The whole experience was wonderful. We celebrated my husband’s birthday. The lobster tails were amazing. The service was impeccable. You can tell the servers love their job. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable and answered all questions about the menu. It was a delightful evening.

We went to Baker Street for their Savor Fort Wayne deals. Our meals were excellent and the service was perfect. When we asked to be moved from the table where we had been placed right in front of the door to the restaurant (and much cold air), we were easily moved to one further from the entrance. Excellent dining experience. Food was just what we hoped it would be and our server was outstanding.

I ordered the scallops which were not nearly as fresh or as tasty as the raw oysters. My husband’s Steak (Petite Filet) was worth the price, tender, juicy and melted in your mouth. The lobster mac and cheese, the cream corn and the asparagus, as well as the crème brûlée were great. The drinks we mixed really well and the calamari was tender. Our server was less than optimal. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday with our daughter and our son in law. They highly recommended Bookbinders for the food and the service. They agreed that the server was not having her best day. They said usually they wipe the crumbs, present the food well, explain and make recommendations from the menu and your table doesn’t usually have a lot of empty plates left behind, and that your water is always full. This was not the experience we have on a very cold Tuesday night. It didn’t appear to be overly busy, so unsure why our service was not what is usually experienced. We don’t mind paying the price, but with the price comes a level of expected service for the experience which we did not get.

Best restaurant in all of RI! The staff are tremendous especially our waiter Dan. The prices are far less expensive for the same meal in Paris or NYC. They have amazing soufflés and fabulous cocktails like the French martini. Go asap you won’t regret it!

The Folk’s Folly story began in 1977 with unconventional origins, as the best stories often do.

Native son Humphrey Folk, Jr. was a prominent and shrewd developer, whose hard work carried him all over the country, cultivating his sincere appreciation of food and fine wine.

Undaunted by a complete lack of restaurant or culinary experience, he decided to convert a quaint and intimate house into a small eatery. His peers offered little encouragement, so he added the word “folly” to his own name, and Memphis’ Original Prime Steak House was born.

With only a gentleman's handshake to signify agreement, Humphrey Folk welcomed famed Memphis restaurateur Thomas Boggs as managing partner of Folk's Folly in 2003.

This partnership built the bridge to the next generation and Folk's Folly Prime Steak House remains a family affair.

I had a great experience at the Franklinville Inn. The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the prime rib, which was cooked perfectly. The baked potato and mushrooms I ordered as sides were delicious. The service was spot on as usual. I will definitely return and highly recommend the Franklinville Inn.

If you are visiting the Boone / Banner Elk / Blowing Rock area for the first time, this place is kind of a must-visit just because it's so on-brand. Shulls Mill Rd (the winding mountain road you drive to get there) is not for everyone, but for those of us who live here it's "just another road." Just don't have too much to drink, or you'll regret it on the drive home. The menu is suitably mountain-like, with offerings like emu, elk, bison, trout, etc. and quite honestly I'd give the place much higher reviews if they just didn't price the entrees so high. This is a lovely place to go for dinner, but it's not *actually* worth ballpark $133 per person including tax, tip, one cocktail and one glass of wine per guest. At $90, I'd feel like they've nailed it. The food is well prepared, if not five-star. But this is also the middle of High Country, and we're here not for ultra-high-end gourmet, and so this is a "fancy mountain" place if there even is such a thing. If you want true high cuisine, stick with Gideon Ridge or Artisinal.

I took my parents here for my Dad’s Birthday dinner and it was fantastic. The manager made sure we enjoyed our table, both he and our server checked back on service and our meals, everything was perfect. From apps, to entrees to dessert it was 10/10.

What is not to love about this iconic restaurant nestled in a little Palm Springs nook at the foot of the mountains! The intimate rooms and patio, the beautiful bar, the fireplaces, just exquisite! Then there is the amazing wait staff; in our case headed by Mark, who was most attentive but never intrusive, dressed impeccably, as were they all. The wine list is incomparable, and starting off our evening with a glass of Veuve was perfect! Then there's the menu which is inventive and perfectly varied for every palate, so we all had the most scrumptious, well timed, beautifully presented courses. Our souffle was heaven too. Go, enjoy, bask in every pleasure this wonderful jewel has to offer!

The steaks at Lewnes are second to none. I come here annually for my birthday with my daughters and get a filet mignon every time. It tastes amazing, is consistent and tender, and they have very generous portions. The simple elegance of the atmosphere is comforting and refreshing. Everything about this property is gracious and welcoming. The buildings and landscaping are unique and very well done. I took a friend to Lon’s to celebrate her birthday. We both enjoyed delicious salads. She ordered the Sonoran Salad and she enjoyed every bite! I ordered the Caesar Salad and added chicken. It too was delicious and the portion was so big that I took half home for dinner! The ambiance at Lon’s is beautiful inside and out and the service is exceptional.

My wife and I had a fabulous date night tonight. Being recognized by the front end staff is always such a pleasure. The friendliness of everyone makes us feel very special. I started with oysters, which were excellent followed by chophouse salads for both of us. My wife had the lobster/crab bisque soup and I had a perfectly cooked filet. We shared glazed carrots which were very tasty. Our usual waiter, Larry, always makes us feel special. The entire staff made sure that our every needs were done to perfection.

We dined again at Montalcino tonight and it was fantastic! The cozy atmosphere set the perfect tone, while the food was exceptional—fresh pasta and perfectly prepared lamb shanks. We had a filet and salmon and they were spectacular. Service was top notch - like over the top good service. We dressed up for a birthday celebration but you could also just enjoy a casual dinner here. The al a carte pricing makes it a little more on the expensive side but the sides were big enough to share. We loved our dinner and will return.

Birthday dinner for my beautiful wife and I could not have made a better choice for this event. One of our favorite places. Extensive menu, and kitchen does everything well. Experienced wait staff. Helpful floor manager who found us a better table when we asked to move away from a large noisy party. Can be a bit loud for us “mature” guests, but a great restaurant.
