   My wife and I dined recently and had a wonderful experience. Our server was McKenna and she was terrific. She balanced the timing of the mail perfectly so we didn’t feel rushed. She was pleasant and helpful and answering questions I’m making suggestions. A calamari was a terrific appetizer. Very tender, not overcooked at all, which is usually the problem with calamari. We both had the Chiopini that included two lobster tails and an abundance of shrimp, clam, muscles, and scallops. It was very tasty. For dessert I had a chocolate cake that was terrific. My wife had a lemoncello cake. We both enjoyed our dessert. This was our second time at the restaurant and we’ve enjoyed both meals. We certainly go back again.

   We always have dinner here everytime we come to Myrtle Beach, one of the best Italian restaurants around!! O If you haven’t been there you must go!! They have a violinist during the week and a singer on Saturday night very good!, a great place !,!

   Since we were attending a late show, We used the open table app to get a 9:30 pm dinner table and Lombardo’s had those late options on the app. Unfortunately when we arrived, Lombardo’s appeared to be finishing up their service for the night. Very awkward. They gave us a table anyway, but the food was definitely lacking. The bread loaf they gave us was scored, but not cut thru. Obviously very difficult to eat. We had pasta dishes - spaghetti for hubby and shrimp cacciatore for me. Neither were very good for an authentic Italian restaurant. Disappointing.

   This was a wonderful surprise find in North Myrtle Beach! The ambience is dark, moody, Italian. We were serenaded by a beautiful violinist. The service was well paced. Our server was helpful snd kind. The food was awesomely delish! I had the seafood pasta dish done scampi style. My husband had the Lombardi Feast #1…a parm feast. The homemade Italian bread with OO dip was fantastic! The drinks were yummy too! We highly recommend this surprise find!

   I made reservations for a party of 8. We had a wonderful waitress, Hailey. She was courteous, knowledgeable about the menu and informed us of the specials that evening. The food was brought out in a timely manner, everyone of us had a great dining experience. One comment on my order: I had the steamed mussels as an appetizer, they were delicious but in the dish 5 mussels were not opened after steaming. I informed Haley. Overall , excellent! Made it as destination when in Myrtle Beach

   We really enjoyed Lombardos. The restaurant has a nice intimate atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was delicious as well. Prices are reasonable for all you get and the menu is extensive. I had noted that it was our anniversary and when we got there, the hostess acknowledged it and told us that they had reserved the most romantic table in the restaurant. The booth had a “reserved” sign on it when we got to it. How thoughtful! The waitress even told us happy anniversary! We absolutely loved our experience and will be back!!

   A $180 wasted. While we were greeted wonderfully, we were able to choose where we wanted to seat, and the first initial impression was great. However, it took a little bit of time for the server to come over to us. We ordered rather quickly our drinks in our appetizer and then we ordered our food. The calamari was subpar. It was not all the way cooked nor did it have any flavor. My husband ordered the maple bourbon salmon over rice, but they did have the sauce on the side because he was unsure of it. It was a good idea that he did that because the maple bourbon peach and pecan sauce was very clumpy. It wasn’t a smooth sauce and definitely would not have matched well with the salmon over rice. I ordered what they called their stack Lombardo stack, which was a fillet with a crabcake on top with three shrimp on top of that served alongside with asparagus, and I chose the risotto instead of the mashed potatoes. The risotto was good. nothing wrong there. The asparagus was great seasoned well tasted well. Sautéed well. The shrimp was OK. The shrimp need a little bit more seasoning but overall it was OK. The crabcake was a little bit overcooked, but it was still decent. However, my medium well fillet was overcooked and dry. We mentioned this to the server who appeared well about 1520 minutes while we were sitting there waiting for her to come back at that point there was no need for her to even offer to remake anything. This was a $180 meal that was so not worth it

    Lombardo's came highly recommended by a resort as a great place to visit for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. We were greeted promptly and politely and with a congratulatory greeting. After being seated our server took great care of us from beginning to end. And the food was amazing! We loved our visit!
