Coreana
Greenwich Village

Fine-dining vet Douglas Kim (Bouley, Per Se) has been turning out some of the best ramyun in town since the opening of this MICHELIN-Starred West Village restaurant in 2017. In a sea of thrilling Korean options in New York, Jeju has held on to that star for six consecutive years. Grab a seat in the sleek wood and tile-clad interiors for bowls of Wagyu ramyun or lobster myun; a hot take on Korean fried chicken dolloped with caviar; and toro ssam bap topped with fatty tuna, caviar, and sea urchin.

Simplemente delicioso. El ceviche no hubiera sido nuestra primera opción, sin embargo fue una grata sorpresa. Todo nos encantó y lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Tucked off the Brooklyn Heights promenade,</span> MICHELIN-Starred Clover Hill continues to draw crowds for its ambitious seasonal tasting menus that highlight Per Se alum Sam Rogers’s Latin heritage. Pair dishes like a Rancho Gordo bean and swordfish tartlet with a sparkling tea or premium wine—sommelier Debbie Jones’s list celebrates small batch and limited-allocation glasses from across the globe. The classic townhouse setting oozes charm, with elegant service and white tablecloths to match.

A party every night in the East Village, Foul Witch is the place to go for Italian-ish plates from the team behind iconic Brooklyn pizzeria Roberta’s. Come for made-for-sharing dishes like a towering plate of chicories with shaved parmesan and an assortment of cured Italian meats best paired with a crushable, chilled bottle (or two) of natural red. Pro tip: visit the bathroom, decked with a mounted Chinese dragon head and spooky wall images—nods to the restaurant’s name and playful pop-up roots.
