The food, beverages and service were stellar... only to be surpassed by the incredible ambiance and breathes views.

We had an excellent dinner. Every dish was wonderful! My husband had bison and a side of cream spinach, he orders that everywhere. He enjoyed both. My friend had the fresh halibut with a a potato green pea purée she loved it! I had a salmon rolled with crab on top, marvelous!
Lilly the sommelier was great. We had a great Sancerre with our meal. This is an expensive restaurant but we all deserve a treat once in a while!MM

All was a great experience and the food was exceptional!,
The transition from the bar to the table was a bit awkward as the server in the bar never gave us the amount we owed so when they came to seat us in the restaurant she asked if I wanted to settle my bill and not knowing the amount and who to give it to at that point made it awkward.
And then as should have been said in the first place, the woman seating us said they can transfer it to our table bill.

Amazing view, good bar, but food only so so — one definitely pays up for the location. Have a drink and appetizers, and skip the pricey entrées.

We have dined at the Lone Eagle Grille many times and have always enjoyed a lovely experience. That is why my Husband chose it for our Anniversary dinner. Our request for a table by the fireplace was accommodated, the ambiance was perfect, the service was friendly and efficient, and the cuisine was beautifully presented and delicious. They also surprised us with a complimentary dessert with a candle for our Anniversary. We highly recommend this restaurant for an everyday lovely meal or for a special occasion. Not only does the restaurant itself have a charming and inviting atmosphere, its setting is on the beach of Lake Tahoe amidst beautiful towering Pine trees.

Easter Sunday was not like years past. Over priced menu selections - the food wasn’t worth the price. My son’s cheese pizza for his lunch was soggy. How do you mess up cheese pizza? Our family has been visiting here frequently for years, but we will be revisiting other options after this experience.

I’ve dined at Lone Eagle Grill previously and loved it. This time was nothing great. Entry stairway is dingy and dirty. The service was poor. Nothing personalized. Waiter seemed spaced and inattentive. Very noisy. I was disappointed. Prefer Holiday Brunch buffet to menu.

Always pleased, however, this was the first year in 18 years that the Easter Buffett didn't happen. I was told that we were supposed to be notified of that, which we weren't, so it was a HUGE surprise. Definitely bummed and disappointed that the buffet is no longer and hopeful that you will bring it back.

This was Easter Sunday. We have been going for 10 years. Durning my conservatives with the restaurant , to confirm reservation and the night before to add a guest with my request for the ballroom, which I know is not guaranteed,( The ballroom was not open, so they at that time could of told me that it would not be what the experience has been in the past), I was never told this was not going to be the buffet, but a brunch. It was more like lunch and the children's items were not suitable, no pancakes, et. We were very disappointed with our Easter Day!

We ate there for Easter lunch. The location and views from the restaurant of Lake Tahoe are absolutely gorgeous. They do have a vegetarian menu, however don't assume those are also Vegan....many items are prepared using butter. You must tell them no dairy.

Very pricey menu but worth it for a special occasion. We had two waiters assisting us, one was very friendly - the other seemed a bit preoccupied and rushed.

Please note the restaurant is not physically AT the Hyatt Regency, it is just a short walk across the street on the lake.

We went with group of eight people (including 2 kids) for Easter brunch and a birthday celebration. The service was average, the menu was poor, and the food was average. The menu consisted of four entree items (eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, oatmeal, or danish basket) which was very under-whelming to say the least. There was nothing for the kids except their basic kid lunch menu. Everyone was looking for french toast/waffle/pancake, and/or other brunch option (omelettes, sausage, bacon... the basics). The bill for the eight of us was over $600 which seemed a bit steep, even with the great lakefront setting. Won't be going back.

Beautiful place and scenery. Unfortunately, my poached eggs were hard so I missed the nice creaminess of the benedict.

The Easter Brunch Menu was just an average lunch menu. Very disappointing. They did not have one traditional Easter item to offer. I do admit to not asking beforehand if they still had the fantastic Easter Buffet they used to ?? Come on guys, at least offer French toast, waffles or ham with your Benedict?

Ask for a window table when you make your reservation. Views are incredible. Lemongrass/Coconut soup was a fantastic appetizer. Recommend salmon roulade and chimichurri flat iron steak.

I was deeply disappointed with this restaurant. Been meaning to try it for about a year and it was just ok. The food quality is not proportional to the prices. We had a better meal at Austin’s down the street for a third of the price. Unless you know you will have a lake front table, don’t waste your time. Steak was over cooked, sauce reduction on the chicken was overly reduced and it tasted bitter with a caramel like consistency, French fries were actually undercooked and saggy. Do not recommend. The inconsistency of the food makes the price point a shame

Second time we’ve been in a row with service issues, and this time one of our entrees was not prepared well. It was short ribs - not tender and ‘pull apart’ like you would expect - instead tough to cut with a steak knife. And veggies weren’t cooked either. I pushed my plate to the side in an obvious call for help; waiter went by 3 times without even looking. I had to ask busboy to get the waiter when busboy came to remove my uneaten dinner!! They did remove the charge, but after the last dinner where food was good but server was very unfriendly, I’m questioning what’s going on with Lone Eagle...

We always enjoy Lone Eagle Grill. The service is outstanding. The food was delicious as well although my husbands filet mignon was rather boring. We loved the Ahi Poke appetizer. Only downside was we had a $300.00 gift card that was given to us in 2014. The card says it never expires, yet it was refused. We had to pay with a credit card and now have to return the card via US Mail to get a new one. This could have been embarrassing if we’d had others as our guests.

i ordered a flatiron steak medium rare, and it was BADLY under cooked. Even after i sent it back(probably the first time in about 25 years i actually sent an entree back)it was just BARELY medium rare when it came back out. Pretty inexplicable. We brought a bottle of wine with us, but since they had the identical wine on the wine list, they would not open it for us. i thought the service was actually very good, but the food pretty average.
