This summer, our bar terrace transforms into Pont Plage – a riverside escape inspired by the French Riviera, available for group bookings. With real sand, striped deck chairs, vibrant umbrellas and a sunny soundtrack, it’s your slice of Côte d’Azur right on the Thames. Groups can book one of three premium lounge areas, complete with a welcome bottle of Mirabeau Spritz on arrival. Enjoy a Riviera-inspired bar menu featuring lobster rolls, French mustard hot dogs, and classic pan bagnat, plus al fresco games like bat and ball or pétanque – all subject to availability. In the event of bad weather, guests will be seated inside the bar.

The location is not great, it’s isolated. The only good thing is the view. The deco is fine but very uncomfortable. Overpriced for what you get.

The view and setting is amazing if you eat in the outdoor terrace. The service also very good. The food could improve. It is ok but it not outstanding as the view and the setting which the real reason to go the the Pont

I live locally so I am sad to write this but hope it will be taken on board. I love this restaurant and it ambience and location and indeed its history. My lunch yesterday was poor and my friend felt the same. The food menu was just too limited and I had sea bass and it was really was not nice at all. I would urge this amazing restaurant to review the menu as we both struggled with the menu. The service was not good and had to ask fir bread twice and the salt. I would love to return to this restaurant but would not do so at the moment.

Overpriced. Wine mark up outrageous. Filet portion is ridiculously small. Staff are trying their best in what is obviously a tourist trap.

The staff were absolutely wonderful! We had the 3 course menu - the steak tartare and the Comte eclair (specifically the eclair) were amazing!! We had the steak for mains and they were ok, nothing to write home about. The sides (fries and the leaf salad) were nice, but expensive for the small portions. We ordered the crème brûlée French toast, one with berries and one caramelised banana - but we didn’t realise the latter didn’t have the actual crème brûlée topping, it was just caramelised banana and some scorched, extra crispy bacon. The crème brûlée itself wasn’t smooth at all but didn’t taste eggy so I still ate - overall a nice dessert. We washed it all down with some Chianti which was really lovely. It’s on the front and an epic view of tower bridge, so it’s going to be more expensive - but for £160ish total bill, I’ve eaten at better places.
