Interior design well suited to Vietnamese restaurant scene. Filled with millennials. Energetic atmosphere but loud. Food quality and originality ok. Poor, rushed, uninterested server. For us not worth the trip downtown.
I like their restaurant concept and ambiance - a little of old Vietnam and a twist on their classic dishes. But I left hungry. Still, it's good for a try.
Our waitress was amazing and gave us her favorites and tips. I truly enjoyed the food, especially the wonton dumplings.
I’ve taken so many people to Lê Fat over the past two years and this last visit was awful all around. The menu has changed but the dishes I typically order were bad. Over cooked or dry and flavourless. I won’t go again.
Love this place! It is one of my go-to places for dinner.
Amazing food!! I was hesitant about going but my service was great and so was my food. I had the Drunken noodles and my friend had the Curry Chicken. Can't wait to go back.
Food was excellent as always. We will be back! Only thing I’d change is to have a bigger wine list.
The fried chicken is as good as everyone says. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the curry was as well. The spicy green beans were DELICIOUS and a must-order. The service was also spot on - gracious, attentive, helpful and quick. We look forward to going back.
We had the steamed dumplings, vietnamese chicken curry, pork belly bowl, ginger yuzu cocktail and the chocolate torte. The steamed dumplings and chicken curry were so flavorful, well-seasoned, delicious, and beautifully prepared and presented. While the presentation was beautiful, the pork belly bowl was underwhelming in terms of flavors and textures (dry meat, with dry rice, with dried garlic and other herbs on top, with some broccolini). The yuzu flavor was strong in the cocktail and I found it too sweet, but my dinner companion loved it. The chocolate torte was rich. It's simple, dense, fudgy, rich, chocolate shaped into a pie slice. Delicious, but a complete 180 from the inventive, flavorful, colorful, ambitious appetizers and entrees.
Loved the food. Our server Renata was attentive and the food was great
Out for dinner with a friend. Service was excellent across the board. All staff were very attentive to and noticeably accommodating toward the needs of the guests. Even the greetings and farewells were great. Always a wonderful experience.
Tasty and delicate portions of Vietnamese food
I've had many good experiences in the past and always enjoy the drunken noodles, however the service on Saturday night was lacking at best. My date and I enjoyed the food and ambiance, but this couldn't make up for the lack of service - once seated it went downhill...
This used to be a favorite of mine , however after returning after some time, we were disappointed. The appetizers and salads were very bland-not flavorful Vietnamese you’d expect. The entrees are the only items that lived up to their previous quality. May need to find another venue ?
We’ll be back very soon!! The food was delicious! I can’t stop thinking about the chicken clay pot dish’s crispy rice.
Fabulous! We had a wonderful time! Will definitely be back!
Always delicious! The drunken noodles are my favorite. And the vietnamese coffee is delicious.
We had a great dinning experience. Food was great and so was the service. Our server Renata was attentive and making sure we had a great dinner. Would definitely come back
Le Fat has been a favorite place for date nights in the past. However, this past Saturday night was disappointing. We were there with another couple. I recommended the Moscow Mule which has always been excellent. But, the drink was sooo spicy (“burning” spicy) that we sent both back. Food was good, but just not the excellence we have experienced in the past. I love garlic, but The Clay Pot Shrimp was overloaded with it! The soft-shell crab appetizer was dry and without flavor; and the Papaya Salad looked thrown together. My husband loved the “Unsung Hero” cocktail, but it was no longer available. The kitchen and bar seems to have gone downhill. 😥
P.S. I also noticed after our visit that Le Fat’s health score (online) is a B. My husband and I only trust A restaurants!!
Le Fat is amazing. Every bite was full of flavor. Highly recommend the clay pot chicken and drunken noodles. The escargot was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Le Fat is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants I’d highly recommend!
We took a friend from out of town and he was very impressed with everything from his cocktail to his meal...to my meal. He couldn’t stop trying other people’s orders! It’s great to have a restaurant that offers a unique experience, great service, and wonderful food.
We sat too close to the next table. Was very distracting.
The spring rolls were fantastic, as was the curry chicken. Service was great. Prices are surprisingly reasonable considering the upscale feel.
Le Fat was a nice surprise. The food was very good. Although I was satisfied I still wanted more because it was delightful. I will definitely be back with friends.
Food was on-point as usual. Disappointed with the service since waiter kept on wanting to remove plates too quickly and never refilled water and was hard to get a reach of.
Our service with Tanner was awesome. Great food. Large portions.
We adore Le Fat, and return whenever our travels from Boston allow. However...they need to work on speeding up their service! My cocktail arrived with dinner and wine completed the final moments of dinner. This has happened the last three visits. Hope they read their reviews, as we don’t want to lose this fave rave for food and ambience!
Parking is right next to the building and FREE a bonus for midtown. We have been here several times. I recommend the clay pot chicken and drunk nooodle for dinner... they changed the shaking beef but it’s still decent. We have had several servers but Wendy is my favorite...she always asks how we have been and says it’s great to see you again. Drinks can take some time. Overall...we keep coming back because she makes us feel special
Hostess and server seemed unhappy to be at work and were phoning it in. No smiles, no apologies for a very late greeting, no offer of drinks before dinner. Very curt and not particularly welcoming at any point. Looks as if Le Fat will go the way of so many promising restaurants in Atlanta. Too bad, since the food is solid.
The food is AMAZING! For whatever reason though, drink service to our table is always slow. Slow to bring drinks, ask for refills and then to bring ordered refills. Odd as restaurants make good money on cocktails!!
First, we love this place . Eating out a lot we understand updating menus , fine tuning extras . But when one was as perfect as the Shaking Beef ..... lord do no screw with it. PLEASE go back to the original . This new thing looses some of the original flavor . This one is two sweet and just misses. I plan on ordering a new entra every time I would come there . BUT just could not get that original flavor out of my mind . So every time but One I have ordered Shaking Beef . PLEASE do not reinvent the summer rolls They are also perfect . Craig and I recommend your place all the time . We like the whole story you tell but now I will try other items because the shaking beef is not the perfect flavor .
Ps . Your staff is so great !
Mitchell Barnes & Craig Weaver
The atmosphere was lovely and the food was insane delish!
The server had an awful attitude the entire night. I’ve been here before so I hope she was having an off day but it was so much dismissal and attitude. This should not discourage you from coming here. It’s so good
Food was good. Service was not. Too much attitude.
I really wanted to try the soft shell crab and I did and it was good, needed salt or some type of bite. Crab and bacon were incinerated. We had a marginal waitress. She asked if I liked the food I said no, then she asked me if I wanted to box it to go. Uhm no! The crab with egg noddles isn't that great. There is some real and some not so real crab.i woukd go back for drinks and the sandwhich. And why is it so hard to ask people if it is there first time aar the restaurant????
The spicy green beans and clay pot chicken are to die for! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta!
I've been here several times before, but not sure if it was a holiday weekend, but the food was greasy and not good and the atmosphere was dead, no one was there...didn't seem like the place I've been to before
Good food, good service. Portions were a tad small for the price, but we’d return based on the food.
Food was great and service was ok
