   Our tradition is to celebrate our anniversary at Lemaire. Yesterday was our 49th anniversary. We are looking forward to 50 next year

   Lemaire exceeds our expectations again! Excellent wait service by Jacquie; she was personable, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and offerings. Fried oysters were the best I've ever had. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection - we both cleaned our plates! A perfect anniversary dinner!

   Outstanding service and excellent Food. Jefferson Hotel is something to see. Hostess was polite and professional. Our special day was recognized by out server Dave. Steak, Scallops and Pimento cheese were awesome. My seat was by ac vent from floor which required secretly covering with napkin and wearing my jacket. Just a wonderful dinnrr

   Stay at the Jefferson every time we come to Richmond and a reservation at Lemaire is the first thing I do after making the room reservation.

   It was wonderful overall like always…we love The Jefferson and the bar and Lemaire! I did not enjoy the crab cake. I did not read the fine print. I was expecting a plain, “all crab” crab cake. The sauce preparation was entirely too rich for me. The server was amazing…extremely courteous and attentive and thorough.

   I had a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner at Lemaire in The Jefferson Hotel, and it exceeded expectations on every level. The menu struck a perfect balance of elegance and creativity—especially impressive for my mom, a pescatarian, who was thrilled with her Wild-Caught Halibut. I went for the grass-fed beef tenderloin, and it was absolutely spot-on—tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The ambiance is refined yet relaxed, making it ideal for a special occasion without feeling stuffy. Service was warm and attentive throughout the evening. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Richmond.

   Wonderful place for a celebration dinner. Beautiful dining room, superb food and staff. We enjoyed the salmon, halibut, pork chop, lamb chops and oysters. Desserts were amazing. Highly recommend.

    Great food and attentive server. Great wine choices, particularly the estate list. Unfortunately, as others noted in their reviews, the older building's acoustics do not do well with loud diners who pay no attention to others who do not want to hear their blatant self- involved stories. I felt as if I were sitting in a bar at times.
