Awesome. The staff helped deal with my 2 y.o. niece, who likes to twirl in the middle of the dining room. All of the room was awesome, the room with the roast beef/bacon/eggs Benedict was regularly re-stocked, and help was available. The Oyster bar was slightly slow, but did not really attract from the experience, since it was delicious. A++++

Christine and Daniel are amazing servers and they will always make you feel special. The menu tonight was outstanding! Our appetizer was Classic beef and salmon gravlax with caviar, slivers of pickled beet with maple! Spectacular! The next course was the chef’s grilled specialty - a melt in your mouth beefsteak and a cut I’ve never had before in my life. The side was prime rib stuffed in a baked potato with an old cheese. It was F’n fabulous! To complete the tableau was the return of their desert bar, hallelujah! Those cream puffs are to die for! Their wine selection is impressive and immense. The servers really pair your meals exceptionally. We used to visit Aröme twice a month, (for the past eight years) however with inflation, rise in prices and factoring cost cutting measures we can only afford once a month now. We are grateful to Christine, Daniel and all the servers we know and love to treat us like family when we visit. Thank you so much.

This restaurant is amazing, it’s boujie and very high class so the prices are higher but the food is just as high quality and the service and ambiance are all top notch. It is worthwhile to come here on any occasion.

Blackshop! used to be 100% dependable for excellent food. We did not find that to be the case this visit. The food was not as good as previously, and some favourites were missing. No schnitzel or palachinky. The baked cheese was not tasty as before. All menu options were expensive, there were no lighter or less costly options making it uncomfortable for a group. Specifically, the duck confit was far over cooked and incredibly fatty. The leg was dark brown and crispy all the way through which is indicative of being done to death. Disappointing but we will try again another time to see if this was an anomaly.

The service was exceptional. From the gentleman at the gate, to the manager/director that went out of his way to get me a validated parking voucher, to our server Tobias and his colleagues... Went to celebrate our new year celebration at fumaca and it was amazing. Our group was really impressed with great quality food and amazing service. We had a fun night with great downtown view of city. We really loved their variety of meat with great salad bar and loved their cheese buns . Its a perfect place for group especially. Best Brazilian steakhouse in town. Highly recommended.

Started off with the warm oysters and apple, leek with shredded potatoes and the burratta! Every single bite was to die for! Continued with the pasta and rabbit and the pork chop with brussel sprouts and semi sweet demi glaze. The evening was fabulous, the service impeccable and I will keep coming back.

Our server was apologetic and tried their best to rectify food quality problems. Both my partner and I on a date night had food so rock hard the fork bounced off it rather than being able to pick up the items. We were also unable to chew it. Also Iprefer soup that is warm not hot which worked well as the soup was served between tepid and warm. A table with very young boisterous children were seated in an area of couples looking for a date night experience although there were other more public areas

This has been & is one of my favourite restaurants for the past 15 yrs. I went with my family on New Year’s after almost a year later…blame it on the pandemic😊We ordered the house specials…scallops, pate & the soup, as share plates between three of us. The first two were disappointing but the soup was pretty good. We ordered three main courses…my daughter & I shared two of the main courses, which were, lentil based lingcod & crab/lobster bamboo rice dishes. They were ok & felt, it was not to the high standard of this establishment. However, the third main, beef tenderloin was v good. All said & done, this restaurant will remain as one of our favourites & we live in the area.

Sunday brunch is a must if you haven’t tried it. Every time seems better than the previous. Side salad is always fresh with gourmet touches and a light flavourful vinaigrette. The baby potatoes are roasted not fried so they taste delicious and creamy. The bennies, egg dishes and other sandwiches are top notch fresh and delicious.

Used to go here when it was the Bellair Cafe. Very pretty and comfortable inside still and a terrific place to meet for brunch. We had a great meal and very attentive service. Probably the best omelette I've every had and the herbs frites were sooo goooddd!

My favorite, pesto chicken Alfredo is only on the lunch menu & Sun/Mon pasta nights. PLEASE, add it to your regular dinner menu - I'd dine more often!! I have found the restaurant noise level much higher since the reno - seems more crowded and tables even closer together than before. To be honest, I don't like the new black & white, or the "couch" seating -- it seems awkward, and perhaps why it seems too crowded. In any case, the food is always great, and did I mention -- please have the pesto chicken Alfredo always available??😊
