Lombardo's Italian Restaurant
Fried golden brown and served with marinara sauce
Egg battered, pan seared then simmered in lemon and white wine topped with fresh baby spinach
Breaded and covered with marinas sauce and fresh mozzarella then baked to perfection
We went there for our anniversary and they gave us the most intimate booth right across from the bar. The server/bartender was amazing and gave great recommendations on food. It was the tiramisu you will ever eat! The drinks were amazing! Overall a great intimate spot for couples. Make a reservation for sure and bring an empty stomach.
Great place with great food and ambiance. We had reservations and seated right away. Every table was full when we left. We had calamari appetizer, entrees included baby lamb chops, veal Marsala and chicken parmigiana. Everything was excellent. We are locals and chose this restaurant as one of our go to’s for authentic Italian cuisine.
Food was fine, service was very good. He was polite!
Place was very nice , service was excellent. Menu has lots to
Choose from plus daily specials. It was our 1st time here even though we live in Myrtle. We started off with a special appetizer it was delicious fried green tomatoes topped with Gorgonzola cheese & shrimp but was little pricey $14. Dinner I had vodka penne with shrimp was delicious & my hubby had the Lombardos feast #1 chicken & Veal parmigiana he said best he’s ever had you didn’t even need a knife , We both had salads came with the meals 1 Cesar & 1 garden was very good & a nice portion. We had a $10 off coupon which made it even better . We were celebrating our Anniversary. Can’t wait to go back .
Sorry to say poor service; front and back of the house. 20 minutes for a glass of wine, same for sweet n low requests, completely inattentive by Melanie the waitress. Simply things like table wasn't cleared with empty glasses, soup & salad bowls, app plates, and literally had to ask it to be so. 60 minutes wait for soup and salad, two lamb chops raw couldn't eat. Had to ask someone to help not sure of manager or not.
Simply, if your restaurant is under staffed, then don't seat over seat it. Paying customers want average service, always accept more but deserve the minimum. If a restaurant excuse is shortage of labor we should just deal with it, then why charge us full price. I would rather have ordered curbside from Olive Garden than to hear another excuse or experience this poor of an experience again from an excuse risen sit down restaurant. I would have walked out if I wasn't out to a rare dinner with my parents.
Courteous, attitude, and effort is all any of us paying customers could ask for, and deserve. Too bad.
Food was good. Our servers was obviously brand new.
Delicious food and specials, friendly staff
It was good . The food was fine, service okay but nothing outstanding.
Wonderful experience. Friendly and knowledgeable waitress (she knew the wines by number!!). Also great flow of service. Very relaxing. Food was excellent and plentiful. Warm bread and flavored olive oil excellent. Definitely a repeat.
Server was outstanding. Hostess not so much. Waited around to even be acknowledged then our table wasn’t even set up (had reservations ). However, our server, Kate, was outstanding & The food was perfect. Would come back. Just need the hostess and management to get it together
We were a group of 8 with reservations at 7pm. We were sat immediately. Our waitresses name was Fabiola. She was EXCELLENT! I would ask for her if I went back.
One guest had the veal osso buca. It was cooked perfectly and tasted very good. One hues had the Lombardo’s Stack. Shrimp and crab cake was very good. But the steak was tasteless and not as tender as expected for a filet. One guest had the lobster ravioli. Cream sauce was absolutely delicious but it overwhelmed the lobster. Unfortunately it just tasted like cheese ravioli in a cream sauce. Other dishes ordered were the chicken Alfredo, chicken parmigiana, lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. All were very good.
We would definitely visit Lombardo’s again. I do recommend reservations as they were very busy.
Enjoyed our meal. Melanie was outstanding! Only here for a few days but thinking about returning,
Everything was excellent !!
Excellent….Treated well. Love, love, love the bread dipping oil…One of the best I’ve ever had.
Wonderful food and service. Great evening.
Great dinner’s app follow by really good meals interesting drinks and good wine selections
Great food, service and ambiance
Having read the reviews before making a reservation, we had high hopes for a good Italian meal. The dinner went down hill quickly after arriving. First because it was a holiday we were surprised to be told the menu was limited. Our server was a bit harried and abrupt. We waited a while to order and get drinks. We split a Caesar salad, we’re not offered pepper or a second plate. Once the dinner came, she did not check on us again until we’d finished only to ask if we wanted another glass of wine. We were not offered dessert options. All the while we watched new parties arrive and wait quite a while to be seated. So our first impression is poor and if in the area we would not return.
We were unaware of limited holiday menu and what we saw on the website was unavailable. Very loud, both level of music and large parties. Food was OK. Six lobster raviolis in an order, not enough for a hungry adult.
