Excellent food and service!
As always, the food is here is outstanding. It is worth a trip just for the hummus and naans. We also loved the bronzini filet and jumbo ship entre.
Nice place to eat, it was close to the hotel I stayed at so I walked and left my car with the hotel valet. We were seated right away but it took 15-20 min. for the server to greet us and take our drink order. The hostess had to get him from the back. I ordered the Passion Ginger punch cocktail and my husband ordered the sangria, they were both very good. The complimentary bread and olive oil is also very tasty. For appetizer we had Fatayer Trio, my favorite was the spinach. The cheese fatayer was salty and the beef and lamb fatayer tasted gamey. For my entrée I had the Lamb Kabobs, very good, the lambs were seasoned well, the vegetables had a wonderful grilled flavor, and the rice is to die for. My husband ordered the mixed Kabob, which is chicken, lamb, and beef, he liked his as well. When our bill came, we noticed that a 18% gratuity was included, we never seen this before for a party of 2. Gratuity is usually added for large parties of 6 or more. The food was good but the wait time to be serviced and the automatic gratuity was a turn off.
Variety of options on the menu. I loved that they have plant based options :-)
Amazing food. Good for groups, they seem a little short-staffed like most places these days so you wait a bit. But servers are kind and attentive. We really appreciated our time there.
great food, service and the view of the harbor. Love the bakhlava and shawarmas and taverna platter. Only suggestion - maybe a bit more artistry in dish presentation, and I would not leave this place!
This is our go to place for the best hot bread in town! We love the atmosphere and the attention by staff and owner. The lamb chops and whole bronzino are our favorites. The watermelon and feta salad is so refreshing! To all the locals living in the neighborhood - if you haven't been - go!
Very enjoyable and tasty. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Food was excellent. We requested an outdoor table and their outdoor dining set-up worked well.
Absolutely delicious dishes. Would definitely return.
We had experience with the namesake in DC and were visiting family at Johns Hopkins for the first time since school began, for family weekend. We made a reservation and we’re glad we had chosen this. It was fantastic. The server was so friendly and knowledgeable and the food was top notch .. also the prices were incredibly fair for the inner harbor with a view !
Worst customer service!! They forgot to bring so many items that we ordered via our server. Then they charged the items on the receipt until we said something! Horrible experience!!
Everything we ordered was delicious. The bread and dip for it was excellent. The bread was hot, just out of the oven.
Just dating my fiancé
The food was good authentic Lebanese food, the Bekaa valley wine was affordable and exception. They were a little light on waitstaff, as are most restaurants today, but the service was exceptionally good. The waitress, hostess and manager all mad sure that we had an exceptional dining experience and all of needs were met, even after the restaurant had closed for the evening. We had an amazing time here and this has become my go to favorite restaurant in Baltimore.
Wonderful service and food!
The service and the ambiance was very well, but the concern I had was with the dish the, “chicken kebab”
The rice was not cooked properly. It was sticking together and very hard and it was not separated and “light” like rice should be. The chicken on the same dish had issues. it was very dry, very bland, and had a burnt taste to it.
However, I ordered the camel wings and they were better than the first time I had them. So, the experience was below average at best. I’m not really impressed with the cooking style because the first time I came here, there were issues with the dish then too. It’s like the food is made in a rush, or so that has been there for a while and is being used instead of fresh ones being made.
This is me and my husbands favorite restaurant and love to come here on date nights because no matter what you order it will be delicious
Made a reservation and staff took 10 minutes organizing a table in front of me when I got there. Needed to remind staff to bring out water, drinks, apps. Food came out cold and chicken was gamey/dry, overcooked. Nice outdoor views, but not worth the price.
The food was spectacular. Bright flavors, fresh and well cooked ingredients, beautiful presentation-- even familiar basics like hummus they take to the next level. The service was stretched thin but these days who can blame them for it.
The food here is always amazing.
Consistent main stay middle eastern food.
The interior looks worn and somewhat shoddy. The service was rather slow and the wait staff seemed overstretched. The food was adequate if a bit overdone. On the whole, it was a mediocre meal. Not fine dining by any measure. It wasn’t awful, but it’s not an occasion type of place. It’s more of a decent lunchtime eatery or someplace to stop by if you’re just passing by and are hungry.
One server for the entire restaurant on a Saturday night. We felt terrible for her. The place was very crowded and we had to wait a long time even for water. We did more waiting than we did eating. It will be a long time before we come back. I’d really like a refund. In addition it was very warm in the dining room. It’s a shame because the food is so good.
Good food, a bit formulaic. Nice wait staff. We ate inside as it was too hot outside.
A bit noisy with two vocal two year olds at different tables, no fault of the restaurant but nicer places won't usually have that ambiance.
Excellent food! Great location, ambiance and service.
Dinner was excellent. Our server was great and attentive (Veronica, I think); and dinner was not crazy expensive. the watermelon feta salad is literally the best salad ever.
Great food! Service was good, but I’m definitely subtracting points because our plates were not cleared after the meal. In our case, they left them in front of us until we paid. They were playing some great music, but you could barely hear it because everyone was talking so loud. Obviously not the restaurants fault, but worth mentioning, so you get a feel for the atmosphere. Kuddos for the mouthwash in the bathroom- a pleasant surprise. We will go again.. so everyone else, talk quieter and let’s all enjoy the music and our company.
Some of the entrees were not hot. Excellent taste. Great mezze to start. Good service. Friendly service.
Good for noshing at complete dinner.
Overall the food was delicious and the service was great we enjoyed our meal and can’t wait to come back.
Terrific service, amazingly tasty food.
Delicious lunch! Every choice was very tasty! ecause of rain possibility, we ate indoors. Very kid friendly too!
We enjoyed our meals. All of the food was delicious, and the restaurant was a very pleasant experience.
4 friends - one is moving to Florida.
Always delicious, and the service on this visit was just the absolute best!
- understaffed = longer wait times, though didn’t affect dining experience or expectations~.
- amazing food + good portions for sharing or takeaways
Really great food and service. Hummus of course is wonderful, and enough to fill you up alone.
It was a great experience and the food was also really good.
