Established in 1985, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18th century town house has, for more than thirty years, attracted many loyal customers. A relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menu and famous but reasonably priced wine list have ensured our enduring popularity.

We love this restaurant. The welcome is always warm and unfussy, the service is quietly competent, the food and wine are delicious. It feels like eating with friends at home - but in a historic space and with everything lovely being conjured for our pleasure. Thank you so much for creating such a perfect atmosphere.

“In Syrian culture, we can’t make any journey without first planning the food. If you decide to go to the cinema, you plan what you’ll eat. If you plan to visit your mother, you know that you’re going to eat. There’s no going out without eating something.”

-Imad Alarnab

Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours.
Highlights include a Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, the incredible BBQ Corn mixed in a delicious Parsley Butter and the unique Goldies Burger.
In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.

The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests. The interiors are cosy and vibrant, with contemporary decoration, terracotta warm tones and a groovy musical atmosphere. Goldies features a noteworthy terrace that fits 30 guests.

The cocktails were absolutely amazing, I can also recommend the Tuna starter as it was just fantastic. Same with the fish and chips. The tables are arranged very closely where we sat, so there was a little bit of bumping into one another. Overall it was great, I can absolutely recommend it!

Fast, fresh, and full of flavour. Our handmade pasta is served up in minutes, paired with great drinks and even better vibes. Whether you're after a quick lunch or a late-night fix (we’re open ‘til 1 AM on weekends), we’ve got you.

In Italy, Tavola Calda - literally ‘hot table’ - is where you go for high-quality food, served fast and without the fuss.
That’s exactly what we’re bringing to Soho. Fresh pasta, homemade sauces, good prices, no wait. Whether you’ve got five minutes or fifty, there’s always time for a proper Italian meal.

Please note that we are a fast serve pasta restaurant that provides delicious to-go dishes. We do provide indoor seating, but please be advised that tables are available for up to 45 minutes to keep that fast paced vibe going.

From the moment I stepped into Sola, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. Nestled in the heart of Soho, this Michelin-starred gem doesn't just serve food—it orchestrates an unforgettable symphony of flavor, art, and hospitality. The ambiance was a perfect balance of refined elegance and inviting warmth. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and an air of effortless professionalism, striking the perfect chord between attentiveness and discretion. I chose the spring tasting menu and every course was a revelation. Each plate arrived like a miniature work of art—visually stunning, flawlessly executed, and layered with flavor. It’s rare to find a place where technique, creativity, and soul intersect so seamlessly. Sola doesn’t just serve dinner; it delivers an experience—intimate, intelligent, and deeply satisfying. A well-deserved Michelin star and a dinner that lingers in memory.

Independent and family-run, we opened Mele e Pere in the heart of Soho in February 2012.

We are three brothers and a friend who set out on a journey to create a genuine neighbourhood Trattoria reminiscent of the fabulous family-run places of northern Italy, where we all grew up.

You should feel just as comfortable popping in for a glass of home-made vermouth and some sharing plates at the bar as you should taking your time to work through the menu in the dining room.

We cook our seasonal and daily-changing menu with British produce and exceptional Italian ingredients. All of our Pasta, Pizza, desserts and Gelato are made in our kitchen fresh every day. We have London’s largest selection of Vermouths behind our bar and our exclusively Italian wine list has loads of options for you available by the glass.

Haven't been to Firebird for a while but it was as good as I remembered. Stunning food and super friendly service and unusual but delicious wine and a beautiful space - and did I mention the incredible food? It is expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Strongly recommend.

We had previously been here before and really enjoyed it. This time we came back and took my mum for a special meal. We booked through open table and I mentioned it was a special occasion on the booking but when we arrived there was no specific table booked for us and it was just kind of sit where ever but the problem was there wasn’t much space so there was confusion and it was slightly stressful finding a suitable table. Food was good - atmosphere nice. Service all I’d say is bring the drinks with the food, as we had to chase up but overall I’d say food was great if not a bit expensive but that’s what we expected. Waiters were polite. Advice would be to try elevate the stress for your customers where possible
