Head waiter/captain service was ok. Table service was quite good. Time from order to meal served very long. No reason for such a long time. Food was as expected - quite good. When leaving, no one at desk nor did anyone ask how meal was and if service was good. The waiter did ask and was very conscientious. Dinner was to celebrate 40th wedding anniversary. Waiter did great job presenting anniversary desert plate. Overall, other staff could use a little more professional training.
Amazing food! Impeccable service! A Cleveland treasure!
Amazing food and environment, great service. 5/5 restaurant!
Gotta love Lola. Even during these crazy times, they can pull off a top notch experience.
Don’t be afraid of the Whole Trout. It’s great.
We have been to Lola many.. many times starting at the original Tremont location.
I was surprised at the quality of our food. It was lackluster in every way. Not worth the price. We were accustomed to a much higher quality product from years past and were extremely disappointed.
Our waiter seemed annoyed with each request we made. He was simply trying to get us in and out. Not a smile or a pleasantry from him. Simply awful.
Been here several times. The food is always excellent! We love sitting at the bar, the bartenders are top notch. If you want a delicious meal, great cocktails, and excellent service this is the place.
Lola's was outstanding. We wish there were a few more choices in both salads and entree's. Food was unbelievable. Desserts were amazing. Sorry it took me so many years to get there!
It was out 20th anniversary and as there are limited options as to what we can do at this time in our world, I wanted to make it special. I had always wanted to go to Lola's so we planned the entire thing around it. We got a hotel room at the historical Arcade across the street, had a romantic dinner at Lola's, walked a block away and gambled at The Jack for a bit!
Lola never disappoints ... service and food are impeccable. Very good wine selection. Just a bummer to eat in a quiet restaurant ... can't wait for the food scene to rebound next year!
The ambience was great. Nice quiet and classy.
Very let down by the food. I ordered a $55 ribeye, and it was way too chewy. The mash potatoes were plain.
Our waiter was inpatient with us for our lack or wine knowledge. Gave us an attitude when we asked for sour cream, because our potatoes had no flavor.
The dessert was great though.
Dont think ill go back again. I'm sure I would have been more satisfied eating at the pub next door.
Stuffed Peper appetizer had 1 pepper that was so hot, it was not edible! My wife's scallops were not done, she did not eat them. Potato side dish was flavorless and some potatoes were under cooked. I was disappointed as im a big fan of MS. I would not go back to Lola's for another meal. Perhaps MS should check in on his kitchen!
The evening could not have gone better. The food was excellent, the staff attentive, and the atmosphere was elegant. All in all, we were very pleased to have dined there and definitely will again.
The restaurant was absolutely beautiful inside. My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic meal with great service and unbelievable food. I will definitely be back and I can’t wait.
Lolas is one of my all time favorites and it never disappoints. Always let the mixologist chose you vodka or gin for martinis or bourbon for your old fashion.
My beautiful wife and I split a roasted Romain salad the calamari and the whole pan fried lake trout. Absolutely delicious
Thank you Michael Simon. !
Good place for special occasion. Our waiter was very nice and helping for wine selection, he brought me a very good one for my taste. Everything was great!
Been to Lola several times and has always been excellent, this was first time since Covid and I was disappointed. I am a huge Micheal Sympn lover/supporter, our server was great but food was mediocre,
Awesome meal as usual! A cleveland Gem!!!
Decided to get away from Columbus for the evening and hit up Lola in Cleveland. Well worth the trip for us. Excellent service. Always there when we needed him and he kept his distance otherwise in between, without forgetting about us. Great relaxed atmosphere. Nothing felt fussy or over done. Food was delicious and well prepared. Great wine list. Cocktails were delicious.
Staff also made sure that guests were wearing masks when not seated as well which was nice!
Everything about Lola's was excellent. I highly recommend the fried brussels sprouts - the best in Cleveland in my opinion.
Drove all the way from chicago to try this place. I was definitely not disappointed. Service was excellent our server kevin was friendly, attentive took his time to explain the menu. The food was delicious, drink were outstanding as well.
Excellent service provide by server Tiffany. Seared scallops excellent. Swordfish tasted a little like grease from the grill. Brussels sprouts were also a bit greasy. Lola fries excellent. Pork belly appetizer was excellent.
Great atmosphere even during the pandemic! Tasty food and amazing service!
Really enjoyed Lola. Very helpful and friendly staff and service. Really good food!
Celebrating my 50th birthday. The ambiance was great. The pork belly appetizer and the beef cheeks were to die for! Seared scallops and their polenta, is a must. We will definitely go again!
The food was excellent, great service, good drink And wine choices. Would definetly recomend and come back again.
The meal was good but I expected more. I will continue to support Symon.
They did a nice job. No rush to get us out either. Appreciated that.
Top ten dining experiences of my life.
Absolutely loved every minute of it! Went there for wedding night date for the first time and it was absolutely perfect! Totally beyond expectations!
Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful food and service
Special occasion place. Tables were very well spaced so we felt relatively safe. Could have used better air circulation though.
Food was good as always. Service was excellent.
We really enjoyed our meal from Lola. We had planned to eat on the patio, but because of a maintenance issue and pending rain, the patio was closed; we opted to do takeout for our meal instead, as we’re not dining indoors yet, and everyone was extremely gracious and accommodating. (They do have very good COVId restrictions in place - distanced tables, everyone in masks, plexiglass surrounding and dividing the bar area into segments... we are just not comfortable eating inside yet.)
The steamed buns were very good, and the apple salad was delicious. The pork was nice but would undoubtedly have been more flavorful hot (not taken home), so we don’t want to review it based on our takeout. The chicken was absolutely delicious - so tender, terrific garnish. We loved the polenta and the smashed potatoes, and the green beans were very fresh.
All in all, the food was delicious, the staff was lovely, and we’d love the opportunity to actually eat on site another time.
We fell in love with the pierogis and French fries. Best ever fries. Pierogis for the very first time and best appetizer ever and we enjoy dining out 2-3 times a week. Top notch service. Hanger steak, smoked pork chop and pierogis have been on the menu since Lola opened and there’s a reason why - all 3 are fabulous! Presentation was first class. Overall a wonderful experience to kick-off our 4-day weekend in Cleveland.
We enjoyed a special birthday dinner here on October 9. In regards to Covid restrictions, we felt very safe with people masked and distances between tables. Our food was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to a return in the future.
This place had the most delicious food I've ever eaten from the appetizers all the way to the complimentary birthday dessert. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a personal experience and absolutely spectacular food.
Very well prepared food with excellent service. Lola is handing the pandemic very well.
Lola was everything we expected. My wife and children are big fans of Chef Symon, and this was her choice. We made the trek from Cincinnati for this experience and it was worth it!
Very nice. Food and service was great! This was a dinner to celebrate my boyfriend’s 50th. I did add a comment about it being his birthday and they surprised us with a cupcake and plate with happy birthday written in raspberry.. very cute.
I was super excited to bring my family here. I will admit I wanted to go here because of it being a Michael Symon restaurant. Bad news, we had to wait for an extra 45 minutes to be seated, so therefore we sat down at 945-950. Never did we get an apology from anyone from the management other than one free app for a table of 5. The waiter was the Only bright spot there.
The food was disrespected. Cold, bland and mediocre. Definitely a management issue. Again, our wait staff was the Only bright spot.
We ate out on the patio, and it was a very enjoyable evening! We had the pork chop and the scallops, smashed potatoes and brussels. Everything was amazing!
Just too pricey.
