Great food, great service! Friday night smoked Prime Rib is some of the best we have had !
Service was slow. Ordered the tuna crackers- big mistake. Sent it back and it was taken off the bill. Thankfully. Other food was extremely mediocre. Come here for bar food and drinks.
Awesome place to eat. Love the old school ski theme. EPIC burgers. They are massive so be ready
Came here for dinner! Loved it, great to see the lifts. Loved our drinks and dinner. One of Jackson Holes go to places.
Wonderful service from the moment we walked in! The wine list is fabulous. Calamari was tough - wouldn’t recommend. Their specials were amazing and the pasta is superb. Excellent Italian food.
Great food and great service. Cool decor, was a little quiet but it t was a Monday night so not unexpected.
The Lift was a few blocks from our hotel, but the walk was easy as the weather was good and not too cold. The food is pub grub but very good and the portions are generous. We opted for soup and salad and both were excellent. The decor is definitely ski chalet and the central fireplace adds to the atmosphere.
Food was good but service was so-so. Server did not check up on us except for delivering food and drinks
Went for Super Bowl meal and game. Staff and atmosphere was awesome. Food was great
Got to have the nachos!
First time visitor on a boys weekend with my 11 year old son. Excellent time. Great service and really good food — and very cost effective compared to some other places in Jackson. The only negative was we were seated at a table near the bar where some of the men were using bad language right in front of my son. But not the restaurants’s fault and they backed off when I said something. Look forward to going back.
Food was great.we used the reservation and we were seated shortly after arriving. Food was priced fairly for product and area.
We made reservations and still had to wait 30 before they had a table. Very short on wait staff, seemed confused who was doing what
First time there, loved it, definitely go again!!!
This quaint restaurant had the feel of a small town “mom and pa” diner. Everyone was very nice!
Everything about Lift was fantastic... Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food!
Wife and I went here for our anniversary. We shared the Penne pasta and shared mud pie for dessert. Both were amazing!
We love dining at Lift! The atmosphere is casual and fun! Wonderful views in the summer & a cozy fire in the winter. The food is always great with plenty of choices. It is always one of our first choices when deciding where to dine in Jackson.
Great food and great service!
We really enjoyed our dining experience at your restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet and the views were amazing.
Lindsay and crew always do an excellent job! The steak special was excellent!
Food was, for the most part, good. the Rainbow Trout tasted and looked like salmon. Our waitress said she's heard that before but it was trout. Soup was a little cool. All in all this was a good place to go to for a group.
The Billy burgers are great, just like the originals at Billy's downtown. Deck is enjoyable during good weather. Prices reasonable.
Located a little bit off the main drag (and that's a good thing), we got in pretty late and Lift was still busy. The bar seating was full and there weren't a lot of open booths. That had to be a good sign, right? Our server was great! She was personable and took the time to have a short conversation with us.
The beer selection was varied with quite a few options bottled and on tap.
It was a little loud, but the name says it all. Lift is for the ski crowd. It was summer, but the crowd is the same. A little younger and not necessarily interested in a quiet dinner. :-)
The food was good. I had a burger. It was fresh and came out medium-rate, just like I ordered. The bun was fantastic. If the beef had more flavor I would give the food five stars. The nachos were BIG (as described by our server). The cowboy trout and grilled salmon were good too.
This was a great stop. The service was great, the food was good, and the location outside of the main strip made parking a lot easier.
Beautiful views made this worthwhile. The trout was a little bland but I was added lots of salt and pepper.
Good service, good food, reasonably priced, good atmosphere.
Waited more than 1 hour for food after giving order. Service very slow, but server nice.
Comfortable dining on the deck with a view of the mountain and the ski area. Very good food, and very good service.
We asked a local where to eat and he suggested The Lift. We weren't disappointed. Great atmosphere, food and beer. You need to try it well worth the money.
Lift's a pretty good restaurant. The food is reasonably priced and they have a fair amount of options. And, they continue to serve the ever famous Billy Burgers with waffle fries which have been a Jackson Hole favorite for decades. In a town that has a lot of expensive high end restaurants, Lift offers alternative, more comfort style food at a more reasonable price. I personally prefer the more gourmet style food. But this is one of the very few restaurants my teenage daughter can handle. So we eat here from time to time and it's consistent and the service is always good. If the previously mentioned critiques are what you're looking for, give it a try. It's hard to find reasonably priced food in Jackson. And this restaurant is one of only two reasonably priced restaurants available on OpenTable in the Jackson Hole area. So, food for thought, pun intended.