My family and I are visiting for a week and wanted Italian for dinner. One of our Uber drivers recommended Umbertos in Barefoot Landing, but we also saw Lombartos online which had great reviews. Both places had high reviews/4.5 stars, so we compared menus and prices. We ended up choosing Lombartos not only because of the great reviews, but because the pricing was lower and entrees came with a soup or salad which Umbertos did not. We made a reservation online and were seated right on time. It smelled delicious, atmosphere was great, and we loved listening to the Italian music playing! We were upset to find that the menu was limited to the “holiday menu”. I would TOTALLY understand if it was Valentine’s Day, New Years, etc. but it was LABOR DAY... are you kidding me? Not only was the menu extremely limited - but pricing was more expensive than the normal menu online which as I said, was one of the main reasons we chose to eat here. I’m not sure why Labor day increases the price of everything on the menu - chicken parm is the same price every day of the year and it’s not like they were super busy or anything. The waitress also made it sound like soup or salad was also not included in the price of the meal because of the holiday which was also really frustrating (although I believe those did not end up being on the bill, which is still frustrating because some people passed on salad because we thought it was not included). For reference - website prices: Fried Calamari $9, Chicken Parm $19, Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken $19, Pork Osso Bucco $27
“Holiday Menu” Prices: Fried Calamari $10, Chicken Parm $21, Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken $21, Pork Osso Bucco $33
Essentially, we felt like they used the “holiday” was an excuse to screw us over and increase prices. Portions were small (pasta costs 50 cents - they could have given us more). I will say, the bread and oil was delicious, atmosphere was great, and our food was good! Our waitress was attentive.
My friend and I were celebrating her BD and we had the Arancini (Rice balls), Eggplant Parmesan and I had the House Specialty - The Seafood Trio with flounder, scallops, and shrimp with a lobster cream sauce. OH MY!!!! All of them were amazing and then we had cappuccinos and the Tiramisu and to be honest, I do not like Tiramisu, but this was the best I've ever tasted. Glad we took the recommendations of the server who knows! We were fighting over the finishing of it. Great food, a great server that reminded us of Scarlett Johansen. Even though they were short-staffed, great service and attention. Will come back again next time in Myrtle Beach area! Great Find!
Outstanding food and service!
The food and service were excellent.will definitely return
Very nice atmosphere and authentic Italian food right on the main drag
Amazing food and great service
Exceeding our expectations! Blue cheese gnocchi - unbelievable! The bread and olive oil dip was amazing as well!
Outstanding across the board. Veal Osso Bucco to die for!!
The blue cheese gnocchi were fabulous!!! Haven’t seen this in a restaurant in ages.. salad was wimpy..nice bread service with fresh garlic/tomato tapenade. Wines cheap but very limited selection.
Overall very good all around. We will go back. Veal Parmigiana was good; Fettitucci was excellent. Very cheesy; bread was hot, excellent, hard and crunchy on outside, soft on inside; Chix Rollatini very good; Grouper was very good
Quiet little place. We had the penne a la vodka and lobster ravioli that were both amazing.
The food was great, the service was great. This small surprise gathering and the staff pulled it off perfectly.
The bartender was amazing. She served us in the bar area and was so busy but still able to make us feel special.
Excellent food and service This was our second time this month and we enjoyed our meal. I am a CIA grad and just relo to myrtle beach. I was finding it hard to find good restaurants. I lived in Ct. and dine often in NYC best restaurants on the planet. Im a real foodie.
Go you wont be disappointed. I had the veal Osso bucco 16 once with marrow was so good. Bruschetta and Caesar's were great wife had seafood trio awesome lobster sauce Chef John does a great job Support your restaurants or they wont be there
Venue itself is nice, but food is mediocre. We had a larger group and each person ordered a variety of menu items and no one was impressed with the food. We were expecting a higher end food quality and it unfortunately failed at that. Service was friendly and restaurant itself is nice.
Awesome food, fabulous service!
So many places to eat in myrtle beach. You DO NOT HAVE TO EAT HERE.
Not greeted upon arrival, even with a reservation
Order take. And twice waitress had to come back to the table because menu items were ‘unavailable’.
Food is, at best, pizzeria quality.
We were a family of 12 celebrating a birthday. Made
Reservations the day before and only waited
10 minutes to be seated. The Food was delicious
And the service awesome. Would definitely go
Wonderful food at reasonable prices. Our waitstaff, Ariana made our experience so memorable! Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm for her job was amazing in these days of staffing shortages. I’ve eaten at many restaurants in Myrtle and North Myrtle and Lombardos rates among the highest.
