Outstanding meal and service!
Whenever I'm visiting Colonial Williamsburg for a meeting (at least three times each year), I like to have lunch at Le Yaca with friends. The menu is always interesting, and I like to try the specials, although long-time favorites are hard to pass up. The wine list is good, with reasonable prices for nice vintages by the glass or bottle. Service is excellent! Servers visit the table often enough to take care of needs that may have arisen, but not so often as to be a nuisance to conversation. The noise level is low enough to permit guests to speak to one another without having to yell.
Le Yaca is one of my favorite restaurants. The crab quiche I had for lunch was outstanding!
Could not have been nicer for my wife and myself. Quiet table in the corner. A bottle of wine. The French cuisine. Wonderful service. A special evening.
The lunch fix prixe options are an outstanding value. The choices are great and the food delicious. You cannot go wrong having a great lunch at a fantastic restaurant.
My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary there over the weekend. We had an 8pm reservation on a Sunday. From the time we entered the restaurant everything was perfect. The wait staff was very attentive, the food was outstanding, and even though we were one of the last to leave since it was so late, they didn't rush us at all. The ambiance was very romantic. We did the 3 course menu option, I had the lobster and Jumbo lump crab cake and my husband had the steak and grilled shrimp. Worth every single bite. I would go there over and over if I lived in the area.
Gail, our server, was friendly and fun but very professional. Her service was excellent as was the food and ambiance.
One of our favorite places in Williamsburg. We try to come every time we are in town. The prix fixe meal is very good! We enjoyed the special onion soup, veal, filet with shrimp, apple tart and chocolate house special dessert. Minh is a fabulous waiter-friendly and efficient. We will return.
Great birthday dinner per usual!
Great service and food quality and presentation!!! A bit pricey.
Staff was exceptional; they moved us close to fire after we had spent several hours earlier that day in the cold. Food was deliciou & waiter even knew how to take a decent picture. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you!
Great brunch! Never miss the soufflé!
Wonderful upscale French restaurant. Being greeted by a roaring fireplace sets the mood as soon as you enter the door. Our Sunday brunch was delicious. Every course was attractively presented, perfect temperature, not over salted, and a gourmet delight. Our waiter was attentive, answered our questions about the offerings knowledgeably and gave us amble time to complete each course. Fresh bread basket included two chocolate croissants! Warm and yummy. Highly recommend.
We have enjoyed this restaurant a number of times when in Williamsburg. Great food, choices, wait staff, and reasonably price for the quality of good.
Absolutely our favorite restaurant for food, service, and atmosphere.
Last Saturday evening November 10th, my husband & I took out of town house guests from SnowMass,Colorado, NYC & Palo Alto, California to one of our favorite restaurants, Le Yaca Williamsburg. The food was delicious & the service was impeccable. Our waiters were Louie and Kris. They were every bit as professional as waiters we've had in our favorite restaurant in Manhattan, NY such as La Grenouille and The Palm Court at the Plaza.
We thoroughly enjoyed dining with you at Le Yaca. Thank you and your staff for a lovely evening.

Kelly was our server. She did a great job. The timing between the courses was great - enough time to enjoy the course and then sit and talk. The menu is always excellent - lots of choices. We went with the three course meal - salad/soul, entree, dessert - it was a perfect blend of portion sizes so we didn't feel like a blotted whale😆 - and the price was great as well. All in all, a great dinner.
Consistently a good experience. Staff welcoming and accommodating. Nice menu and excellent service.
The food was good. Great wine. Our server was a bit inattentive which was frustrating but it was Friday night.
Very disappointing. Had to track down a waiter to order drinks. Had to track him down again to order food. Then the wrong food comes out (for 3 out of 4 of us) and he insists he’s right. Another staff member gets involved and they leave the table but leave one of our party’s dinner in front of her. I had to tell them to take it away too. They finally get it right. It was nothing special and my steak was not done to my specs but by that time I just wanted to eat. Used to love this place but the last two times the service has been so troublesome that - particularly at their prices - I doubt we will be back. It was a special occasion (which they knew because I put it in the reservation) and I didn’t want to mar it by making a fuss. Really disappointed.
