Welcome to Aberdunant Hall where we have our fantastic outdoor heated terrace (during peak season), cosy restaurant with an ambient atmosphere in which to dine.

Our Menu consists of a number of classic dishes, steaks and meats from the Grill as well as a collection of more sophisticated plates. Dinner is served Monday to Saturday with our fabulous Home cooked Carvery on Sundays. Please see contact our teams for details of timings as service times and offerings are subject to change.

We only serve quality wines and beers and the tastiest food which is sourced from local suppliers. Adam Ellis our Exec Chef has designed our menus with a wide variety of options for special diets and with just a little tweak can be altered to suit the majority or diets.

We also have an area for guests who wish to bring their dogs when you dine. However please note that this must be notified in advance. Should we not be advised of your requirement prior to arrival we not be able to accommodate.

We were joined later by 3 young men at the next table who thoroughly and extremely noisily enjoyed themselves. They did apologise before they left. The waitress advised a certain number of dishes between us and she was spot on and everything arrived presented really well and was super tasty. As always, lunch at the Britannia was very enjoyable. There was a new menu since our last visit, which was very welcome. The herb souffle was super, and the partridge dish was rich and tasty. Tempura prawns were good but lacked some spicy sauce, and the dressed crab was mediocre.

My friend & I had a meal here last night. Greeted in a nice friendly way, shown to our table & given the special's board. My friend had the chicken stroganoff, which she said was really good. I had pie of the day (steak & mushroom) & it was a proper slice from what must have been a very large homemade pie... deep & filled to the brim with tender steak & mushrooms. Very, very good. The lady waiting our table was attentive without being over the top. I had homemade ice cream for dessert & my friend had the profiteroles. Again, excellent. I've eaten here 5 or 6 times now & I've never had a bad meal, just very good homemade food. We will definitely be back.

The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets.

A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank.

Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. The main bar has hop-draped painted beams, a green dado, and stools against the bar where they serve a beer called Oxney Ale specially brewed for the pub by Westerham Brewery.

First and foremost, the staff were fantastic. Attentive but not pushy, always on hand if needed and very very helpful. The venue is special and the area by the hearth is just charming especially when the fire is gently glowing during a cold. damp October eve. The menu is plentiful, but there is a reason people travel across the counties to eat here: the pies are something special. A hearty meal which will fill the hungry. Fantastic

In 2016 the Old School BBQ was born, using a freshly imported 1982 Bluebird International American school bus from Arizona as a mobile kitchen.

The bus was converted from a traditional seated bus to a fully functional kitchen, with smokers and griddles to cook low and slow BBQ food. The OSB journey had begun, trading from humble beginnings on a local pub car park in Failsworth.

Our little yellow bus soon became a familiar landmark and we became more and more popular with lunch goers who wanted freshly prepared, appetising food served with a smile. Soon demand meant that we would be more often than not greeting our customers with a "sold out" sign, so it was time to expand.

What a lovely place to eat in York. Fabulous location, overlooking the river. Gorgeous outdoor area but also beautiful inside. The staff are very friendly and professional. From the warm welcome to paint the bill as we left the staff were lovely. The food is excellent. I had the pheasant and my friend had chicken. Well cooked and well presented. If I had one tiny point it was that the potato puree was too salty for my taste. Everything else was perfect. A really nice atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening

Great Italian food in Chiswick. There are family connections to Tuscany and the passion for great food, wine and service shine through. The lunchtime set menu is amazing value and a chance to enjoy some top class Tuscan / Italian cooking. Highly recommended.

The Bell and Cross is a 19th century, grade two listed building. Sympathetically renovated in 2018, retaining the historical features and charm it has long been famed for. Embracing the buildings original layout, the restaurant is split into five dining rooms, creating an intimate and relaxing experience.

With an enviable outdoor space, the vibrancy and style of the restaurant extends out into the garden and the classic bar area and original smoke room will take you back to a traditional pub. We are also very dog friendly, and your canine companions are most welcome in our bar area, snug and our outside dining area including our marquees.

The menus at The Bell and Cross change on a seasonal basis and we offer a varied A la carte menu served all day. We also offer a varied small plates menu, lunchtime sandwiches and of course a traditional roast on Sundays.

The restaurant coupled with our lovely outside marquees and seating areas makes the Bell and Cross the perfect place to dine.
