   we went to the restaurant with an opentable offer (£30 per person which included a glass of sparkling wine). The atmosphere and the service were good, and the location is excellent. However, with this offer the options available in the menu were limited and half of the 4 desserts on the menu were not available. Very expensive water too! I have chosen Not recommend for this offer.

   Pre theatre meal on a Saturday. Main course lovely, dessert just enough. Starter awful - trio of herb tomatoes and goats cheese salad was actually rough quartered tomatoes (3 types) and the tiniest two blobs of something like a cream which I assume was the goats cheese. Don’t order it. Sommelier was brilliant - thoroughly good advice on drinks. Overall, service was excellent but occasionally bordering on intrusive with the number of interruptions. Slight lack of awareness when in the middle of a conversation. I would recommend this restaurant as the location, views and interior are lovely but I would suggest you order from the a la carte menu.

   Nice meal with an old friend, we both had the set menu priced at £30, the food was very good, and excellent value for money. My only native comment would be that a £4.00 cover charge was added to our final bill as well as a service charge, which we thought was a bit cheeky but as it was only a small charge we decided not to question it.

   Excellent food, good if extremely over-priced wine, but terrible service, right from the beginning when two of us were criticised by a waiter for going outside with a drink from the bar to... a bar table outside. Yes, she didn't understand either why this was a no-no. From the beginning we had the sense that we were not being treated well by the staff, possibly because we were four women, possibly because we had booked on the Restaurant Month menu? The offer came with a glass of sparkling wine each. One of us was late and when she arrived we looked for her glass. The waiter had removed it for some reason and it was quite a push to get a replacement. This was a sign of the weirdness and incompetence to come. The butter was a little rancid, the mashed potato side dishes both tepid, the panna cotta three of us ordered for dessert turned out to be unavailable, when the bill came the friend with the drink was charged for bar nibbles she had been served with but had never ordered. The waiters were young and confused, the management busier chatting with each other while blocking the aisles than supervising good service. One friend speculated that this restaurant is only keen on its City clients who are fine with the huge markups on the wine, for instance. We certainly didn't feel welcome and are all very used to eating out in restaurants at this level! Back to the Connaught for our next gathering and we would all strongly suggest avoiding Le Pont de La Tour. Unless perhaps you are a City worker, or at least have a male or two at your table...

   The service was excellent and quietly attentive. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and the individual ingredients. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

   Five of us were celebrating my husbands big birthday and we had a wonderful time, the food was was very good, very well presented, wonderful flavours and good value with the London Restaurant Festival deal. The staff were all very attentive in a good way and made our meal very special. Thank you to all at the restaurant, we will definitely visit again!

   We celebrated our daughters birthday at this restaurant. The staff looked after us extremely well, efficient but friendly and attentive throughout. The food was excellent in both presentation and importantly taste. The views over the river make this a lovely location so close to Tower Bridge. A wonderful evening which we thoroughly enjoyed.

    An excellent venue by Towe Bridge. We enjoyed first rate service from attentive and friendly staff. The food is good and well presented, with an interesting extensive wine list. Certainly not a budget priced establishment, but one I know I will look forward to returning on another occasion.
