40th wedding anniversary dinner. Went with the 6 course menu with fine wines, excellent from start to finish. Very knowledgeable waiters and sommeliers on the food and wine. Location really outstanding. Well worth the money to help celebrate with the one(s) you love and care for.

Ikoyi is one of last year’s most critically acclaimed
openings. The ever-evolving menu uses West
African ingredients to create unique dishes. All are
carefully created by Head Chef and Co-founder
Jeremy Chan whose experience in the kitchens at
Noma, Hibiscus and Dinner shines through. Co-founder
Iré Hassan-Odukale’s memories of growing
up in Nigeria are the birthplace of Ikoyi, from which
Jeremy’s ideas explode out.
Jeremy has used his fascination with flavour
optimisation to create a truly exciting menu, where dishes
take on a strong visual identity through a focus on
the geometry, texture and colour of the ingredients
on the plate. The signature Buttermilk Plantain &
Smoked Scotch Bonnet, is one of Ikoyi’s best-sellers
and a true destination dish.

The first dish that arrived—wow. As soon as I took that first bite, I was hit with a stunning combination of flavours that exploded in my mouth. It instantly reminded me of that iconic moment from Ratatouille, where the other mouse is told: “Slow down. Chew. Taste. Don’t rush.” That’s exactly how it felt—like time paused so I could truly savour it. The staff were spot on—attentive, warm, and seamless in how they helped everything flow. But honestly, words barely do the food justice. You simply have to taste it yourself to understand. I saved up and waited years to finally go just kept saying ahh not paying that much for food i was wrong its worth it and now I just wish I hadn’t hesitated so long. Every element was executed perfectly. The dishes weren’t just meals—they were like a little food heaven opening up in my mouth. The timing for each dish was perfect to hold my beer to all chefs and hospitality staff its not easy job av tried it 🍺

Excellent food and will be back. We were steered that the smallest of the small plates we would be better with 2 portions for 3 of us of those (Piri piri chicken, cod cheeks with curry) though in hindsight 1 of each was plenty for 3 in a portion of you are looking to try as many different dishes as possible. Great restaurant and one have been wanting to try for ages

The food was fantastic, and the place itself is one of my favourites. It is so relaxing and warm. This time we were very disappointed with the service, it got worse. There was no communication between the waiting staff. Everybody was very nice, especially the manager but we waited a long time for our drinks which didn't arrive at the same time. this continued throughout the whole meal.

Fergus Henderson’s original home of “Nose to Tail Eating” opened in a former smokehouse around the corner from Smithfield Market in 1994.

Celebrating the finest of indigenous British produce and making the most of what is seasonally best whilst applying straight forward cooking techniques, St. John is now celebrated as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World and in 2009 was awarded its first Michelin Star.

Nose to tail eating means that, where appropriate, every part of the animal should be put to good use in the kitchen and so along with Roast Beef and Lemon Sole, diners will find Rolled Pig’s Spleen, Kidneys and Ox Heart, Liver and Chitterlings as well as the Roast Bone Marrow & Parsley Salad, something of a ‘signature’ dish.

Bruce Poole and Nigel Platts-Martin opened Chez Bruce in 1995. From the outset, it was their intention to serve the very best food and drink but within a relaxed, informal yet thoroughly professionally orchestrated environment.
At Chez Bruce we are not particularly into gadgets and tricks in the kitchen. Home-made charcuterie, slow cooked braises, offal, warm and cold salads, classical desserts and bread-making could be listed as specialities. We also take the cheese board very seriously indeed and it forms an integral part of the restaurant's day-to-day life.
The Directors of the restaurant are fanatical wine-lovers and are very proud of the restaurant's wine list which truly is one of the very best in the UK.

At Restaurant Story the premise is simple; we seek to tell our story through the food we serve.

We opened in April 2013 gaining our first Michelin star only five months after opening and in 2021 we were awarded our second Michelin star. Finally in 2023 we launched Story 3.0 hosting a 2nd floor.

Inspired by chef Tom Sellers’ culinary career and the history of British food, our dishes are an edible story, each one inspired by a memory. We want to share these memories with you through what you see, smell and taste.

To help achieve this, we select only the freshest seasonal British produce and then pair it with an exclusive wine list featuring small wine producers and select British craft ales sourced locally.

