Fantastic as usual. The best food and experience in the north shore. Hope with the sale to Ellison it stays the same or gets better.
Shame on me as it had been a few months since I had dined at the Lone Eagle Grill. Our dinner Sunday night was nothing short of amazing. The meats on the menu continue to raise the bar on what are exceptional meat dishes.
Thanks, Lone Eagle. You remain the top star for Incline Village dining!
Cory, keep up the great skill set in the kitchen. We loved it!
I can’t say enough about the service. They were very attentive with being intrusive. We did not have to wait long at all fir our food which is unusual these days. Sunset was gorgeous.
Biden Tenderloin is amazing!! Highly recommend getting it with crusted blue cheese and horseradish.
Tons of Flys in the dining room buzzing around our heads INSIDE all evening. High prices, just ok food
We arrived a little early for our reservation and were seated in the bar instead of dining area. In the future we would prefer dining area, our waiters in previous years seemed more attentive. We did have a new employee as an assistant and he was very good-- Jason.
Great food and service in a beautiful setting
We told the restaurant 3 times that we had gotten married right there 7 years ago and asked if we could have a window seat and when we arrived they said that they didn’t know and would have reserved us one if they did? We sat in the middle of the restaurant with a loud party 3 feet from us. I spoke to 3 people about our anniversary and wrote it in my notes but they told me I should have let them know. Then the food was disgusting. 15 dollars for one scoop of mashed potatoes? Mushy spinach in drippy “cheese” sauce? We couldn’t even finish it. 300 dollar meal (without alcohol) on our 7 year anniversary of getting married at that exact hyatt beach and we were treated as an afterthought and i needed to get a dinner somewhere else because i was starving after leaving.
One of the most tender steaks we’ve ever had! Delicious salad and roasted cauliflower also. If you want a table by the window, be sure to ask when you make your reservation. Excellent service from Jenny and her team! They even surprised my husband with a delicious birthday dessert - so thoughtful. 10/10 recommend.
We ate off the vegetarian menu, and having come here with expectations of a fine dining restaurant, we were greatly underwhelmed. While it was great that they had a vegetarian menu, the food itself was nothing to write home about. Okay food for inflated prices!
This is a place where you really go for the atmosphere. The food is good and I have never had a bad meal but I don't know how much of that is simply because the ambiance is so good. Make sure to go right about sunset to really get the best lighting and mood.
Great special occasion restaurant with a great view of Lake Tahoe. Get a reservation at 6 pm to see the sunset. We had the sea bass which was fabulous. Service was great. Highly recommend.
Thank you for making Mom’s 90th Birthday so special!
The staff were on their game, professional, friendly, prompt.
We had a great drink on the patio before dinner, and then an amazing starter (scallops are wonderful), and delightful main (pork chops were best I’ve had ever). Great wine choices (Syrah was great).
Thanks for making my wife’s birthday extra special with a window seat for a spectacular sunset over Lake Tahoe!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
We had a most enjoyable experience at Lone Eagle Grille! First, the hostess, Candace, did a superb job of adjusting our reservation time and giving us a prime view table in the bar. Secondly, the server, Hasan, greeted us in a timely and friendly manner which continued throughout the meal with efficient service as well. Jana, the sommelier, provided wonderful wine suggestions for our meal and the Pinot Noir worked well for all. The table assistant, Brian, provided excellent and exceptional service to fill in without being overbearing. It was a busy Friday evening and Brian made it seem like we were the only people in the restaurant. The food arrived with decent timing for a Friday night and everything was done as requested and to perfection. The lamb chops, the short rib and the pork chop were all tasty and even the chicken was prepared in a way you wouldn’t fix for yourself at home-delicious! The bar area at Lone Eagle Grille has a fun vibe and great energy, it can be a tad noisy for some folks, however we enjoyed it. We’ve also enjoyed the dining room with the same high standard of food and service within a more subdued atmosphere. If you’re looking for a memorable meal around Incline Village, you’ll enjoy Lone Eagle Grille.
We went here an hour after we were married so it was a very special occasion. The staff was overly welcoming and made us feel very special. We were so impressed with every detail and every person we encountered.
Very solid menu with some unusual items, like elk and bison. Very well curated and daily priced wine list. Lodge-like decor and, of course, an incredible view of Lake Tahoe. Sommelier and Server were friendly and competent.
We enjoyed our dinner, the selections were many, the food was excellent, and the service by Roberto was excellent.
The food was perfect, the service was excellent, the drinks were delicious and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Overpriced, and our duck dinner was not cooked perfect, waiter asked if we wanted something different but did not want to wait. The service was spectacular. Not much ambience, gas fireplace was not turned on, outdoor patio by window had scaffolding setup and unused messy table and chairs, also people walking through that patio area peeking into windows at us.
