Cortes de carne
SOMA

The only MICHELIN-Starred steakhouse in San Francisco is back in business after a fire temporarily closed the dining room in March. Head back through the gilded door and grab a spot at the 18-seat chef’s counter to watch Dustin Falcon (of Lazy Bear and French Laundry fame) throw prime Japanese and American Wagyu steaks, crispy pig ears, and seasonal favorites like Brentwood sweet corn on the wood-fired grill.

Outer Sunset

Hospitality vet Brian Reccow opened this rustic brewery in his Outer Sunset neighborhood this spring. Brewer Jonathan Taylor crafts house beers like a crushable lager and crisp pilsner, while chef Adriana Fleming (Baia, Saluhall) whips up seasonal flatbreads and small plates like a delicate kampachi crudo and corn fritters. The two-story space rises up to a barrel-vaulted ceiling, with live plants trailing from the rafters.

Potrero Hill

Swing by the prettiest trattoria in Potrero Hill this summer. The group behind Spruce and The Village Pub opened La Connessa in late 2023, and everyone’s still obsessed with the space’s moody blue bistro chairs, geometric tiled floors, and elegant modern Italian dishes. The signature lemon spaghetti is a fan favorite, but don’t miss summer bangers like sweet corn cappelletti, heirloom tomato panzanella, and peach crostata with whipped mascarpone.
