   Food was fantastic! We went for brunch, had our table reserved, ate outside and it was wonderful. At the end of our meal, a large party came in and we could tell our server and the employees were doing their best to keep up. They did a great job!

   Our first waitress had a bit of an attitude after 15 minutes when she first came to our table. She went to get a wine list and sent another waitress to deal with us. The deck was fine, but the pile of cigarette butts just off the deck was not the best scenery. We've been coming here since Sol opened, and over time the food has gotten less interesting and less flavorful. We're at the point that we are likely done unless the menu gets a major overhaul. It's sad that the best tasting thing on the menu was Chips and Salsa.

   This used to be our favorite place for date nights and after going there last night, we will never be back again. They are now charging six dollars valet to park into their lot also raising their food prices and giving smaller portions totally upset and heartbroken over what this place has come to. We used to recommend it to everyone and everyone that I talk to now is on the same page and feels like this place is just going downhill. Servers are rude and very slow.

   Margaritas were bad, had to send them back. They didn’t offer to make another one was just asked if we wanted something else instead. Tasted like straight lime juice. Reordered drinks and didn’t get them until after our food came.

   I will start off by saying Sol was one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Willoughby. The service was not good and was extremely slow, the waitress kept telling us the kitchen was back up, the restaurant was only about 40% full. Our meal came out like it was under a heat lamp that they turned off. The appetizer took over 30 minutes to come out it was chips and salsa, the waitress never gave us silverware and was no where to be found, after almost finishing the app she returned to the table. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in a very long time, Had one worst in a three world country we visited on vacation. The manager was no where to be found. I blame most of this poor experience on management, tables left uncleared around us. We left very disappointed.

    Great service and ambiance. My only recommendation is a lunch menu with lunch portions. The food is good but it’s the same menu for lunch and dinner so it’s a bit expensive for lunch.

    Waitress was upbeat and friendly. She checked back often but didn’t rush us. I wish you had a gluten free menu so I didn’t have to ask about each item I wanted to order…….or a statement of which items can be prepared gluten free. All in all we had great meals.

    Food has always been really good in all previous visits but was sub par this time. The Cuban Caesar salad had stale tostone croutons and dry grilled chicken breast. Hopefully this was just a one off time since I really like this place and and plan on returning.

    The servers were so accommodating for my son, daughter in law and baby granddaughter. It’s a new spot for them and they’ll definitely be back! Food was great! Love the ambiance!

    The food and our wait staff were fabulous. We had a party of 3 with a reservation and they seated us at a table for 10 which we questioned and assured it would be fine. 45 min after we got there We had just received our food and ordered a 2nd drink when the maître d’ came to our table and asked us to hurry up because she needed the table for another party?!? They would move us to another table if we didn’t finish. I have never felt so pushed to chug my drink and wolf my food down. Sad experience because we would have ordered another course, dessert and drinks but left and went to another restaurant to spend money and finish the night.

    Had a special night with fiancé at Sol. Food was amazing & tasty. Prices were reasonable. Food portions were generous. Atmosphere was relaxed & fostered a romantic vibe. We were dining inside, so don’t know what outside seating is like. On this night, it got a little busy in there so service got a tad slow…but overall, it was good & friendly. It’s great spot to catch delicious food & have relaxed conversation; and then go explore downtown Willoughby. Would love to be there when the live music is performing. Highly recommend!     We usually enjoy eating here but this past Saturday was just not great. We had a reservation and sat at our table for close to 40 minutes before we were even acknowledged by a server. There was a lack of urgency across the entire restaurant. Other tables were in the same situation, with some other tables leaving due to lack of service. The food was delicious, as always, but we would have appreciated some sort of acknowledgment of our wait since it was excessive. The staff at the bar was attentive to guests sitting over there, so maybe next time, we will just try to grab a seat there.

    A few years ago I didn't have the best experience and Sol wasn't on my radar but after going again a few times recently I'm impressed. Not sure if it changed hands, new management, new chef or what but everything I've had the past two occasions has been great. Will be coming again often.

    Awful experience, at one point we didn’t even know who are server was we even made a reservation and we still wait 10 mins or so for someone to greet us . The food was the best part. I did order a margarita at the beginning of the night, it was awful. Another one of the servers said she would bring me another one, that never happened. Things happen I get it, at the end of the night one of the servers took the drink off the bill when I asked about it. I didn’t feel like a priority when we were at the table. We felt neglected and as if we were bothering every server who walked passed our table to ask for something. Won’t be back for a while.

    The appetizers were very very good. Had the special for the night, the rib eye. It was done perfect. The other three people that got the rib eye though, all were overdone. The other special for the night , a chicken dish was excellent. It was very disappointing though that the bar ran out of everything. Certain whiskeys they ran out of, Titos vodka and Pinot Grigio. Poor planning on that part.