This place is amazimg and you wont make any bad decision. In order of my prefrenc:
You won't go wrong with the NY Strip Steak.
The braised short rib is amazing because of the items that complement the dish.
The Bison Steak is also delicious.
You have to make it there at least once, but then you'll justify coming back! :-)
If you are looking for a rustic elegant dining area, views of the lake, and top-of-the-line menu items, the Loan Eagle is the place to try in north Lake Tahoe. While the place is pricy, it is a real treat and should be a destination for one dinner when you are in Tahoe. While the menu is meat-focused, as a vegetarian, I suggest the vegetarian menu which has excellent offerings. The side dishes from the main menu also include some non-meat options such as the sushito peppers.
The prices were outrageous!! Food and service excellent!!
Delicious food, wonderful friendly staff and beautiful place to eat especially during sunset. I would have liked to see a vegetarian dish or two.
We had a very good dinner at Lone Eagle Grill in Incline Village. The service was excellent thanks to Michael and his team. The food was delicious - try the lamb chops or mushroom penne (if you are a vegetarian), followed by a baked Tahoe dessert, also wonderful.
Expensive, but the service and location can't be beat!
Lovely restaurant great food, very expensive! But we’re glad they’re open again!
Birthday dinner. We sat at a window table and watched the sunset over appetizers and starters. Then moved in to excellently prepared entrees. My only minus was the wine list. I felt it was a tad over priced for the range and selections. Service was wonderful: attentive but not hovering, friendly and caring
The food is very good but way overpriced for the serving sizes. Almost to the point of being ridiculous. All of the traditional main courses are served a la carte. $75.00 for an 8 ounce New York steak with no sides? Really? $29.00 for a two scallop appetizer? There are too many other fine dining experiences in the area to ever want to go back to this restaurant again.
Went here for my 40th birthday dinner, as reviews and others spoke highly of this restaurant. I had expectations of any casual, fine dining that I have been to before. Underwhelmed of the overall experience of food and service. The staff was not attentive, waits were long for ordering, getting drinks, meals and we had to ask for multiple items that had not been brought to the table. Taste of the dinner items were subpar, many items were overly salted. We skipped dessert due to the lack of attention and dissatisfaction with our meals. The location is stunning, but we may likely not be back.
We have eaten here several times for our anniversary. It never disappoints! Food and service is always outstanding and to top it off the view of Lake Tahoe from every table is outstanding. Book so you can enjoy the sunset over the lake.
We both enjoyed filets done to perfection with a side of potatoes that was plenty for two.
Cozy restaurant with beautiful view. Service and food excellent !
Made a reservation for 4@ 7:30 pm. The bar was full except for 2 tables. We were seated in the corner at a very dark table. Even asked for a candle… nope
Talked with the host and we’re moved into the main dining room after 10 minutes. The dining room was half full, no clue why we didn’t start there.
Having been here many times I typically liked the food.
Our dinner was below par, all four of us were very dissatisfied. I don’t know how they charge the astronomical prices for sub-par meals.
Outstanding all the way around! Only downside is the steep corkage fee $50 although they do have a remarkable wine selection with prices to match. Expect to pay top dollar for everything but well worth it.
We are forever customers at the Lone Eagle Grill. Thank you for your continued excellent service and amazing food and drink!
The food was good that night, overpriced, but my problem was mainly with the service. The night started with a poor experience getting seated. We were a few minutes early for our reservation and were told we would have to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready. After waiting 25-30 minutes they finally seated us after I complained to the hostess. They were not busy and they seated a couple of tables before us of the same size that arrived after us. We were finally seated about 30 minutes past our reservation time. This was a frustrating start. The service was mediocre, the server did not explain any of the menu items and seemed disengaged. The one highlight was that the sommelier. She was great and recommend a nice bottle of wine with dinner. The kid's menu was nice and the kids enjoyed their meals. The end of the meal was a bit soured. The waiter brought our check and promptly took it from us right after I signed it, while we were still finishing dessert. This is always frustrating and unprofessional. We were at the hotel for two nights and Lone Eagle booked both nights. After this experience on night one, we canceled night 2 in favor of an alternate restaurant. Lone Eagle seems to be on a steady decline for the past 2-3 years all while their prices continue to rise. The current value of experience is no longer matching the higher prices being charged. We hope they can turn things around as this used to be our go-to spot 2-3 years ago and have had some amazing experiences at Lone Eagle.
4th year in a row coming for a birthday dinner and they’re always accommodating, friendly and have amazing food.
Service was fine, prices very high, food ok. But why did they have to seat someone 3 feet away from us when restaurant was 1/4 to 1/3 full?
Food was overpriced and marginal. Maybe when they get enough quality people back to work it will help
