   Limone's helped my husband celebrate his birthday with a glass of bubbly and a delicious piece of tres leches cake. As always, our dinner was fantastic!

   Honestly I’ve heard so much about this place and I finally got to eat there! Very tasty, the mojito was good. They sound add a mango flavor to the menu, I’d pay a lot for that. Haha! The servers were nice, the host was nice. I felt like an idiot figuring out where the door was. I will return!

   This was my sixth visit over the years to Limones, and it has never disappointed me. As with many restaurants in renovated buildings, the noise level can get a bit loud when it is full, but it is not intolerable. The waiter was very good and made a couple of nice suggestions. He did get a bit ruffled when my guest asked him to deplate the main dish onto a larger plate that made it easier for her to eat. He did so reluctantly. It was an unusual request I'm sure. This is usually not a spur-of-the-moment choice as it is booked at the main dining hours

   Drinks and civeche were delicious. Service was rushed, terse and forgetful. Mains (Fish) were dry and the accompaniments did not augment the dish and were not very good. For what we paid I did not thing there was a lot of value. If we came back would stick to drinks and apps only.

    We had the ceviche sampler, lamb and halibut. Everything was amazing, Thank you Chef! Our server, Matt, was great! He knew everything about the food, was super attentive, and even gave us suggestions on what was going on around town. This will be our go-to if we ever visit again!

    Mediocre, overpriced food. The waiter was nice enough but took my food away after telling him I wasn't finished with it. He also didn't inform us that the kitchen and bar would be closing and ask if we wanted anything else before they did. Manager lacked tact, had no personality, and zero people skills. Won't be back...

    Limones never disappoints. Service, food, ambiance, and drinks. I had a blackberry marguerita that was spicy, and it was amazingly delicious. The ceviche is excellent. I had a white fish that was flaky and flavored softly. Dessert? The dulce de leche cake cannot be beaten.

    The chile relleno was the star of the dishes. The blood orange margarita was an excellent drink that lasted for the whole meal. Service was a little spotty but good overall. The restaurant certainly got quiet after 8:30 p.m. on a cold evening. I would recommend and also return.

    Everything was excellent! Lobster nachos, chicken masala tacos, halibut, steak, and churros were great. The shrimp pico ceviche was outstanding! Our server was new. She said it was her first night on the floor after training. She was absolutely wonderful! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Asheville and we always enjoy it but this was an exceptionally wonderful night. Thank you to everyone working on Monday, March 13, 2023- you all made our experience perfect!

    Last Saturday night, one of Asheville's finest restaurants had an off night. We were excited to be able to get into Limones during a "normal time slot" for dinner without planning weeks or months in advance. We sat at the bar, which I would recommend as it was very comfortable. The bar staff were pleasant and attentive. They were training a new bartender who missed the simple syrup in my margarita. Upon my pointing out that their signature drink was undrinkable, she asked if I'd like simple syrup added (a normal ingredient). She corrected the oversight with a smile but no apologies. The sharable ceviche sampler was outstanding and was the star of the night. My wife's short ribs were good. Despite the country ham and other ingredients my shrimp/grits had little to no taste and the shrimp was over cooked. I'm also not a fan when the customer is required to de-tail the shrimp as it creates a mess with handling utensils, drink, etc. I know Limones is better than they were for us on Saturday night but for the price I'd expect more.

    Lobster tacos were amazing, and the shrimp and grits was a delicious blend of flavors. The expanded space is really well done and the noise is way down as a result. Service excellent as always.

    Such a wonderful restaurant from the beautiful ambience, outstanding waitress to delicious dinner. We loved sitting in the quiet window seat. Very creative menu choices. The lobster nachos were spectacular.
