I've ever had there, which is saying a lot! The service is always superb as well, and the atmosphere fun.

    The outside is unassuming for all the magic that is inside. The service was impeccable. I was seated at the bar since I was solo, and even there was the same service you would expect from table service. The chilled corn soup accented by VA ham and sweet cold crab. The lightly minted water was a delightful palate cleanser between each bite. I followed it up with pork belly with choux dumplings was divine and so filling. I had to skip out for dessert because I was filled to the brim with all the other savory masterpieces. Next time my sweets.