There were quite a few mistakes with the particulars of our orders (such as how our steak was cooked). Service was ok but drinks weren't kept up with.
We enjoyed our meals very much after a full day of exploring Grand Teton Nat'l. Park, we were ready eat ASAP. Our Open Table reservation was honored quickly even though I made it less than half an hour before we arrived. We were seated right away. Lots of fun seemed to be had around us. Our server couldn't have been friendlier or more attentive. Our meal was served promptly and we both enjoyed our selections. Seems like it could be a fun place for a couple like us, a family, or a large group. It was a cold evening or we would have loved to go to the rooftop patio for our meal. We enjoyed watching the folks biking and hiking on Snow King from our window seat. Only down side was that they were out of their hand-crafted vanilla cream soda and I wanted to try it. Would recommend - if we were in town longer, we would have returned on a warmer evening to try the patio seating.
We were seated promptly, and greeted by our waiter within minutes. However he was very inexperienced. We had to assure him that the bartender would know what a Long Island Iced Tea is, because he had no idea! The area we were seated at was beside another table where 5 women were seated. There was no privacy, so we were distracted by their loud conversation. I just think a table for two should not be right beside an open table for 6. I mean, we were inches away. The food was okay. I ordered trout, as being in Wyoming i was looking forward to that, and chose that restaurant because trout was on the menu. But instead of rainbow trout I got what I think was Steelhead, which I buy at my local grocery store back in New England! My husband ordered the flat iron steak which was done perfectly medium rare. All in all, this newish eatery
We went to 43 North on a friend's recommendation and were thrilled with the choice. We got a lovely table by the fire and everyone's meal was fantastic. Easy parking. Attentive wait staff. We will be back!
We had an excellent time at 43 North. Ritchie Billingham's devotion to creating gourmet dishes that can't be found anywhere else in Jackson makes this restaurant always fun. When I visit my favorite restaurants in Jackson, I typically order the same thing every time. At 43 North I've never had the same thing twice. Keep fighting the good fight Ritchie!
I really love the food at 43 North. Imagination, quality and diversity are all fantastic. If they were on The Square or even on Broadway (like the Bistro) they would be jammed every night Maybe they should have changed their name when they changed from burgers, beer and bands to a more upscale high quality restaurant. For whatever reason, they seem to stay undiscovered. If you want a GREAT restaurant, reasonable prices that is not impossible to get a reservation at, go to 43. Really. Do it. I have no ties, do not know the owner or staff, I just love their food! I consider it better than Snake River, Bistro, on par with Blue Lion. REALLY worth trying if you only remember what they were years ago.
We had a delicious, special dinner at 43 North! I had the prosciutto wrapped halibut! Loved it! My husband had the pork chop and my son had the stuffed prawns. We all enjoyed our entrees! Plus we were given a free bottle of wine as part of their special. While we were dining a huge group of tired looking fire fighters came in to eat. 43 North opened up the entire back room to them. Everyone applauded when they entered the restaurant. It gave me a warm feeling to know that 43 North was showing appreciation for these selfless, hard working people who literally saved our community!!
so nice to have this option in town
a nice surprise just down the street from Snow King and not in the chaos of Jackson center. excellent food, nice atmosphere and good service. Bar/outdoor scene is separated with upstairs and deck so not to disturb diners and even so a calm bar scene. Enjoyed it so much we made a 2nd trip on our last night to be sure it would be a good meal.
We chose this restaurant based on the online information, and the setting was nice but otherwise our experience was poor. We arrived on time for our reservation, we're seated quickly, but wait service was very slow from what seemed to be under-staffing. No one took our order for 15 minutes, we received no food, not even our appetizer, until after sitting for 40 minutes. The longer the wait lasted to order, the lower in price we looked for choices, for fear the entrees would suffer in quality as well. All we ended up ordering were burgers, which did come with cold fries and neither were cooked to order. All we wanted was to leave.
