I had the swordfish which was excellent. I asked them to substitute a caper green verde sauce. It was perfect. The salads are big enough to share. We had a radicchio persimmon salad that was very tasty. We ate out on the back patio. It was cozy and quiet even though the tables were full.

We came before a show at the Cadillac Theatre and it was a great decision! We had the Snack like Jose tasting menu, everything was so good! Our favorite was the HAMACHI CONE and NEPTUNE'S PILLOWS! The Patatas Bravas came out on their own and were kind of bland, maybe if they had another course it would have been complimentary. They were good but just potatoes. We also had the PLUMA IBÉRICO DE BELLOTA PORK, I high recommend!

Still love this place and have been many times before and will be back. But this time there was a Bit of a wait to be seated even with reservation. Also once seated about 15-20 minutes before any server greeted. For the price you pay you would expect a bit more is all.

Huntington Beach / Seal Beach / Fountain Valley
About the restaurant
Behind an unmarked door adjacent to the wine room, guests are transported to District 1 (China Town) in Saigon via Blackhouse’s 28-seat restaurant-within-a-restaurant, LSXO. A spinoff of the Little Sister brand (Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach & Downtown Los Angeles), LSXO is love letter to the culture, heritage, and lineage of Vietnam (Vuong’s relatives hail from the region). While Little Sister is known for its French Vietnamese menu, LSXO follows the same Southeast Asian inspiration with a more refined feel.

“There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there. While Bluegold is light, bright, and airy, LSXO is its darker, edgier little sister,” says Vuong. “Both restaurants operate out of the same kitchen, though the menus are completely different. LSXO offers straight-up, honest, home-style Vietnamese cuisine—the type of food I grew up eating with my grandparents in the San Gabriel Valley

About the restaurant
Culinary School graduate and James Beard honoree Chef Navjot Arora has put together a unique menu borrowing from the vast culinary diversity of India.
We truly believe great food starts with great ingredients. We procure only fresh, wholesome ingredients with no artificial flavorings or additives, local produce wherever possible, all natural poultry, free range lamb, wild not farmed seafood. We grind our own spices to ensure freshness.

The New York Times gave high marks to our succulent tandoori cooked meats and referred to our sauces as superbly complex.” Vegetarians will feel like royalty” says The Journal News, referring to our delicious curries and vegetable appetizers. Our menu reflects Chef Navjot’s true passion for food that began from a very young age. He further honed his skills and learnt from the very best master chefs at the Taj Group of Hotels

The menu offers a variety of combination platters, along with biryanis, curries, tandoori entrees.

About the restaurant
Outdoor dining is open weather permitting.

MP Taverna, Chef Michael Psilakis’s modern interpretation of a traditional Greek tavern, is an exciting staple in the Westchester dining scene, located steps from the Metro-North Railroad and a stone’s throw from the Hudson River. Open for lunch and dinner, MP Taverna’s accessible, Greek-inspired menu brings Psilakis’ Greek fare into the American culinary lexicon and is another step towards the chef’s goal of putting Greek cuisine on the culinary main stage.

We had dinner here last night with 2 other couples. We've written reviews for MP before and so this one will be brief. To get to the point, this is one of the BEST restaurants in Westchester, and would be one of the best in NYC if it were there. Chef Michael is a Celebrity Chef who has appeared on multiple cooking shows and who has been recognized with many awards--his food is uniformly outstanding. The staf was warm and super attentive. Our friends from LA, who had not been here before, raved about the meal. Worth a trip even from the city to dine here!

About the restaurant
Love and Salt is a story that begins with Cafe Pierre, a restaurant birthed by Guy Gabriele in 1977 to bring a taste of France to Los Angeles’ South Bay. While Cafe Pierre was a beloved part of the community for nearly 37 years, in 2014, Guy and his daughter Sylvie Gabriele, now the owner of Love and Salt, closed the restaurant to bring new life to the iconic space.

Love and Salt is a philosophy: that food needs only two ingredients to be great. It’s a sensibility that informs the feeling in the restaurant and the dishes on the menu — Italian-inspired with Southern California soul. An approachable wine list and classic cocktail program similarly reflect the vibrant SoCal setting of the restaurant, located just steps from the Manhattan Beach pier.

Delicious food and fantastic service - as always at Love & Salt! Our server was helpful with recommendations and we loved the Chicken Liver Mousse, and the Rigatoni dish. We love their specialty cocktails - The Lady in The Ballroom is our all time favorite!

Best Ribeye I have ever had. While the cap was excellent the rest of the ribeye was just as tender. Excellent sides and appetizers as well. While the dining room was too loud for conversation the food was worth it!

The food at Flea Street was excellent! We had the salad, onion soup and the filet mignon - all wonderful! The service was attentive and the noise level was low. It is not inexpensive, but we felt like we had an excellent experience for the price.
