Miami has great weather year-round and the outdoor restaurants to prove it. Alfresco dining is a distinct perk for Sunshine State residents, and the alluring backdrops are just as diverse as the city’s many cuisines.

Enjoy Mediterranean-accented fare on a bohemian rooftop deck in South Beach. Sit against the sand at a swanky Mid-Beach surf and turf spot. Take in soothing canal views—often complete with manatees floating by—at an Argentinian place in MiMo.

There are plenty of breathtaking views to take in while eating outside in Miami. Read on for a guide to the 11 of the city’s most magical outdoor dining options to book now.

Downtown Miami
About the restaurant

Dining along the Miami River is always a treat, but it takes on new heights at Casablanca Seafood, part Key West-style restaurant, part thriving fish market. Diners have a front-row seat to the docks where commercial boats pull in with the day’s catch. Go big with a seafood tower or opt for individual appetizers such as conch fritters and grilled shrimp bruschetta. Guests can select their fish and have it prepared to their liking: seared, broiled, fried, or baked, with a choice of sauces including lemon butter, lemon caper, mushroom cream, or scampi.

Bal Harbour
About the restaurant

Le Zoo is a lively French restaurant in the high-end Bal Harbour Shops mall. The Stephen Starr concept has both indoor and outdoor seating, but the best seats in the house are the bistro tables, primed for epic people-watching and the occasional celebrity sighting. Le Zoo’s crab and avocado salad and onion soup gratinée make delightful starters. Get the steak frites or tagliolini with truffle butter and Parmesan for something heartier.
