Good service nice selection of entrees and appetizers
Specific diet. Celebrated a special purchase. Hard to eat out, but loved it here!!! Food, service and ambiance were perfect!
Love this restaurant . Food is delicious and love that it is a family owned and run establishment . The owners always stop and speak to us when we come in.
Excellent service and the flavors will bring me back.
Food was delicious but it seemed very expensive for what we got
New Years Eve Celebration!
Fantastic Dinner and Evening!
Food, Service and Environment were absolutely amazing!
Strongly recommend Leyla’s for anyone dinning downtown Charleston!
Leyla never disappoints! Hands down one of the best restaurants in Charleston!
I am Syrian and am a harsh critic of any middle eastern food. This place surpassed expectations. The food was delicious and had vibrant flavors, the service was lovely and overall the experience was top notch. I definitely suggest trying this restaurant out.
Brought entire family (6 of us) for special holiday meal and was terribly disappointed. They "ran out of rice" despite the fact that it was a key ingredient in each of our entrees. I would have driven to the grocery store myself to bring them back some rice to cook. Seems like a bad way to save 25 minutes and lose customers forever. Will not be returning. Owner was very nice and roaming around talking to people but probably had no clue that the employees had decided to "run out of rice" at 7pm on a busy night between Christmas and New Year.
The food is overpriced. Normal quality and quantity food but charged like a 5 star hotel.
We have been eating at Leylas on Christmas Eve for many years. Everything about this family owned resturant is comfortable and familiar and the food is always great!
Neat place, good food. Over priced, would consider other options for that reason alone.
Always amazing!
The food was phenomenal! Cannot wait to go back!! Also, the service was fantastic. The servers were attentive and made wonderful suggestions. 10 out of 10 experience:)
The experience from the front door to the table and even exiting was amazing. The menu is available for viewing upon entrance. The owner and staff were beyond courteous. They had the perfect suggestions for you.
My husband and I enjoyed his birthday brunch. We cannot wait to return to Charleston to dine at Leyla’s.
It is not a fancy restaurant but the food is excellent! I highly recommend the Leyla specialty dessert with pistachio ice cream.
My favorite restaurant in Charleston. I'm Lebanese - and living in Charleston away from my family - so it's really nice to come in and feel like I'm getting a home-cooked meal! The owner is super sweet and makes you feel like family. Highly recommend! :)
Overall the food was good. Not the best pita for a Lebanese restaurant. My vodka was a very short measured pour. Pretty cheap pour for a $15 drink. Had to get a double in order to get the drink you usually get in a restaurant- boom $30. The lentil salad was also a bit odd. Hot lentils over a tasty, well dressed greens. Sort of made the greens soggy. And it cost $25. That’s a lot for a salad. The kabobs were good as was the hummus and lebnah. Overall I don’t think I would return to this restaurant as it is overpriced and pours skimpy drinks.
Absolutely fantastic. Extremely helpful staff and the food was out of this world. We had the mezze, you should too. We will be back, for sure.
Amazing food and amazing service!
Exquisite food with exceptional service. Had the vegetarian plate.
Arguably the best food in Charleston. Amazing. We keep going back.
Phenomenal food and phenomenal service. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. Highly recommend this place and we will be back the next time we're in Charleston.
Delicious food but overpriced. We've dined at Lebanese restaurants all over the nation and the prices here don't make sense. Everyone the Sambosik, Hummus with meat appetizers and the outstanding Fatoush salad. The chicken shawarma and beef kabob were both flavorful and delicious. The desserts were phenomenal. The freshly made Kunefe is the best we've been served. The pistachio ice cream and the baklava with baklava ice cream were excellent. Service was friendly with the owner Leyla checking on our table and visiting with us. An absolute treat. We would definitely return if in the area again.
Amazing food. Would come back here again. The service was great.
Leyla never lets us down. We have been several times and I think it gets better each time we dine. We brought friends with us this time that were "first timers" and they absolutely loved it. It is a very intimate setting with a staff that could give lessons to other wait staff in Charleston on how to treat a customer. We are Leyla lovers!
Such a wonderful meal. Super food and great service.
Delicious food and the staff was excellent. Definitely will visit the next time I am in Charleston.
We had the best dinner here! And we made friends too. It really felt homey with upscale food. Two things we love. The food was super yummy and the service was great fast response and overall really nice people. The owner cane over to personally make sure we knew what was in our food since we asked not to have dairy. It was the best dinner we had during our vacation! Would recommend anyone to go here!
Excellent food and dining experience!
Always a wonderful experience. Delicious food and warm hospitality.
Great first time experience. The service was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious.
This is easily one of my favorite places to eat in the Holy City! The chef's hummus is the best hummus I have ever had (by a wide margin). Every time we eat at Leyla, we have a splendid time. Great food and great service in a great location.
Service was over the top, food was average cost was extreme
Loved the flowers on the table to add color. Waiter great. Food amazing! Price great. Ambiance perfect.
The servers were fantastic, they were super nice and respectful to my table. The food was great as well, and it did not take long to get our food. I 100% recommend.
Very authentic food, great quality. The mezze were well executed, really nothing negative to share.
Amazing food and good owner interaction! Would definitely go again.
First time eating Lebanese & it was everthing & more. Light, not too much..perfect.
Greeted at door by one of the owners and his wife does all the cooking. A lot of things on menu I haven’t tried so our waiter helped up pick out a few new ones. Everything was delicious.
