Unbelievably awesome. The staff was SO nice, and they went out of their way all night to take care of us. The quality of the food is top notch, and the service was even better. If. I could give them 6 stars, I would. Huge props to our server Rafael and the whole crew at Leroy's for taking such great care of us for our anniversary dinner!
We got the best seat in the house...on the sidewalk! LOL
We ordered blue fin tuna, clams, poke tacos and Caesar salad, a beer and lemonade and we spent $100. The blue fin tuna was good but it didn’t come with any side that’s filling, it came with corn and chopped green onions for $28. The clams were tiny, it was just ok, will not order it again if we ever go back. The poke tuna was yummy and so was the Caesar salad. The serving is small and for what we have paid for, this place is on the pricey side.
Usually love Leroy’s but this last time was not up to par. They didn’t serve us what we ordered and didn’t make any effort to resolve it. I’ve been going weekly, but looks like I’ll be reconsidering that now.
Leroy's opened up with a new menu! Our table tried half the menu and we're coming back soon to try the other half!!
Sunday fried chicken. Just do it!
We went with seven of us to celebrate a graduation. We brought our own cake. The servers did an excellent job and made us feel very welcome. They even helped us with things we needed to serve our cake.I highly recommend Leroy’s.
The staff seemed afraid of the guests. We were required to put our masks back on each time our server came to the table no matter his distance from us which was very inconvenient while dining. Our waiter acted uncomfortable serving us as did the other staff. Not sure why they reopened if they are so nervous about having people there. It didn’t make a causal fun dining experience. Not good
The macaroni and cheese was out of this world, it was homemade pasta and a delicate cheese sauce. The freshly caught all he tuna with English peas was divine, and I even got to see the giant tuna in a photo
Can I just tell you that the homemade dingdong was in sane???!!!!
Love this place, and so happy they have reopened. Menu has many major updates, although most of the favorites are still included. We tried a couple of the new salads which were great. Unfortunately, they have also updated their wine list...not delighted about the new choices. Probably switching to beer since the selection is great.
Yummy good was very delicious, and the place is cool
We went specifically for hip hop brunch and the music was great!!! And so was our server!! The food was very good too...I highly recommend the truffle fries! Great spot in Coronado
Corona virus keeping people away, too bad because it's a great restaurant
Birthday date with husband.
We were seated quickly prior to our reservation.
Choice of table in bar area (happy hour still in effect) or dining!
We ordered our drinks at Happy Hour Prices.
We were not told about Tues Prix Fix dinner choice (husband noticed listing on sign across the room). I actually ordered and was most Happy!
Because it was my Birthday and I already had dessert coming with dinner- my happy hour drink was my Birthday surprise!! Very nice for that to happen.
Our experience will bring us back
OH - highlight was the new appetizer item- onion dip with
Cucumber slices and house made potato chips!! Oh my gosh...
everyone should order!!!!
Thanks
Leroy's Brunch is one of the best in San Diego! The maple bacon Bloody Mary is incredible and I always start the brunch with the house made specialty. Since the menu changes every couple of months, there are several tempting and unique dishes that never disappoint. Everything is fresh, delicious, and creatively presented. The service is excellent with cordial and attentive wait staff.
Came into the restaurant and there wasn’t a single person that worked there. I had to walk back to their office/break room to get their attention. Slightly elevated bar food. One of the dishes was salty to the point of being inedible. Got the Bloody Mary, which was good, but someone decided cinnamon sugar bacon went well on it. It did not and was off putting.
Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We have been to Leroys at least 6 times. The food has always been good. This time we ordered the steak and the pork chop. Both were way overdone. A bummer.
Came here for Hip Hop Brunch. The DJ was awesome. We ordered the French toast and grilled cheese and tomato soup. Portions are humongous. Also ordered the chart cherry + pomegranate mimosa. So good!! We will definitely be back.
Food was amazing! Definitely will visit again!
Gregory or waiter was amazing. Very energetic. Great conversation. Just overall the complete package. And exactly what I needed for valentines with my lady.
Now the entire staff were still great. They came by and checked on us if he were busy. Manager was a lovely lady.
Food was tasty. Drinks were tasty. Lots of beer on tap. Also, Gonzo and some other musicians played and they were fantastic!
Service was amazing we loved our waitress!
We had several small plates and all but one were really good. Our cauliflower was undercooked. The server noted it and took it off the bill. This is a fun place with an innovative menu. We eat here whenever we are in Coronado.
The food was only fair. We are Coronado residents and will not go back again
LeRoy's was a great place for dinner before going to a show at Lambs Players Theatre. We shared the mussels and shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. The amount was just right since we didn't want any leftovers to take to the theatre. We fo
und street parking nearby.
The shrimp and grits was the best thing I have eaten in a very long time. It had just that right balance of cheesy goodness that makes you happy to eat. So delicious in every way. I hope this is not an in and out item because I am not sure "I can quit you"! :-) The server was awesome- very attentive and personable.
Excellent happy hour! Food was amazing, drinks top shelf and very reasonable! What a fabulous place to go in Coronado! Don’t miss Leroy’s for one of the BEST happy hour’s around😉
We both ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese.
It was served with 1/2 lobster, broiled and served sitting on a delicious mac & cheese.
Excellent meal, attentive service and I would definitely return.
We loved this place, sat in bar area and the bartenders were fabulous! We went twice for dinner. The first time my husband got the shrimp and grits. He loved it so much, we had to go back, The first visit, we were well cared for by a tall bartender with Bob Ross hair. Very nice guy. The 2nd visit, we were attended by Dallas. He was amazing!!!
WE stopped here for a date night and totally enjoyed our meal. The cocktails were great, and our entrees - a kale salad with chicken and the shrimp and grits - were perfectly prepared. Our service was excellent, also! Highly recommended.
Simple and solid. Good food and good service. Everything is good.
Good- all just ok but pricey
Great grilled cheeses and soup.
Very much enjoyed everything from poke tacos to lobster roll to Brussel sprouts!
Fast friendly service, food arrived quickly and as we had ordered. Server was attentive.
Our server, George, was very attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. The drink suggestions were perfect and everyone in the party had fun tasting all the unique cocktails. The food was INCREDIBLE! Seriously wowed everyone, a big favorite was the Chilaquiles were a huge favorite. Overall great experience and we will definitely be making this a regular spot for us.
The Farmer's salad with steak added was super. Added those amazing deviled eggs and we were happy.
Love the restaurant. The food and the price were both outstanding! Great location in Coronado.
Great food. Great fun!
Still a solid choice when visiting the Island!
Leroys has been a favorite of ours for a few years and this day it did not disappoint. We didn’t realize that they were having Bluegrass Brunch so the live music was a welcome treat. Our server (can’t remember her name) was on point and made a great recommendation of the Pork Belly Hash. Great big tasty Yukon Gold fried potatoes covered in a Hollandaise under some thick cuts of perfectly cooked pork belly. Talk about a perfect breakfast. Top that off with one of the best Bloody Mary’s I’ve had in a long time.
Leroy’s was the perfect brunch destination.
