Lehja is by far my favorite restaurant in Virginia. The owner has always helped us with suggestions and we've never been disappointed. We recently celebrated my husband's 50th birthday with friends and family at Lehja and we thoroughly enjoyed service and meal.

This was our first time dining with two other couples, one of whom had dined here previously. They allowed me to order for the group, and we all enjoyed our meal. Our server was attentive and was able to bring a selection of wines for us to try and was patient while we were making our decision. It is no secret this is one of our favorite places and for good reason.

We had lunch at Lehja. The food was incredible and the service was top class. Sunny, the owner, personally attended to us and ensured we had a fantastic experience. We even packed dinner from the restaurant. We would go back again. Wish they had a restaurant in the Northern Virginia area!!

Lehja never disappoints. Sunny and his team are so brilliantly talented. The food and wine selections are always a incredible. The service is amazing. I’ve been eating at Lehja for many, many years and have no plans to stop. Incredible every single time.

It was a fantastic experience start to finish. None of our party of 5 had dined at Lehja before (some had never eaten Indian food), and all of our menu questions were answered with a smile. The food was delivered quickly, and everyone said their meal was delicious (even the two who ordered too high on the spice level). We will definitely be back.

Our meals were exceptionally good. Our waiter was able to help us decide what to ear and the amount of spice for us. Our chicken dished were delicious and with just the right amount of spice. The samosas were delicious as well. We will definitely visit again soon.

We were so very pleased. I wish I knew our waiter's name because her was super, outstanding, charming, and helpful with our lack of knowledge of Indian dishes. He even ran out of the restaurant after me when I left my leftovers! All of our dishes were delicious, artfully served and flavorful. We will be back.

Dined here on the recommendation of a friend; it is our new fave Indian restaurant. Everything from start to finish made for a perfect date night. Great cocktails & wine list to creative apps and entrees that were more sophisticated than most Indian restaurants we've experienced. Our exceptional waiter, Mohit, was patient and accommodating as we struggled to decide. He surprised us with a delicately fried paneer, a perfect starter. We opted to share a vegetable biryani and lamb morsels in a creamy cashew sauce. The exceptionally tasty and perfectly cooked vegetable biryani was most generous on the vegetables - fresh and perfectly cooked - served with a delicate raita. The lamb morsels were melt-in-your-mouth tender with the sweetness of young lamb. We finished with a surprisingly light dessert of coffee & donuts with mocha creme. Quality attention to the food - fresh, perfectly cooked, creative initiative with spices and heat - combined with outstanding service, ambiance, noise level, and price point of Lehja in Richmond, VA, in our humble opinion, outweighs the competition of DC's Indian restaurant scene. We've already recommended it to several friends. I will happily make a special trip to Richmond just to experience Lehja! Thank you, Lehja, for a memorable date night and one of the best meals we've enjoyed dining out in several years.

We wanted to find a nice quiet spot for Valentine's day. The noise level was perfect. It was lively but still quiet. Food was amazing and the service was great. I highly recommend getting the bread basket.
