Great way to celebrate an office birthday lunch!
Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. Savored every moment.
The server did a wonderful job, the meals were amazing, cocktails were fresh and smooth, and the ambiance is outstanding. We were seated at the fireplace which is an excellent spot.
We arrived right on time at 5:30pm and was seated in a circular room right in front of a window that overlooked Lake Tahoe. It was the best view you could ask for. We were greeted by our server “Ingrid” very nice and professional. The food was served on time and experience was amazing.
Amazing, food, service & room/view
Was on a special date night visited from out of state. Had a 5:30pm reservation..... we wanted to sit outside(requested in RSVP) but said we could not (there was a table open that was not filled until 6:45pm).... a bit disappointing from that perspective. Besides that, the food and service was good. Just wish we could have sat outside to enjoy the sunset when told tables were full but were not.
Great meal and amazing view! (Brought my 3 children as well and was not an issue)
forcing patrons to stand in the parking lot prior to dining is pathetic. service was just ok, not as good as it has been on previous occasions when we have dined at Lone Eagle. Food was very good, but overall very over-priced for the "experience." Probably won't be back until substantial changes are made for managing reserved guests.
the Lone Eagle Grill is a special place in the world located on Lake Tahoe with very attentive staff, an excellent menu, and beautiful view!
Food was very good, better than our previous visit. Prices are high, but they come with the gorgeous views on the private beach. Of course, views are irrelevant after sundown. Sea bass was cooked perfectly. Lamb chops were yummy and cooked true medium. Poke was very good as usual. Octopus was a bit salty. Good Austin Hope cabernet. Service was exceptional.
Excellent- outside for the sunset can’t be beat
We had great service from the server Michael and his bus boy. We had a beautiful view of the beach and the sunset! The food was amazing too.
Staff and waitress were above and beyond. Thanks
Beautiful day. We ate outside. My sandwich was good. The French onion soup was not as good as in the past. I also think your wine is too expensive. You should offer a choice if less expensive wines. Usually we don’t have wine at your restaurant. We order a beer, because it’s less expensive
What’s better than Lone Eagle?!
It never disappoints!
Family road trip during fall break took us to Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. A beautiful time of the year (and quiet) and the Lone Eagle Grille was a perfect ending to our day! We sat outside and enjoyed the sunsets, cooler weather, food and service. We dined here a few times in the week. Food was great and consistent quality! Kid friendly options were good and quiet large for our 6&3yo but able to share. Staff was so friendly and engaging. Restaurant made us feel really comfortable during Covid-19 with masks, gloves, social distancing and outdoor dining. Gluten free options were available. Thank you to Agnes, Geri, and other staff that made our week that much better.
View of the Lake Tahoe sunset was spectacular! Food was scrumptious. Service was very good. Very pricey.
Ambiance and service was good.
We had a great experience & will be back during our next vacation to Lake Tahoe.
The service was outstanding. Daniela & staff were fantastic, very friendly & attentive. They made our experience memorable.
The food was exceptional, everything was just perfect. We split a Beet Salad & the Octopus appetizer. Both were excellent. Everything in our salad was fresh & delicious, the dressing was really good. The Octopus was so, so good. Not chewy but creamy like inside. We've had octopus in Greece, Japan & various restaurants in California, but nothing that matched this octopus. We will order this dish again, no question.
My wife had the Short Rib & I had the Bison. The short rib was cook perfectly, not greasy, but fall off the bone tender. Very tasty. My grilled Bison was excellent. My first time eating Bison & I found it to be tasty, tender. We both raved how good the bison was as we devoured the meat.
My only negative comment about the Lone Eagle Grille is the price of the wine. All of the wine seemed to be priced too high, maybe a little over double the store cost. This may be the industry standard, but I'm not sure. The wine we had was excellent, by the way.
This was our second visit to the Lone Eagle Grille & we will be back. This was one of our more enjoyable & memorable dining experiences.
It was great! Such a beautiful spot!
ambiance always outstanding and have been coming to Lone Eagle from the first day it opened. many many family memories! service has always been outstanding as has the food. good thing...you can dow get a decent pour of wine with your two choices of oz.
Noises bar music. Music louder than what needed to be. Place wasn’t that crowded. Way too expensive. Service was fine, ambiance nice
We spend our 25th wedding anniversary here and it was wonderful
Seems the prices have increased dramatically since our previous visits. The Chilean Sea Bass was too salty and buttery. The tomato and roasted red pepper bisque was wonderful. Sherry was friendly and personable.
I have been a steady customer for over 5 years and for the last couple years regardless how many days in advance I make a reservation I haven't been able to get any of my requests fulfilled! The people at the reception are not friendly and not customer focused. Definitely very less competent then previous years.
This is a restaurant to choose for the view of Lake Tahoe and the ambiance. Our entrees were disappointing. I had a $45 braised short rib that was tender but had no flavor at all. I could make a pot roast at home that would be ten times better. The pigeon was tender but again, very little flavor to speak of and the squash salad was too salty. The wines were very good.
food was really good, service was excellent and covid protections made us feel comfortable.
Great food, lovely atmosphere, Lake Tahoe view. Great place for a date or for the whole family.
Had a wonderful experience at Lone Eagle. Birthday celebration, they took very good care of us
Love Lone Eagle Grille
Service was impeccable. Food was fabulous. Wine suggestion was spot on. Overall a great experience.
Amazing! The view, service and food are five stars.
We've been customers for several decades, enjoying the place especially for special occasions and hoped to share the experience with a younger couple to celebrate the lady's birthday with a lunch. This time around both food and service were disappointing. My Dungeness Crab Melt, for example, looked nothing like the photo on your website, it was quite a bit smaller, the Crostini too hard and charred, very little dressing on the salad, which seemed to have been carelessly thrown on the big plate. Not one person at the table had anything good to say about the food or its presentation. As far as service is concerned, we had three different people "dropping off" food, not one of them friendly or engaging, let alone wishing our guest of honor a happy birthday. I can only hope that the dinner chef puts out food worthy of its price tag, because the lunch chef did not.
The waiters we encountered are in dire need of training. Their lack of interaction (interest?) and general unfriendliness run counter to the values of the hospitality industry. I am sorry to say that at this moment I cannot recommend your establishment to anybody.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. I love coming here, it never disappoints. A little on the pricey end but is 100% worth it.
11/10 would recommend this restaurant.
Host's are horrible and very rude! Servers were ok but very slow.
I have sent an email to the Restaurant regarding our recent subpar dining experience. We had reservations for 7pm, weren't seated until 7:30. The waiter took our order and we never saw him again until after we paid the bill in which time he asked us how dinner was. Never came to see if we needed anything, wanted anything else etc. We sat with dirty plates in front of us for over 15 minutes before the busser came and cleared, then we sat at an empty table before someone finally gave us the bill. The only highlight of the evening was the complimentary dessert the busser brought us for our Anniversary which sadly didn't compensate for the very lousy service. We won't be going back and have told our friends about our experience who will be staying at the end of the month.
The Lone Eagle Grille is at a beautiful location overlooking Lake Tahoe. It is a gorgeous setting for a special dinner or a nice breakfast.
The dishes are presented very nicely, however both main entrees were too salty for our taste. Be cautious about ordering the craft cocktails. Some use less common ingredients resulting in an unfamiliar taste.
In respect to the breakfast, the a la carte items are excellent. Unless you have a huge appetite, I recommend those over the buffet offered.
Our server was wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious! I loved the view of the lake while eating.
