lock stock and barrel
It was our first time there, we celebrated my birthday and we’ll most definitely be back! Service was great, and the food was delicious
Service was great, drinks were good, but the food was a bit cold. The crab also tasted old.
Amazing food as always
Always fantastic. The atmosphere is very nice, but not too stuffy. Excellent food and great prices. Never had a bad experience!
I ordered my sirloin medium-well and received it that way. The steak was juicy and tender. My Idaho baked potato was delicious and the sour dough rolls definitely had good flavor. The server was courteous and competent, coming around just often enough to check in without bothering. Drink was refilled as needed, dessert offered, etc. I will definitely return and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice restaurant with great food and friendly, dependable service.
The food was great. The service was great. The price isn’t outrageous. The live music was horrible though and really loud even though we weren’t seated in the bar. 3 stars because everything but the music was great.
Very consistent always a great meal
Best restaurant in Boise - especially for Lobster !
Hidden Gem! Not overpriced and it not to fancy so no need to get all dressed up!
Excellent meal. Loved the salad bar. Our waiter was great.
Rib steak at $35.00 should melt in your mouth not chew like a $7.00 steak.
Excellent Food and a reasonable price. live music was a little loud, but better than canned Muzak.
We love going to Lock Stock and Barrel! We have never had a bad meal. In fact it is always delicious. I can’t neglect mentioning the wonderful service. Everybody from the greeters, the wait staff, and the bar staff are attentive and just straight out great! Thanks for always giving us a great experience.
Friendly waitstaff; excellent Prime Rib.
Will definitely be returning!
Great salad bar. Good ole Idaho steakhouse. Nothin fancy but really solid.
Another great meal and top flight service!
The service was very good. We didn’t like the dinner rolls at all! I can’t hardly express how much we disliked them, I guess they were supposed to be sourdough but they tasted awful! However, our prime rib was good and I really loved the horseradish mashed potatoes. It was definitely overpriced but we we expected that.
It was a little loud but the foor was good and staff was friendly. Will go again
I’ve been hearing about this place for a while and was definitely understated on how good it was. Had a great family dinner here. Left full, with leftovers. Don’t skip the soups. They are SO Good
We had an early reservation and they seated us exactly on time. The wait staff was professional and very friendly. The food was very good and everyone was more than satisfied. We shall return!
The restaurant was cozy, the service was very good, and the food was excellent! Service was top notch, didn't have to wait very long for anything. The salad was excellent! The prime rib was amazing!! I recommend this place to anyone wanting a great dining experience!
Food was good with the exception of the stale sunflower seeds that I put on my salad. Little hard to scrape off in the dressing. Need to throw out after a certain period of time. Otherwise, food was delicious as usual. Service was also good and they surprised everyone with a piece of mud pie to celebrate the 3 gentlemen that retired from the Boise Fire Department within the last 3 months.
Went in for an early dinner. Was sat immediately. Service was fast and tentative. Had the mozzarella steak and crab legs. Both were great entrees. Shared a bottle of wine, pretty well priced. Enjoyed both the food and environment. Will definitely be back for food in the future!
Went for family Birthday, party of 6. Service was great. Our server put up with my picky mom very well. Got crab and artichoke dip.. was delicious. And the
Garlic Brie. So yummy. And I always reccomend the Smoked Mozzarella fillet. So, tender and delicious. Will definitely return.
Great service and great food.
Really good service and the food was very good, steaks were especially done very well. Great selection and very adequate salad bar, clam chowder needs to be a bit thicker though. Will come again and recommend it freely. Out of towners loved it too.
My family has not dined here before- our niece was with us. She said, “That was the best steak I have had in a long time”
Very good food, but the building and interior look like they were from the restaurant's opening in 1977 with no update in its 40 years.
Salad Bar was not fresh, meals were acceptable but lacked flavor and was overpriced for what you received. Service was good for the first half of the meal and then was terrible, no follow-up, lack of service and needed to wait for the the dishes to be removed and then wait longer to receive bill.
Overall it would rate the meal as acceptable, but there are better places to go to in Boise.
I brought my husband here for his Birthday and it was a memorable evening. EVERYTHING was so fantastic! The food is so delicious, we definitely overate but it was worth it and the left overs were almost just as good. The staff was very friendly but not hovering. It was a perfect evening. Thank you all.
Food and service was excellent.
We plan to eat many more meals there.
WE HAD A WONDERFUL EVENING. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS COOKED TO PERFECTION, THE SALAD BAR WAS WELL STOCKED. OUR SERVER EXPLAINED DIFFERENCES BETWEEN TWO CHOICES OF STEAKS AND DIFFERENT OPTIONS. MY HUSBAND HAD THE BEER STEAK AND WAS VERY PLEASED.
OUR WAITRESS TORI WAS THE BEST, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PLEASANT . SHE DIDN'T RUSH US AND WE HAD A GREAT EVENING.
My husband and I were visiting Boise for NYE, quality steak, great cocktails, great service, nice ambience and the noise level was perfect. Friendly and attentive staff. Manager made rounds checking on customers. Will go again.
From out of town and visiting family, it was great for a early meal with family.
No privacy, people can hear each other's conversations. Listening to the bar room noise is nice if you like the music. But, the overall noise was distracting. The bar should be separate from the dining.
Checkin it out.
Great steak and good service; we both had a petite filet, which were lean and tasty. The reason that we came was to see the New York Connection and they were awesome as always.
Reliable and good quality locally-owned steakhouse. LSB has been a favorite of ours for its 40-year history. I prefer the ribeye I buy from Costco and grill myself, but their filet and prime rib are outstanding. Also ordered in my group were filet oscar and rack of lamb, both very good. Being seated upstairs made for a quiet meal and great booth, but carrying salad bar upstairs was not a great experience.
We chose LS&B as our Christmas dinner restaurant. We were put upstairs, which turned out to be okay as downstairs was noisy. The ambiance/decor upstairs was comparable to a breakfast house. Our waitress was pleasant but nothing notable. She did her job. The food itself was not impressive or special. It was good, not great or wow. It wasn't a bad experience nor was it anything other than okay. I think we all expected wow.
We may be back to give it another shot.
