   Delicious food, lovely wine and great service. Great company as well.A great view of Tower Bridge and we were sitting outside which is a rarity in London.

   The staff were absolutely wonderful! We had the 3 course menu - the steak tartare and the Comte eclair (specifically the eclair) were amazing!! We had the steak for mains and they were ok, nothing to write home about. The sides (fries and the leaf salad) were nice, but expensive for the small portions. We ordered the crème brûlée French toast, one with berries and one caramelised banana - but we didn’t realise the latter didn’t have the actual crème brûlée topping, it was just caramelised banana and some scorched, extra crispy bacon. The crème brûlée itself wasn’t smooth at all but didn’t taste eggy so I still ate - overall a nice dessert. We washed it all down with some Chianti which was really lovely. It’s on the front and an epic view of tower bridge, so it’s going to be more expensive - but for £160ish total bill, I’ve eaten at better places.

It's always a pleasure to hear when specific dishes make a memorable impression. We appreciate your honest thoughts on the mains and desserts, however there is an egg pasrty cream on top of the French toast, with added sugar for caramelization. Regarding portion sizes and value, we do strive to balance high-quality ingredients, a riverside setting, and attentive service in our pricing — but we understand your perspective and will take your comments into consideration as we continue refining our offering.    We had a very good dining experience at Le Pont de la Tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals but our experience was rather spoilt by the unexpected disappearance of our wine waitress. We suddenly stopped getting our top up and after a a wait of at least 30 minutes we enquired about this! We were told she had finished for the night and gone home. This memory will unfortunately spoil our memories of the visit and an otherwise lovely meal!

   Disappointing experience at Le Pont de la Tour. We ordered fish and steak — both were below average in flavor and quality. Shockingly, one of our glasses had lipstick on it. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only 3 tables occupied, making the large space feel cold and lifeless. Beautiful view, but the food, service, and hygiene didn’t match the location. Would not return

   Dear Edan, We noticed you rated the service 3 stars and would appreciate it if you could share more detail on what didn’t meet your expectations, as this helps us assess the experience more accurately. Regarding the lipstick on the glass, we’ve spoken with the manager who was looking after your table, and he confirmed that nothing was mentioned to him or the team at the time. If it had been brought to our attention during your visit, we would have addressed it straight away. Also, your table was one of the last to dine, which may explain the quieter atmosphere compared to earlier service. As for the food, fillet mignon and halibut are two of our top-selling dishes and we regularly receive excellent feedback on both. We're sorry to hear they didn't meet your expectations on this occasion.

   Seafood is yummier than the steak. The waiters and waitresses are passionate. But the table is too small.

   Cocktails before the meal. Then oysters and caviar with champagne and an excellent meal. All was wonderful quality. The restaurant is in a superb location by Tower Bridge. The staff were attentive and friendly whilst being professional. For a celebration meal and experience it's difficult to beat.

    Excellent food in fabulous setting and very good value brunch. Particularly helpful staff accommodating moving our booking due to delays on marathon day.
