Es imposible mencionar gran dim sum en San Francisco y no escuchar sobre Yank Sing, fundado por Alice Chan en 1958. Su hijo Henry empezó haciendo dumplings a la edad de 9 años y mudó el negocio a 49 Stevenson en 1974 donde se convirtió en un favorito instantáneo en el distrito financiero. Hoy en día, la tercera generación de los Chan, continúa la tradición familiar, creando cerca de 100 artículos cada día para lanzar en los carritos que los contienen.

Una de las mejores cosas sobre Yank Sing es la amplia gama de dim sum tanto tradicionales como modernos, conocida como la \"colección creativa.\"
