At Bolero the customer is in charge of the timing on our wide selection of churrasco(skewers) to be brought to your table by our Gaucho Chefs. Green means go and Red means stop. A perfect setting for any festive occasion as we offer a wide range of different, cocktails, wine, and beer. Dining with friends and family was meant to be fun, the Brazilian way!

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

Had heard good things but had yet to try, went for our anniversary. Service from Kitty was excellent. Mocktail menu was great, as was the brown butter old fashioned. Food was top notch, we had the charcuterie board, my wife had the pecan chicken and I had the daily fresh fish (Halibut) and all were delicious. The meal was topped off with the lavender cheesecake which was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palette for a steakhouse. We broke the mould and decided to add hand-selected music that reflects us! We’re more like Jay Z and less like Sinatra.

We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put in to produce our beef.

We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.

We use a 1800 degree Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on the outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

We've been coming to Rimrock for years to celebrate special occasions, and it never disappoints. Last night, we were there to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary, and the experience was as memorable as ever. The restaurant was featuring its spring set menu, and we absolutely loved the variety of dishes it offered. The rack of lamb remains our all-time favorite — perfectly cooked and flavorful. We also tried the duck breast for the first time, and it was incredibly tasty. The ambience was warm and inviting, making the evening even more special. A huge shoutout to our server, Raul, who was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. My mom’s favorite cocktail, Dark Side of the Moon, is no longer on the menu, but Raul and the bartender went out of their way to recreate a drink she ended up loving just as much. She was absolutely delighted, and it really added a personal touch to the night. Rimrock continues to be our go-to for meaningful celebrations, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We went to Blu on Avenue Road for our 3rd anniversary dinner and had a quiet romantic table on the ground floor. Staff went out of their way to explain the menu and our choices. It was clear that they were very loyal and loved their jobs and the place. They did give us some quiet time too. Then we were told the restaurant was about to close because of a huge rent increase at their lease renewal. We hope the new location opening on King Street West will come close to the beautiful spacious building on Avenue Road. Even if it does not we will be there because the food and service is so good. We each had an amazing scallop appetizer and we were glad we did not split it and had our own. For main courses the pasta, lamb and beef tenderloin were cooked to perfection. We were too full for ordering dessert but they brought a tiramisu to share and we were able to finish before leaving happy. We can’t wait to return to the new location in May.

This past visit I ordered the Lobster Linguini and all the lobster was very tough and hard to chew. I did not complain as it was a birthday dinner for my guest. The star of the night was the lemon meringue; hands down the best I’ve had in Toronto. I’ve also heard great things about their pasta and pizza, so that might be the better route next time. Overall: Exceptional service, amazing drinks and desserts, but the main courses need some serious refinement. Worth a visit for the ambiance and cocktails alone.

At Horseshoe Valley for the day and was looking for a good meal without having to go back to Barrie. We are so glad we decided to try Ktchn. Weather was perfect for the patio, there was live music, (for a Monday?). The staff was attentive and the food was fabulous. We will definitely be back when in the area.
