   Never been to this property before. Ordered crab cakes entree (split as an app with the wife). They were exceptional. We particularly liked the grits preparation that accompanied them. The presentation didn’t hurt either! The Reserve chardonnay by the glass, I ordered was so good we bought a bottle. Not the best way to economize! I ordered the pork porterhouse. Very tasty. Properly cooked and served medium. My wife ordered the halibut entree. Her plate was clean. I rarely see that. I ordered the bacon collards. It is a side (for the table). I could not finish it. A bit salty for my taste; but I am on a salt restricted diet. The service was by Jacob. Very accommodating and prompt. No problems, here. We’ll return.

   We were seated at a table directly next to an AC vent. The waiter put a tablecloth over it, as I was cold. Marcona Almond soup was ok; a little salty, and not something I would recommend. The crab cake was soggy. I don't want a dried out crab cake, but this was mushy. I only ate a few bites. Oysters were good. The tenderloin was ok, not tender enough. Service was s-l-o-w. I understand that they are not trying to rush us, but we sat for 20 minutes waiting to pay the bill. The hotel is fabulous, but we won't eat dinner here again.

   The cheesecake was great. However it didn't start that way. The fried oysters were terrible and possibly spoiled. I even had to remove one from my mouth for fear of it having gone bad. Then the halibut was nothing more than served in what was no more than a bowl of water. Not worthy of the Jefferson at all.

   This was our first time dining here. Everything was perfect. Our server, Jacqui, was very helpful and thoughtful. The experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Halibut was excellent. Server was very efficient and accommodating. We had a show to get to and dinner was timely but not rushed.

   This is not the Lemaire we expected and experienced in previous visits. It is the first time since remodel/enlargement of dining area. We received a dinner gift from our son and family to dine here, and we were looking so forward to it but didn’t feel it was as we were hoping for. We arrived and were promptly seated in an area not Seated in the past (new dining area). Nice table location, next to the area where extra dishes are kept. One menu on the table for two. We ordered, and I asked two appetizers be served as my entree. Husband had wine, and I ordered coffee. Bread was delivered, no warm rolls but only two small slices of bread were placed on our bread plates. It took forever to get coffee, and it was merely warm. Ick. Drank a little and Then asked to have a fresh cup. It was just a little warmer. Caesar salad was brought as an appetizer, not as entree. When asked if something was wrong with salad, I merely said “no. I am going to eat it as entree.” Waited a long while before husband’s dinner was served and my other appetizer was brought. His scallops were perfectly seared, but cold in the middle. Polenta was good, Caesar salad was good, and crab cake as good. Waited for our dishes to be removed and decided to order dessert. That took 25-30 minutes to be delivered. I asked for more coffee.That coffee wasn’t hot either. When we left, we said to one another “what happened to Lemaire? That was not a good dining experience. No filet on the menu either. We are so disappointed. We had brunch for 25 at The Jefferson ten years ago when we married and other meals in the real/original Lemaire dining room. They were perfectly executed. This last experience was poor in comparison.
