First time at Labenese Taverna in a while. Overall, a disappointing meal. Slow and inattentive service. Our bottle of wine recommended by the server came at room temperature rather than chilled. Hummus appetizer delivered without pita. Two salads came out with rims of plates piping hot. Chicken shwarma on salads was dry from being kept under a heat lamp. Bill came with 20% service fee for party of 4. While we would have tipped server this anyway since a lot of this is probably beyond their control, frustrating to have mandatory service fee for poor service on a small table since it suggests they know the service is poor. Restaurant is looking tired- worn carpet and in need of a refresh. Overall, would not return.

Went here for lunch with a couple of friends. Our server was very attentive. We ordered grape leaves, which were delicious, and so was the hummus. I had the salmon salad as my main dish. It was super tasty and fresh, but I was super disappointed by the miniscule size of my salmon. It was almost laughable, it was so small. Had I not rationed the portion, it would've been gone in three bites. I would go back, but I definitely would like to have a normal sized piece of protein in the future.

For authenticity (confirmed by non-American, Lebanese Navy friends), freshness, extraordinary service, AND a harbour view (in Baltimore), savour this delightful dining experience! Reserved and reported for the first available seating, the day after Christmas, and they were ready to roll! Cheerfully and warmly greeted, seated with harbour view, enjoyed by two Navy sailors, reuniting from our first Lebanese Independence Day celebration taken with schoolmates, ten years ago. My shipmate proceeded to order a grand variety of sample items from the menu, to re-aquaint me with apparently the entire Lebanese cuisine, - his rapid-fire gyrations most expertly, cheerfully and patiently handled by charming Lupita. As the place rapidly filled, one could overhear the helpful and friendly service continuing at nearby tables, and the happy energy expanded into the wonderful ambience, which decor includes the delightfully European washroom alcove, complete with at least four labeled "double-vay-says" ("WC"). ALL the food, sauces, incredibly-fresh crisp salad components, meat varieties, were "slap-your-taste-buds-around" spiced to perfection, almost startlingly-surprising in variety and intensity. All in all, a true cornucopia of gastronomic delight, attended to by superb service, at a reasonable price. You'll rarely find better!

I have enjoyed several meals in the past, but the food wasn't as tasty this time. Hummus was still delish and the hot pita really delicious, but the entrees, particularly the fatteh, not presented as well or as good as before. In addition, the menu offered shawarma sandwiches, but they were unavailable at dinner. The exterior lights shining i the dining room made it feel somewhat like a cafeteria. On the plus side, when one of our party forgot to specify no yogurt on her dish, the server cheerfully took it back and replaced it. Not a bad experience, but not rushing back either.

What a great menu and amazing flavors. Everything was delicious and all the flavors and spices spot on. The lamb loin was definitely a favorite but I went for the seafood and great. Visit!!

Delicious! Hummus trio, sausages in lemon dressing, lamb shank. All fabulous, with sweet, personable service. Baklava might have been a little crisper but the honey ice cream was to die for. Highly recommend.

Took the Toronto Hustle cycling team here after their Maryland classic race and the staff looked after us, ensuring the food were on the table right when the boys sat down. They made making a reservation for 10+ breezy!! specially during an intense day! Great service, and great food! Would definitely comeback. I highly recommend LT not just for two but for large gatherings. Location is a bonus too!

LT always delivers the goods with authentic Lebanese entrees and apps. Try the Maanek sausages, it the steak tartare. You cannot find these at every ME restaurant, but they have these and they’re delicious. We’ve been driving an hour and a half to Baltimore for years, just to eat there. We’ve taken extended family and friends, and it never fail to impress.
