lock stock and barrel
Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:00am - 3:00pm, Happy Hour: 11:00am - 6:00pm.
Dinner: Monday: 5:00pm - 9:00, Tuesday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Sunday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm.
The waiter was new and did not know answers to our inquiries. Forgot to put three of the tickets together. The wait between the meal and dessert was WAY too long. The wait for our checks....even longer.
All in all a good lunch. Just took a bit too long.
The salad bar was outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection. It never disappoints.
We enjoyed an early dinner after The Lion King. It was a great finish to our day. The food was excellent. The service was great,
All great meal. Prime rib and salad bar. What's not to like?
Been going to LS&B since 1996. Still the best in Boise. Best anywhere.
It was a great dinner. It had been a while since we had been back. Wife had the plank salmon that was cooked to perfection. I had the Filet Oscar. Both of us had the Parmesan pototoes which were awesome. Good overall experience.
What a great dinner place. No frills just good food.
Best steaks in Boise , Friendly staff will be back super good food
Great as always. We always talk about trying a new place and then end up at LSB. The salad bar is a meal itself. We have never had a bad meal. The band playing was very good when we were there on Friday, 10/12.
It would have been nice not to have been seated next to a large group of very loud people. I’m glad they were having fun, but we couldn’t even hear each other. You need a side room for large groups so the rest of us can enjoy your awesome food and fine dining.
Excellent Steaks. As good as any of the si called ‘fancy’ steakhouses at 1/3 the price. Great good service and ambiance.
Wine list reasonable price steaks were good but not real hot. Causal but expensive
We love Lock Stock and Barrel! The food is always great and the service is amazing.
The food and service was a absolutely delicious. We love to eat here because we know that the food will be amazing!
Great food and really a good restaurant for us!
My only criticism, is that the live music was too loud. We sat upstairs and Had a difficult time having a conversation because the music was too loud. Although the music was good just too loud. The food and service were excellent
Great food, generous portions, and a great server who made us all feel welcome and cared for (Thanks, Sarah!).
While it can be a little loud and dark in the dining area, we have always loved Lock Stock and Barrel for their steaks, seafood and Idaho baked potatoes!
The prime rib is a maze ing!! Quick and courteous service, excellent salad bar. Their wine list is good as well as local beer
Great food and good service
Made reservations for a date night with my wife. Service was great, food was really good - chicken and steak - and arrived fast. We ate before the big dinner crowd. Would definitely go again.
My wife and I had a great time. This was our first time here and we would recommend it to anyone. Service was outstanding.
Just a really good meal and attentive but unobtrusive wait staff.
This is the best up scale restaurant
Great service,food, and atmosphere
The manager always talks with all tables 😄😄😄
We had a wonderful time and great food. The service was good. My only negative would be that it was too loud. The band was playing in the bar, so people in the restaurant were trying to talk over the noise -- which made it hard to talk at our table.
Just great food every time! Consistent! Fresh salad bar.
The wait staff was awsome very attentive and just nice people. The food was over priced, and had no flavor was not impressed with the 28oz cowboy cut ribeye. Minimal selections on salad bar and draft beer tasted bad.
The filet melted in my mouth. It was amazing. And there was so much food!
Been going here since late 80's and have not been to a better steak house in southern Idaho.
Food and service was good. Great prime rib.
Our food was as always delicious; my only negative was the asparagus was so over cooked it was mushy...very disappointing.
Both steaks were cooked as ordered. The soup was very good on this outing. For some reason I didn't like the ranch dressing. Not much flavor. Server was very good.
The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent. We came for a birthday preceeded by a death in the family. Our little 9 year old apparently told oir waitress when he was being escorted to the restroom. The staff was so kind and accomodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would come back many times over.
This is one of our favorite places to go for dinner and drinks. They play live music in the bar area for those who want a casual night of drinking, appetizers or full dinner. And the dining area is usually quiet so you can have an actual conversation with others at the table without having to speak loudly to be heard. Great service, delicious food and a nice, casual dining atmosphere.
Most if the meal was great as always. However, the author gratin potatoes were very poor, not cheese, nor were they hot. They were very uncooked. This was on Saturday evening August 4th. Our service was great as always. We didn't want to ruin our evening or our group conversation by complaining about the food so we let it slide that evening. We have had the au gratin potatoes in the past and they were delicious.
I made plans ahead of time on open table....love to see if there is availability without calling a restaurant. Had a great dinner with a friend, she had the lamb shank, I had the aged steak au poivre. Both were cook as they should be, came with salads and vegetables....and order the cow pie for dessert...our server was wonderful and the manager Jim is funny and makes sure we have a great experience.
We've seen Lock, Stock, and Barrel on Open Table many times but had never booked a reservation. I think it's because no one that I know has ever mentioned it as a "must try" restaurant. You typically hear of other restaurants in Boise to go to. This is probably because we are in our 30s and most of the patron in the restaurant are 60+. All that to say, we feel that we are older people trapped in younger aged bodies :)
Anyway, we took the plunge and are so glad we did. Our reservation was a breeze, our server Chelsea was sweet and on top of it, and the atmosphere was perfectly casual and comfy. The prime rib was fantastic (thick cut, tender, and lean) and the cow pie for dessert was bomb! And I can say that as weird as it is to have a salad bar as an option...I loved it. Their beef stew and clam chowder at the salad bar were also fantastic! We didn't have any drinks so can't comment on those. The prices were reasonable too. It was a Friday night and the live music was a little loud but very fun and great for all ages.
Our overall experience was quite perfect. It is our new favorite restaurant in Boise. We will be going back for many more times. Thanks again L S&B for a great date night!
Awesome place for dinner and drinks. Absolutely the best clam chowder in town! Prime rib is delicious and well priced.
This is the second time coming here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service was wonderful. Did was outstanding. There wasn't allot of noise. And music. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.
