   We recommend the baocitas, peruvian chicken bites and the pastel de choclo. The bone marrow was good and the gaucho bread really set it off. We also had the grilled octopus. It was good, but it was the last thing to come out so by that time we were pretty full 😆

   We ordered the Chef’s tasting menu- every dish was amazing! Multidimensional dishes with relishes/aiolis, flavorful, and quality ingredients. Generous portions - we had to take our dessert to go. Cocktails were also delicious - we ordered the Lechon margarita and seasonal slushy.

   Went for special occasion. Everything was excellent. Only comment, waitress didn’t provide portion guidance, Ex: three scallops on a share plate for a party of five. Should recommend accordingly. 3% health and wellness added to check for employee insurance??? Shouldn’t this be built into the rates? May affect gratuities.

   Absolutely wonderful dining experience. A full dinner for 3 including a cut of ribeye steak only ran us about 200 total. Value for the meal was fantastic, staff was attentive, ambiance is great. Definitely making this a monthly visit.

    Wonderful experience and delicious tapas. Baocitos were absolutely delicious - warm, light and soft bao bun, tender beef brisket with great flavor, coupled with mildly spicy crunch of cabbage created perfect bite. Can’t go wrong with empanadas and fried chicken bites. Must try the scallops with corn, polenta pure! Yum!

    Every time I go to LeChon I leave thinking it was the best experience ever. My wife and I think this is a very special place for special experiences and absolutely love going there. The menu is always changing and always great!

    Our first time there celebrating our wedding anniversary. Despite putting it on the note that we are celebrating our anniversary and from out of town no one mentioned anything. The food were great and delicious. Presentation, portions were a bit small but just the right amount for 2 people. We loved everything we ordered from the foraged mushroom to shrimp ceviche, fried duck wings, bone marrow to the octopus salad. The octopus salad was so soft and buttery it will amazed you and make you want to order second. Do try! They didn’t have the moscato I love but we ordered Reisling instead. It was nice. The only drawback was that they had limited dessert on the menu. Thank you Lechon! Wish there’s a location in my town

    Our second time at LeChon and for the second time everyone was happily impressed with the taste of the food AS WELL AS the quality of service from the staff. We tried many dishes as well as beverages and they were all prepared well and memorable. We will go back again ...

    Every dish was absolutely delicious! It was a first visit for our party of four. We enjoyed several tapas and desserts. We will all be back for future visits. Our server Caden was excellent. We cannot say enough good things about our new favorite Portland restaurant!

    Making any request or adjustments at a restaurant can be tricky. Often times patrons are made to feel like they have to deal with whatever service they are given. From sitting to sending food back. Last night there were a couple of hiccups, but not once were we made to feel like asking for an adjustment was a burden or we were being too difficult. We didn’t want to sit at a particular table and were moved immediately. There was silverware with a fingerprint stamped on it a a new one was brought out. We were hesitant about sending food back because it was touch and the issue was quickly addressed and the food exchanged. Honestly great service like that along with how well seasoned and perfectly cooked the food is what will make a person come back every time. I am convinced that this is my new favorite spot in PDX!! For awhile I was a fan of Cibo until their service declined. At LeChon I feel welcomed and taken care of. That is also in large part due to Hallie who was an absolute doll. She really made the experience.

    Great atmosphere and good drinks. Some of the food was good and some of the food was just ok. Their ceviche was very flavorful but the shrimp were pre-cooked. The idea with ceviche is that the shrimp cooks in acid. That was somewhat disappointing. The porkchop was perfectly cooked but the mustard overpowered all other flavors. The steak tartare was great, as were the baocitos.

    Absolutely delicious meal. We ordered 5 dishes for a party of two and managed to finish them all but we were VERY full after. The scallops were the highlight of the meal, and the “design your own old fashioned” was a neat menu item I hadn’t seen before. Would come back here.

    The food was unbelievably awesome! I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy and I was in heaven! The empanadas were great but the Pastel de choclo and the Lomo saltado stole the show!! So good!!!!!! For some reason, our flank steak and short ribs took a very long time to come to the table....... way after everything else had already been finished. We ended up just taking to go. The server was very friendly and helpful with making our choices. I will say that he got a bit sidetracked at times and we had to ask for a few things as many as 2 or 3 times which was a little bit of an inconvenience. However, you go there for the food and the food was so good that I would recommend this restaurant to everybody I know. :)

    The food was delicious; the lomo saltado dish was the highlight. The restaurant was very loud until about 7:30pm or 8pm. If you are looking for a quieter meal, I would make a reservation after 7:30 pm.

    Every meal we have had at LeChon has been outstanding. We really need to add it to our regular rotation. The food - amazing flavours and great value. Standouts - Short Rib Baochitos and the Peruvian Chicken. Expert service in a fun atmosphere.

    When in Portland, I usually make it a point to dine here at least once. The food is so fresh and service always on top. I like the small plates and trying a variety of things. Being a pescatarian, there are many options as well as vegetarian options.

    This was our first visit to LeChon. We wanted Peruvian food for a group of 5. We got reservations (highly recommended) for 8pm on a busy Saturday night. We were seated in a large, comfortable booth. T he things we enjoyed: Fun, lively atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive server. Delicious food. The dishes are designed for shared dining. Some things we weren't expecting: The initial place setting included a few dirty plates, which were promptly replaced with clean ones. The food, although very good, wasn't true Peruvian, but more of a "fusion" style cuisine. For example, the Lomo Saltado sauce was slightly sweet and served with a sweet rice cake. The chocolate dessert was too salty. Overall we had a good time, and would definitely return.

    Our sever Halye was fantastic last night. We were a party of 12. Everyone enjoyed the delicious alcohol-free cocktails! The food was phenomenal. The atmosphere and decor is very cool. I recommend and will be back!
