Incredible meal in front of the fireplace. Filet Mignon may be the best we have ever tasted. Service was friendly and responsive, though odd at time (one waiter stopped by with an arm full of dirty plates to take our drink order. After we order a glass of wine, the sommelier stopped by to ask if we needed help with wine selection). A bit discoordinated, but did nothing to diminish the outstanding food and overall experience.

From start to finish the experience was wonderful. The service the food and the friendly and helpful attitude contributed to the overall experience. The setting on the beach at incline village was wonderful with a beautiful winter setting of snow and lake.

The food is good and the ambiance is terrific, but the prices keep getting more difficult to justify. Hardly a bottle of wine below $100. Most mains in the $40-$57 range.

Beautiful setting and environment. Food was delicious and service was very good. A bit pricy but that is to be expected with a steakhouse in Tahoe. My only complaint is their corkage fee is outrageous. $50/bottle. They do have an amazing wine list but at pretty bad markup from retail.

Wonderful food. Love many of their steaks both New York and Rib eye and lamb is some of the best. Love the service especially our favorite server Micha.
Only complaint wine by the glass and bottle very overpriced. Since we last time we dined there the Rombauer has gone from $75 to $90 to $109 this last visit.

Fabulous anniversary dinner from yummy healthy salads to tuna paired with superb veg assortment and aromatic mesquite grilled elk. Delicious. The complementary chocolate ganache with raspberry sauce was the perfect ending.

Steaks, service, and ambience were perfect - allowed us space to enjoy our food and wine, yet were ready to assist if anything was needed. We really enjoyed the time the sommelier spent chatting with us and making the experience special. Only downside was the scalloped potatoes and mac and cheese were flavorless and runny. I really wanted to like them, but couldn't it was a total miss. Also, it's hard to get beyond thinking we were spending $500+ on a meal+wine for four, but the sides were no better than a microwaveable dinner - not something worth sending back and making an ordeal about, but definitely something QC should look to elevate.

We'll certainly be back for another great steak and hopefully enjoy a better go-round on the sides.

Amazing! Loved Sherri and Doug! We had the San Giovese wine...mussels were amazing as were the scallops..Mac n cheese rounded out the sides...steak was delish..the blue cheese fritter was a must...gingerbread creme brûlée was experimental and delicious. The house sommelier was phenomenal and bonus points for outside firepit overlooking beach and lake:) we’ll be back!

Wait staff were very rude to my parents and aunt and uncle when they arrived for their reservation. They were clearly more interested in getting off their shift than providing service to paying customers. The manager should have taken something off the bill, but he only apologized. Very disappointing, especially for such a high-end restaurant.

Come for the ambience of one of the most spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and dine in the feeling of a grand Lake Lodge. Wonderful that the food and service are equal to the view. Enjoyed a caesar salad and small portion of pasta bolognese with a delicious pinot noir. My husband had a burger that he said was perfect. At the end, we split the Tahoe Alaska which is recommended. During the summer, there is additional outdoor patio dining.

The restaurant is beautiful but we ended up in a side room area full of lots of people, you literally couldn’t hear the person sitting across the table from you. The food was pretty good but the service was nothing above average, we found ourselves look for our server several times.

We had a great New Years dinner with our family. We have been to the Lone Eagle Grille many times but the service was very disappointing. We weren’t in any rush but the service was slow and lacking , more than I have ever seen in years past. Maybe they were short staffed? Anyways disappointing from what I was expecting.

New Year’s Eve Celebration started in the lovely, lively lounge. Bartenders were attentive and drinks were great. DJ music was engaging. Our table for 6 was ready very close to 9:30 reservation. Service was excellent. We shared several appetizers, sides and entrees. Scallop appetizer was outstanding, crab cake excellent. Trout with gnocchi is one I’ll have again. Ribeye and bison were both perfectly prepared with wonderfully inventive sauces. Lone Eagle Grill is a must whenever in Tahoe area all year round.

We went there twice over the Christmas/NY holidays. The location/views are very nice. Every wait person we encountered was outstanding esp given the busy time of year. Our dining experience in the bar was overall very good - just before Christmas. We booked 9:15 nye in dining room. Bar pretty raucous- it’s nye of course. Sheriffs lurking around - maybe 4 - why? Armed in a bar - with little kids dancing around with drunk adults - ok - to our nice table away from bar - great wait person - a man at the table next to us goes down - medical emergency or over served idk - lots of commotion- 2 of our 6 had to moce to accommodate the over a dozen persons attending the situation- of course this is not a planned event and we are happy to do whatever to make the situation easier but then they bring our meals - what - we ask them to wait til the emergency is removed from our table - should we have had to ask? The guy gets up and walks away as if nothing was wrong - ok thankful! They bring out our 6 nye meals dried out! Sat them under the lamps for many minutes. We ask the wait person to send the Mgr over - he literally acts like a spoiled child - counseling my husband that he was consoling the young child at the affected table - he was NEVER in the area and the table had left - so he couldn’t come to us after managing the event to offer us new meals - of course additional time - no he chastised my husband - we wanted to leave so we poked at what was edible - Mgr returns - pits his hand on my husbands shoulder - not in a kind way! And further shanes us abt the incident and says he credited us the meals served after the incident as if the whole meal had not been ruined by his handling of the situation. Idk what was up with the incident but I what I do know is I feel sorry for the wait staff that has to report to that very under equipped Mgr.

There are not a lot of choices on the lake for a meal that is a little more than casual but I would stick with the bar - more bang for $
