   I try to be non critical of restaurants given how tough the industry is right now but this was probably the worst meal I have had in a long time. My wife chose scallops. They were tiny in a very bad curry sauce (in a French restaurant????!!) - she had it replaced with the foie gras which was ok but the brioch was just awful. I chose melted cheese as a starter which was, well, melted cheese. My main was confit duck. The skin was rubbery not crispy. I ordered a beer which came in a bottle and was not cold. My wife ordered a margherita which was just some sweet juice ( described as having chilli in it) and you couldn’t taste the alcohol. We left without dessert. It’s a nice little restaurant ambience wise but it would be really good as it’s very French or supposedly so if it played French string music not just anything. The waitresses were friendly and they did not charge for the scallops.

   Restaurant not busy.Pleasant staff but lacking training.Wrong wine brought(white rather than red) First course OK-shared calamari main course took 1hour to arrive.coq au vin and confit de canard.Both we're overcooked,almost burnt legs dumped in the same gravy When I complained the waitress offered to remove the service charge but I thought that was unfair

   Excellent service. Main course, confit de canard, slightly overcooked. Tarte de Limon was excellent. I would repeat but choose a different main course.

    We’ve been going to Le Garrick for many years now and it never fails to impress. Friendly and helpful. Great food. Can’t fault it. Look forward to visiting again soon!