Excellent food. We had a bit of trouble conveying how we wanted or steak done, so they ended up coming out somewhat more rare than we wanted. Because of the sauces, this wasn't immediately clear. We'll know better next time.
Excellent cuisine, ambiance and service. Our server, Max, was outstanding, as always.
The filet mignon, bread and dessert were superb.....service professional and friendly, but not TOO friendly...!
Marvelous French restaurant near Williamsburg. Incredible menu, especially the braised lamb on Thursdays. Classy, great service, lots of parking. Don’t miss this one!
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. We celebrated a birthday here and every thing from the greeting at the door, to the food, to the ambiance was fantastic. The prix fixe menu has lots of options and the nightly special was delicious. We will definitely be back.
Great restaurant to meet friends for lunch. Fortunate for us it wasn’t crowded so the noise level was acceptable.
Enjoyed lunch with a friend to celebrate her Birthday. Our lunch could not have been any better - great food, beautiful restaurant, and wonderful company, it could not have been better.
The cuisine is exceptional, equivalent to a 3-star French restaurant. The wait staff is very knowledgeable, and their goal is your enjoyment. Their lunch menu is the best value in town, treat yourself!
This restaurant offers a very good variety of french cuisine. Staff was extremely helpful and efficient. I had Dover Soul and my wife had a great pork dish with an excellent wine sauce. They make a great Grand Marnier souffle that is to die for (Son't forget to get a shot of Grand Marnier on the side to put into the souffle).
My wife and I had a very enjoyable meal at Le Yaca. It was a great value. We each had the fixed price meal. The servings were large and the food was excellent. Our service was excellent also.
Here vacationing for a week, glad to have found this gem, not your typical tourist trap restaurant. Great gourmet food, ambiance and service. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great French bistro in Williamsburg. VirginiaBeach locational well. The pre fix Sunday brunch offers a number of excellent choices, including a drink, appetizer, main course and dessert is a great deal. We have been here for lunch and dinner before, so first time for brunch. Will definitely be back.
Always an enjoyable meal. We felt a bit rushed, with soup arriving before cocktails. We arrived at 1:00 PM, which was near the end of their brunch service, so it was somewhat understandable. Our waiters were attentive and very efficient.
We came 60 miles to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary. It was a perfect experience; already planning our next visit!
Excellent food and service. Mrs. is French, so it is a given that we are going to try French restaurants wherever we travel. Le Yaca had very good reviews so we gave it a try. We were both very impressed with the flavorful dishes and excellent service. Mrs had their version of La Soupe a l'oignon (pureed), which while different, was very tasty – not a drop left in the bowl. I had a good salad. Main course – Mrs had Les Coquilles Saint-Jacques; again they served their own version of a classic, which was excellent, very flavorful. I had Veal Scallopini, which was cooked perfectly (often I find this dish overcooked, resulting in meat that is pretty tough) and with the excellent sauce, was very flavorful. But oh my, last but by far, not least … we split a Soufflé Au Grand Marnier. Excellent !!! Next time in Williamsburg, we will definitely return.
Le Yaca has become one of our favorite restaurants of all time. We loved it so much for our anniversary that we are going back one more time before our vacation ends and we must go home. We had the mushroom and chestnut soup and filet with a sauce and blue cheese wedge. It was fabulous and very filling. Our sever, Max was surpurb.
Always enjoy Le Yaca when we are in Williamsburg. My husband loves the escargot. Our waitress, Victoria, was terrific. We both had veal (2 different sauces) and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will continue going back.
Had a great time. Everyone in our party was totally delighted. Onion soup was exceptional. The prix fix lunch is a great deal.
what can one say, superb food, outstanding service and just about perfect.
We come back to Williamsburg for relaxation and excellent food. Love the French cuisine and warm hospitality of this fabulous restaurant. Comfortable ambiance yet elegant, amazing dishes, creative cuisine, served by professional and friendly staff. Brianna was by far our favorite server. Felt like we were dining in her home. Rest assured we shall return. Thanks again for a special evening.
