Delicious food, good service. My creamy sunchoke soup was fabulous and my husband liked the Italian Wedding soup. He loved his lamb shoulder with gnocchi, although it was bit fatty. I ordered the duck medium, it was a bit rarer than I would have liked. Pricey wine: the least expensive Sauvignon Blanc was $56. The strawberry shortcake was good, but come on, they could be WAY more generous with the strawberries (which we're quite sure were frozen). Lastly, we don't love restaurants where you're sitting in a long row, only inches away from other diners.

Excellent in every way. Be prepared to sit very close to another table, as it’s a very small place.

Just a hidden gem. I’ve been going there since 2001 and it is still just classic. On Saturday the noise level was pretty loud because there was a Birthday with 14 attendees. But we managed and had a great meal.

Made a reservation for lunch on a Friday while in town. Best meal I had that week. Grilled beets to start then sheepshead fish with arugula pesto followed by strawberry shortcake. Sounds simple. But it was absolutely delicious.

While this is a lovely restaurant to look at, and they did make an excellent Boulevardier cocktail, the food was just so-so. We had dined at Herbsaint the night before and the food was fabulous. Also when we arrived the restaurant had booths near windows, outside seating (which we discovered when we left) and tables along the back wall with a banquette back, but we were offered none of these and were sat at a two top in the center. All of those seating options were still available when we left an hour and a half later.
Our dining in New Orleans this trip at Herbsaint, Broussards, Cochon, and Ralph's on the Park have all served superior food.

Could have been a much different experience if they hadn't tried to stick us at a lone table in the back, literally almost within striking distance as the doors to the kitchen swung open and shut. Headed to New Orleans from Minneapolis for a long weekend, we made reservations for dinner Saturday night several weeks in advance. We arrived early to enjoy a cocktail at the Bouligny Tavern. Cocktails were awesome, as was the ambiance! Then, we headed next door excited to enjoy a delicious dinner. They were ready with our table. Unfortunately, they led us through the restaurant to the back where there is a room about the size of a large bathroom. Two tables -- one 2-top and one 4-top -- sit isolated back there with view of each other, the wall or the constant traffic of waiters going in/out of the kitchen. We couldn't have been more disappointed, and frankly offended, that such a well reputed fine dining establishment would use this space for patrons who'd gone to great lengths (reserving almost a month in advance) to enjoy their restaurant. This space should either be reserved for walk-ins who are willing to sacrifice ambiance just to get the cuisine or used as a lounge space for guests waiting on a table (as the bar is small and was full when we were there). Anyway, to finish the story, we politely refused the table and they found us another in the dining room after about a 20 minute wait. From there on, our experience was lovely. Too bad the first impressions tainted the overall outing, making our evening out "fair" instead of "fantastic". So, be warned...if you go, make sure you tell them you'll not accept one of those ridiculous tables in the back. Good luck!

As always, we had a wonderful meal and overall experience at Lilette. We go here for special occasion dinners or simply because we love it. The service is terrific and the menu is a nice mix of reliable favorites and seasonal specials.

Our meals were very good. The best appetizers at the table were the truffle toast and the duck confit - our third party was not completely impressed with the escargot. Our main course choices were duck breast, branzino and lamb shoulder and all were excellent. Dessert choices were good as well. We will return.

Second time to visit this restaurant while traveling from out of town. It was just as wonderful as the first time! Ambiance is delightful, service very good and the food is excellent. It will definitely be on my list of go-to restaurants in NOLA!

Our entire meal was exquisite. The roasted beets were perfectly done and always one of our favorites. The Hangar Steak was deliciously flavored, and the Coq au Vin was tender and tasty. My friend, who doesn't have a big appetite said before she began eating, I'll probably have to take half of my Coq au Vin home. Well, that didn't happen! She polished off every marcel. Both deserts were beautifully balanced. My favorite was the poached pear with goat cheese creme fraiche, but the panna cotta was also delicious. The staff was attentive and patiently put up with our extra long visit. Beginning to end, a delightful lunch.

This restaurant was very quaint looking so we made a reservation the night we passed by.
When we arrived the hostess was out smoking a cigarette. We should’ve left then. When we were seated she was unfriendly and the waitress was extremely unfriendly throughout our meal. The food was really outstanding but the general attitude of the people working here made this experience sour.

Great food and service! Only complaint would be that when we arrived for our 7:00 PM reservation our table was not ready. We were offered an outdoor table, but it was a little chilly so we declined. We were asked to wait next door in the bar until around 7:30 or 7:45. The food made up for the wait. Would definitely go back!

We were in NOLA for a conference and Lilette was recommended by a chef friend. We made a reservation and a FOH staff member called me to see if we would be interested in being seated in the terrace garden. After asking about weather considerations, she agreed that if we weren't ok with it when we arrived, we could be seated inside. We arrived after a really difficult, long day and were looking forward to chilling with a great meal. It was an early reservation and the restaurant was empty apart from a single 2-top when we arrived. We were seated on a small table on a relatively run-down outdoor porch - not at all what we were expecting based on the photos and recommendations we'd had. We asked to sit inside instead and the hostess said no, our reservation was for outside. I told her that I'd been told we could eat inside if it wasn't agreeable to be outside (it was chilly, the heat lamps were not on, and it wasn't a garden!) and that we had adjusted our reservation based on their request and assurances. She apologized again, and asked if it was ok - we replied no, it wasn't ok. She went inside the restaurant and returned to say she could seat us inside as long as we left by 7:15PM - it was 5:45PM. We sat in a lovely booth and had an AMAZING meal. The service was impeccable, the craft cocktails perfectly done, and all three courses were sublime. We were finished by 7:00PM. So a rocky beginning by the FOH turned into a great ending by the waiter, phenomenal bar, and incredible kitchen. Lilette is a gem and completely worth a trip out of the convention center closer CBD/French Quarter/Warehouse areas. It's a short taxi/uber away and well worth it!!!

Made a reservation weeks in advance. Upon arriving to the restaurant,on time, there were plenty of empty tables but we were asked to wait at the bar. 10 minutes later, still waiting ,we approached the receptionist again. The manager overheard the conversation, they then had us sit upstairs on the landing near the kitchen door & a very noise table. Service was poor & the menu very limiting.

We had great time Las last night. The food was amazing.
It had a magic touch and fine fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the whole Mediterranean sea bass and my wife the hanger steak. They do also have an extensive wine list.

Staff was accommodating to our reservation since we arrived early, however we were seated outside next to a tree which was riddled with ants. It hard to imagine eating anything else past our appetizer, the food looked amazing but being outside was not worth it. Would love to come back for main seating to have a full coarse meal.

We enjoyed a meal and bottle of wine on the patio. The sunchoke soup was delightful, and the meal overall was excellent. On a Friday night, we were pleased that the patio was quiet, and the service spot on. We were visitors to New Orleans and enjoyed getting out of the quarter and being among (what seemed like) the locals.
