Lone Eagle Grille
Despite an error whereby I had to follow up to get my points everything else was fabulous. The waiter was excellent going out of his way to help, the food was delicious The view was outstanding and they are dog friendly on the patio what more could you ask
We ate here before at the Christmas buffet, which was fine. We were a little trepidatious about booking this time because on that occasion we felt we’d overpaid for something that while fine wasn’t great. This time we were very pleasantly surprised by the standards of food and service. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were very good. Still a little pricey but this time the experience seemed to measure up. We will come again, just maybe not for the Christmas buffet.
The Lone Eagle Grille is awesome. This is my second visit here and it has been great both times. It is a bit pricey, but the food is delicious. Service was great also. I will be back next time I am in North Tahoe.
Great food as always. Service was very good. Serving staff was attentive and the window by with the lake view sunset helped a lot too. Very kid friendly as our eleven and five year olds enjoyed the experience a lot.
We enjoyed our lunch at Lone Eagle. This is our 2nd time there. The first time was about 1 yr ago in April when we had dinner outside. The food was delicious and the view of the lake was beautiful with soft music played by a guitarist. It was very relaxing. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.
Great place to eat. I only wish we dined during the day to see the amazing views of the Lake!
I made a reservation for lunch to celebrate my husband and sons birthday on Open Table. I added in the comment that we were celebrating 2 birthdays. We were from out of state visiting out son to celebrate both birthdays. No mention was made at all about the birthdays by the hostess or waiter. We ordered wine and wanted to enjoy a glass before our food came. To be fair we had to send a bottle back but it took forever to get the second bottle to our table. A second server had to open it to assist our waiter. While she was opening the wine the meal came. That was very disappointing. We felt there was no special attention to our meal what so ever which was a huge let down considering the occasion.
We had lunch on a Saturday. The menu was a bit limited but the starters were really good, and the main course a tad less interesting but still really good. The view was amazing, at a table by the window, overlooking the beach, the lake and the mountains.
Great service and food. Our waiter Billy was fantastic and so was everyone else working at the restaurant who helped to take care of us
Absolutely fabulous! The salmon with crab was fantastic! Wonderful place to celebrate my birthday!
Got a great tAble by a window with fabulous Lake and Mountain View’s. Waiter was friendly and engaging.
The Foie Gras was so good we went back the next night and ran it back. The bartenders were really good. We loved this place!!!
There were 6 of us in our party. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! I had the pork chop and it was the best I had ever had. Moist and flavorful. Definitely try it
We had an excellent experience and are returning this evening for dinner!! Thank you!
Wonderful experience.. Food and service were both outstanding. View of the lake is beautiful. Only negative was noise from very large party we were seated next to.
Excellent food and service!
Wife and I married here many years ago one summer, we still return annually in the winter to pseudo-celebrate our anniversary. The bison and the elk are fantastic, as is everything else prepared here. $50 corkage fee on the wine we brought, a bit steep in my opinion. A large selection of wines and dessert wines, we had port to go with our chocolate confection. For the ambitious, try the Bake Tahoe dessert, though likely you'll share it. Service is always great, the staff is accommodating.
Key tip: make your reservation for at least 30-60 minutes before sunset to watch the sun set over the lake as you enjoy your wine.
Great atmosphere and good food. Views are amazing. Love this place.
You made our 40 wedding celebration very special..great food, great wine, great main course, and great baked Tahoe desert that was given to us free of charge. Loved every minute of it. Will be back for sure.
Food and wine was amazing! This is a must place for any foodie in the Tahoe area!
We always love patronizing the Lone Eagle when we are in North Shore. Great Super Bowl Weekend with Family and Friends. Forgive me, however forgot out 'Servers' names, however they were OUTSTANDING!!!
Keep up the Five Star work and providing Exceptional Dining Experience!
Seated very promptly, sommelier helpful. Very noisy in round dining room. Wait staff did well with explaining menu and taking orders. Dinner arrived before we finished apps, table was cleared while one still eating. Pacing was off, felt extremely rushed to leave. Food was excellent.
We were looking for a nice view to the lake and ended up having an amazing dinner for my birthday... service was awesome, the steaks we’re delicious and the ambiance was everything we would hope for a ski trip. Will definitely come back
my meal wasn't what expected but they where very accommodating to correct and get me something different. Great atmosphere, great wine selection
Great food, ambiance and service. Live music in the bar was fun. Short ribs and linguini were outstanding. Would definitely go again.
Everything was family! We started with the octopus- yummy! Then I had the butternut squash soup - sublime! The bison filet Mignon was exquisite and perfectly cooked medium rare! Then, for dessert, the Baked Tahoe was amazing! I was incredibly full, but I finished every bite!
I've been going to the Lone Eagle ever since it opened many years ago. This was by far the best experience. The food was excellent. So was the service. And, as always, the view of Lake Tahoe, is the best.
Service excellent, ambiance very nice. Main courses very good.
Sides (brussel sprouts and spinach) only fair.
I must thank the restaurant for being flexible. Reservation started for 4 and at the last minute became 6. They were able to accommodate us inspite of being fully booked. Service was excellent and all of our meals delicious. One cannot eat here and not mention the breathtaking view at a sundown overlooking the lake. Nothing quite like it.
Food was good but ridiculously priced for Lake Tahoe. $45 entrees. Even more annoying was their $50 corkage fee. I have never seen that even at a Michelin starred restaurant in the San Francisco.
food was good, but overpriced. $50 corkage fee is outrageous.
Very Nice dinner for a very special Birthday, food was amazing, service Personable and Professional.
The ambiance and setting are World Class!
Overall, a perfect evening.
As aleays, the food was excellent. 8 of us each had something different and it was prepared very well.
We have dinner twice a year for 10-12 years and we look forward to the next dinner.
Thanks for taking care of your guests with great food.
Lamb tasted old, or dried from importation from somewhere else, too much cheese on farro and sauce on spinach was a little heavy. Dessert was pretty good, a little sweet. Wine tasted ok. Nice table by lake shore.
Great staff and the food was delicious. Not accomodating for reasonable hours for families. Even with a late night reservation we had to wait for 20 more min. Very noisy - partly from live music and tables are very wide causing you to lean in to hear your guests.
Friendly staff! Beautiful beautiful views! Wonderful place to celebrate my birthday.
Fabulous as usual. We enjoyed The whole experience. Bison Hamburgers & crab melt delicious. The crowning glory was the baked Tahoe desert, shared satisfyingly amongst the 3 of us. A great place to experience a getaway from the winter doldrums.
We enjoyed a lot
Lone Eagle Grille is full because it's in the Hyatt. Nothing else can explain why it's full night after night. The food is mediocre. Linguine bolognese tasted as if it came from the same can the tomato-&-roasted-pepper bisque came from. Fried Yukon potatoes were inedible. Baby kale salad and the sautéed haricots verts were fine, probably because the kitchen didn't do much to them. At least our kid enjoyed his bacon mac & cheese. If you're staying at the Hyatt, you're better off driving 4 minutes up to Big Water Grille, where the menu is similar but the food, service, and ambience are much, much better.
Visited Lone Eagle again on our annual ski trip to Incline Village. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Our server Roberto was great and really made our experience even better. One of our favorite restaurants and can’t wait to be back!
