Loved the new menu items. Had a great glass of wine—if you like whites, try their Sancerre. Our service was great and we had a lovely evening. By the way, the Turkish braised short rib and the Pork Jaegersnitzel are top-notch. Just be prepared to take some home!

We had a magical evening at The Cake Bake Shop in Carmel. Our server, Mady helped create the magic for a perfect evening. Our table was on the porch with open window to see the fountain outside. Mady brought our drink orders which weee wonderful. My granddaughter had the hot chocolate with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and a few sprinkles. I ordered the chicken velvet soup with a baguette. The soup was made like I remember at L.S.Ayres Department Store in Indianapolis. My daughter-in-law ordered the lemon Caesar Salad and the tomato caprese sandwich. She thought the Caesar Salad was incredible along with the sandwich. My granddaughter ordered the buttered noodles with French fries. She was so amazed by sparkles on her French fries and buttered noodles. The best part of dinner at the Cake Bake Shop is dessert. My daughter-in-law ordered the Cookie Dough Cake and I had the key lime pie. Mady brought the cake then since this was my granddaughter’s first visit, she had her make a special fairy wish then gave her edible sparkles to blow on her cake. The desserts were wonderful. Mady made our evening so special to create memories for all of us. I highly recommend Cake Bake Shop Carmel for not only incredible food but an exceptional dining experience.

Great food and service in a fresh music-filled atmosphere. Sitting inside or out is great. A lot of choices on the menu and with unexpected upgradess: the sweet and peppery butter for the corn bread to the strawberry butter on the waffles. We love Terrain for dinner. The menu for lunch is more limited especially for me with a severe shellfish allergy. Overall it was nice, but felt like the air conditioning was not working. The air inside felt stuffy (understand it was super hot outside but sweating through lunch was not enjoyable.

All but one aspect of visit was an improvement from last experience. The food was good. While the salmon was flavourful and of good portion I found the plate sparse and uninspired. It was served on a bed of greens, lemon wedge, ramekin of a horseradish creme and little else. The softshells were memorable as was the onion soup. Comfortable enough to enjoy outdoor seating. Price points on the high end for lunch and service lacked presence, attention to detail and was stiff, distant and less than engaging. We were not offered a dessert menu nor whether we wanted coffee. We asked another server for both. That being said, the food and location stood out.

We started at the bar as we awaited everyone’s varied arrivals. I had the Mint to Bee which was delicious. I loved the round table for 5 allowing us all to catch up and chat easily. We had a beautiful view of the garden in bloom and the river. Our server, Tiffany, was exceptional, responsive, kind, and made wonderful recommendations. She was very knowledgeable. The pacing was perfect. I had raw oysters and pasta with scallops. Both were well prepared and delicious. We did not feel rushed and never wanted for water or any thing at all. Canoe is dependable for good food and service. Valet parking - but very easy, friendly and quick. Thank you - look forward to next time!

Located in the Union Market neighborhood, the second outpost of Joe Carroll’s popular NYC restaurant aims to bring some of the laid back vibes of Brooklyn to Washington, DC. St. Anselm is an American tavern devoted to the pleasures of grilled meats and great ingredients simply cooked. While steak is a specialty, the creativity doesn’t stop there. Delicious food, eclectic wines (some on tap), and classic cocktails set the tone for a great experience. Paired with friendly service in an unpretentious setting adorned with quirky décor, dining at St Anselm is the total package.

The food was outstanding and the waiter was very knowledgeable and helped a great deal. The ice cream cake was outstanding!

I visited Del Vino Vineyards right at opening time (11am), and the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The vineyard views were stunning — peaceful, elegant, and perfect for a sunny day. We enjoyed a glass of rosé that was crisp and refreshing, and the food was just as impressive — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything from the ambiance to the quality of the wine made this visit truly memorable. Can’t wait to go back!
