My family and I normally make a reservation at Local 22 when we’re in town. The charcuterie boards and daily specials make the dining experience really fun and tasty. And their regular menu is always delicious. Don’t forget the drink specials and the local beer selections. Top it all off with the home made desserts. Highly recommended.

This was my family’s first time eating here. The food was quickly made and staff appeared to work in unison helping each other. I believe they have a wealth of drinks and food choice. Our waiter was somewhat attentive but he seemed annoyed or bothered when he was asked questions. I’m use to staff coming back to verify all is well but this guy only checked to see if our food was there and we relied on the staff bussing the tables. Other than the waiter everything was great and I honestly think he was having a bad day or it was was just super busy. We will return though as the music, atmosphere and food was great. That would definitely outweigh the waiter’s bad day.

First time for late dinner...fun, lively spot busy at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night. Spinach & Artichoke dip was very good with generous toasted pita bread. Beet salad was fresh and delicious. Burgers (beef with pimento cheese and lamb with goat cheese) were generous and tasty; tater tot side was just so-so. One concern...the burgers were delivered before the salad (??) and when we asked the server he was unaware and not particularly apologetic...kitchen miss queue but his responsibility. Other than that snafu, his service was friendly and he was quick to offer refills on the iced teas. Would return on the basis of the food...especially the dip and salad.

First time visiting local 22 and really enjoyed the food, service, and people there. My only negative is there were cob webs and dust on the lighting fixtures above us so cleanliness could be improved. Otherwise food was fresh, hot, and server was kind..will be back if in the area.

I usually love this place, but the experience we had last night makes me reconsider going there if not sitting at the bar. After sitting down for over 10 minutes we had not see our server, though I tried to make eye contact with every employee that walked past our table. The gentleman that seated us was also standing nearby, so after a while we got his attention. He took our drink orders and said he’d send the server by. 10/15 minutes later, drinks arrive. Our server never checked back on us anytime after dropping food/drinks off, we had to flag her down each time. Subpar service happens yes, but I don’t think it’s acceptable at a restaurant with food stems at this price point. Especially if a tab comes well over $100 and there is an expectation to tip 20% for service that was than mediocre.
