The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

We went to Blu on Avenue Road for our 3rd anniversary dinner and had a quiet romantic table on the ground floor. Staff went out of their way to explain the menu and our choices. It was clear that they were very loyal and loved their jobs and the place. They did give us some quiet time too. Then we were told the restaurant was about to close because of a huge rent increase at their lease renewal. We hope the new location opening on King Street West will come close to the beautiful spacious building on Avenue Road. Even if it does not we will be there because the food and service is so good. We each had an amazing scallop appetizer and we were glad we did not split it and had our own. For main courses the pasta, lamb and beef tenderloin were cooked to perfection. We were too full for ordering dessert but they brought a tiramisu to share and we were able to finish before leaving happy. We can’t wait to return to the new location in May.

We enjoyed the pizza and calamari. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and the service is excellent. I wish they had more choices in vegetable and salad dishes. My grandson would have liked a better selection of gelato flavours such as pistachio. Nevertheless, we will return as it has become one of our favourite places in the neighborhood.

The food, cocktails and service at Amal are all outstanding! I’ve been twice and just booked a third visit in August to bring friends when they visit from out of town. I’d highly recommend the hummus, cauliflower appetizers and the chicken skewers as a main, absolutely delicious! Our dinner was amazing from start to finish. The ambience is so beautiful and the food was amazing. The cherry on top was our Server Jaime. He was such a delight. We are visiting Vancouver for our anniversary and Jaime just made our dinner so special. He offered to take a few photos of us which was incredibly nice! Highly recommend! Delicious meal and service top notch!

It was a lovely birthday dinner and not many diners so felt very private. For vibes, think jetsons meet 1960’s dinner meets a manic pixie dream girl! Plus, free dessert for the bday girl.