The 2 of us dined on the lunch menu in june. First and foremost every single course we ate was tasty. That is the most important thing in any restaurant. Secondly the service was outstanding, a true masterclass in exceptional high quality service, paired with friendly, jovial and familiar hospitality. We had many different team members interact with us throughout the meal and all of them seemed happy, engaged and enjoying their work. The lunch menu fed us 3 types of canapé to start, with the gougere being the stand out. Next we had a tomato consommé, absolutely delicious and really got our appetite going. Next came the bread, Parker house roll, it tastes heavenly and was by far the best bread I’ve ever had. I would return to the restaurant for the bread alone. I had the scallop which was beautifully cooked and presented. Next we had the chicken which whilst tasty, didn’t quite wow the tastebuds as much as previous courses. For dessert, the strawberry millefuille, light, fresh, fragrant and the perfect end to a meal. Delicious petit fours followed including a very well made and tasty chocolate with caramel and toasted buckwheat. The wine flight at £45 was spot on, great choices by the sommelier. For £125 I think the lunch menu represented great value and a wonderful afternoon

Michelin starred Frog by Adam Handling is a place to really submerge yourself in a theatrical show. You’re facing the kitchen, the chefs come to your table and you are able to really interact with every member of the team. Frog is luxury in an environment where you feel comfortable being whoever you are and where all elements in the restaurant are connected to offer a truly memorable experience.

The dishes are very emotional and they all mean something to Adam. Each and every one of the dishes has a story behind it, whether it’s a memory from Adam’s childhood or something that has inspired him or the team.

Trying a new style of dining with shared dishes for all three courses was not only a brilliant way to try new and really tasty dishes but, at £21 per head for three courses, excellent value for money. Nick and his team are doing an amazing job and we can only say how delighted we were with this new dining experience which would have satisfied the largest of eaters. We just couldn't manage to eat everything, there was just so much outstanding food on offer. The crackling was unbelievable being the crispiest and tastiest we have ever been served. Do please try it!

A hidden gem (even when you know where to look for it apparently!). The staff were very attentive and welcoming, even writing a note to say happy anniversary signed by all the members of the team. We were a little disappointed that the menu didn't contain many of the fish dishes which the menu is renowned for, as there was no fresh fish over new year, but the replacements were delicious.

Since 2008 the Seahorse has been a place to gather for conversation and debate and to enjoy the local seafood, it has a special warmth, spirit and welcome. The entrance is through Joe’s bar, a small and intimate space to pass through and enjoy an aperitivo on your way to the table. Opposite the bar is The Cantina, our private room at the Seahorse where friends and family can gather to celebrate and enjoy a dedicated menu and one of our chefs preparing it exclusively for the table. We have a love of Italian food, it underpins how we think what we cook each day. Fish is delivered to the restaurant twice a day from Brixham, just a few miles away, menus can change throughout the day according to availability. The kitchen respect this freshness with simple preparation. Grilling fish over a charcoal fire has long been a speciality at the Seahorse as have pastas, rice and stews in the style and flavour you would find in many coastal Mediterranean restaurants.

Unique, imaginative fine dining at just the second ever restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star in Nottinghamshire. Alchemilla serves elevated veg-centric British dishes alongside meat and wines in a stylish, brick-clad venue. The restaurant occupies six arches in a Victorian carriage house once owned by wealthy lace merchants, and Alchemilla today blends this historical setting with expressive modern cuisine from celebrated chef-owner Alex Bond.

Gymkhana is inspired by the elite clubs of India where members of high society socialise, eat, drink and play sport.

The restaurant is split over two floors each with their own distinctive look and feel. The Ground Floor is resplendent in tones of jade green, polished dark timber and rich printed fabrics inspired by residential mansions of Kolkata and Pondicherry.

A walk down the mirrored staircase will take you through to the Lower Ground Floor - a room with a vivid and warm colour palette with subtle elements of north Indian architecture woven into the design.

Café Deco is a restaurant & wine bar in Bloomsbury. We serve classic, broadly European food, with a focus on the best possible ingredients. To keep in step with the seasons - and to keep life interesting - we change our menu every week. And we do the same with our wines too - sourcing the most delicious bottles we can find from small producers who work with minimal intervention, sustainably and with respect for the land and the vine. Our list is always changing and we love nothing more than to help you pick the perfect thing to drink.

Nestled in our little corner of central London, our terrace buzzes on warm sunny days into the evening and inside hums to the sound of conversation all year. We want you to feel welcome, looked after and at home.

Trivet derives from the age-old cooking utensil - an iron tripod placed over fire to support a cooking pot or kettle - reflecting the warmth and balance which forms Head Chef Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal’s values for the restaurant, as well as their working relationship.

From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. The menu features their explorations of ingredients, dishes and drinks from around the world, inspired by the culinary history and diversity around us. The wine list is set out chronologically, following the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producers to the New World, as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.

As well as the welcoming main dining room, Trivet has a terrace, wine bar and private dining space. Join us also for Mondays at Trivet Wine Bar!

When you come to Opheem, you get an insight into the inner workings of my mind. We’re striving to push the boundaries with Indian flavours, but with cooking techniques from all over the world, some traditional, and some very modern. At Opheem, I’ll be using the same paints as I’ve always done, to create a very different picture, on a very, very different canvas. Why? Because to evolve and adapt is what makes us human, and cooking is what sets us apart from the animals.
